XLR8 is the Infinimatrix's DNA sample of a Kineceleran from Kinet in Ben 10: Protector of the Omniverse. He is the Timeline 1 equivalent of the canon XLR8.
Appearance
XLR8 has his original series appearance, but he has a white line going from the top of his helmet, which continues on to the chin plate and stops at his neck. He is also taller and slightly more upright and his chin plate his bigger. The sleeves of his outfit stop at his elbows and have white stripes at the ends. Like his Ben 10,000 appearance, he has stripes under his shoulders and an arrow-shaped symbol on his torso. Like his reboot appearance, he has two fins on his back. His Infinimatrix symbol is recolored black and green. His colors match the color palette of Heroes United.
Transformation Sequence
Ben slams down the Infinimatrix dial and is engulfed in a green light.
As the transformation track begins playing, Ben hovers in a dark green background with light green bubbles pulsating rapidly behind him. Ben's eyes turn fully green, becoming oval-shaped, and his lips turn black. His hair disappears and a black helmet forms around his head. A white stripe runs through the middle of the helmet. His skin turns blue and his fingers fuse together in sets of two, forming two sets of fingers. His thumb and fingers stretch out while turning black, forming three claws. Ben's back curves as two spikes protrude out of it, while also forming a black tail with five blue stripes at his rear. His clothes change, becoming a black suit with a white middle and a green arrow underneath it. As the suit envelopes his legs, his feet change as his toes merge into two and become sharper. Two black balls form under his feet. Finally, his Infinimatrix symbol pops out of his chest as his visor comes down and he runs at the screen, completing the transformation.
Powers and Abilities
Using the orbs on his feet, XLR8 can reach running speeds of 500 miles per hour within two seconds. He can accelerate so quickly that time appears to completely stop to him, allowing him to change the positions of things around him mid-motion, while only being able to be seen by a camera with a very high shutter speed.
XLR8 is fast enough to run up walls and run on water.
XLR8 is capable of creating tornadoes by generating a centripetal vacuum powerful enough to lift a To'kustar, either by running in a circular pattern or spinning at supersonic speeds. He can also combine this with water running to create water vortexes by running in front of or around his enemies.
Even without his orbs, XLR8 naturally has a very high dexterity, capable of thinking, acting and reacting at superhuman speed. His sharp reflexes allow him to dodge attacks with little to no effort, and change direction very easily while running. He is able to type on keyboards or keypads at high speeds. When using this skill to bypass a multiple-digit code, he can think of and input every single possible combination instead of guessing.
Compared to his fellow speedster alien Fasttrack, XLR8 seems to have more control over his speed; he can immediately end a run by stopping in place, while Fasttrack can have trouble stopping if he runs too fast. Furthermore, he is implied to be faster than Citrakayahs and confirmed to be faster than Aerophibians on the ground.
XLR8 can deliver attacks in rapid succession, such as excessively kicking, or stabbing with his claws. The strength of his attacks also get enhanced when he applies more speed to them.
XLR8's scissor-like claws can cut through many materials with relative ease.
XLR8 has enhanced strength, as he was able to carry a multitude of people, including Gwen, to safety without slowing down at age 10.
XLR8 can recover from injuries faster than any other species, and is durable enough to withstand being thrown against a wall.
XLR8's tail is prehensile.
XLR8 is able to cling to surfaces, either due to his claws, his agility, or a combination of the two.
XLR8 has the potential to become even faster with age. This also boosts his strength.
XLR8 can make opponents dizzy to the point of falling unconscious by grabbing them by their arms and spinning them around in a circle at a fast pace.
XLR8 is completely frictionless.
Weaknesses
XLR8's speed does not work on all surfaces; running on ice can slow him down, whereas running on mud leaves him stuck in place.
XLR8 can also be held in place if his tail is either stepped on or held down.
Opponents with good reflexes and reaction time can counter XLR8's speed and land a blow on him, such as Transylians and Vulpimancers.
XLR8 is unable to avoid multiple objects being thrown at him all at once.
Technically speaking, XLR8 is physically weaker than Citrakayahs.
XLR8 has sensitive hearing, meaning he is vulnerable to being knocked out by a Sonorosian's sonic screams.

- XLR8 was one of Ben's original 10 aliens. He was locked upon the Omnitrix's recalibration in Ben 10 Returns: Part 1.
