Wildvine is an alien used by Ben Tennyson using the Unlimited Omnitrix. He appears in Ben 10: Beyond Bellwood and originates from the Earth-CDXI.411 universe.
Kevin's version of this alien was named Thornblade.
Ben's Unlimited version of this alien is Unlimited Wildvine.
Appearance[]
Wildvine is a tall murky green plant monster, with two modified leaves shaped like jaws enveloping his head. He has long-reaching vine-like arms and five root-like legs. Although he is often considered to only have a single-eye by onlookers, he actually has three. He has an eye on each shoulder that resemble bulbs, still able to see while the 'jaw' encloses his head.
The Unlimited Omnitrix is located on his chest.
Powers and Abilities[]
Wildvine is a plant alien with minor shapeshifting abilities; able to stretch and bend their boneless body in a myriad of ways. Their body is capable of merging with organic plant life, as well as an advanced degree of regeneration.
The seeds on Wildvine's back are multipurpose, able to explode, burst into opaque white knock-out smoke, or rapidly grow masses of vines. Wildvine can also pluck seeds from his forearms that can grow into a tangled shape of his own choosing.
History[]
Wildvine is one of the ten aliens Kev had placed into the Lifeboat Playlist.
He was first used in Death in the Everfree by Ben in order to restrain Queen Chrysalis so he could take her place during Twilight's summons and prevent her death at the hands of Ben's slightly younger self. He knocked her out using the seed pods on his back.
Wildvine appeared again in The Other Ben, where he fought Technorg. He withstood a powerful hit from the Champion but the malfunctioning Unlimited Omnitrix transformed him into Top Cat just as he attempted to throw a seed pod.
Ben briefly used Wildvine in Prodigy to scale a stairwell in Fort Bellwood in the universe consumed by the Flesh. Wildvine was used again later by the hero Prodigy in order to rescue the Unlimited Omnitrix from Ben's wrist when he was being eaten by Flesh. Instead, Ben transformed into Unlimited Wildvine and fought back until Prodigy was forced to transform into Heatvine.

Trivia[]
- Unlike Wildvine from most universes, this Wildvine is sampled from a Xenon native rather than a Flors Verdance native.
- This puts Wildvine's colour scheme more in line with Thornblade from the Ben 10 Reboot.
