Wildmutt is the The Ultimate Omnimatrix-10K's DNA sample of a Vulpimancer from the planet Vulpin.

Appearance

Ben's Descriptions

Wildmutt appears to be a large orange dog with no eyes, ears, nose, or tail. His posture and movements are also somewhat apelike. His teeth are very defined and stick out of his mouth. Since Wildmutt has no eyes, he uses his sense of smell and hearing to navigate, which are aided by three gill-like nostrils located on each side of his neck. In Ben 10,000, Wildmutt acquired a nose-like that is similar to every earth dogs' nose as it is able to allow Wildmutt to gain his new sense of smell.

Regular Appearances

In the Ben 10,000 Flashbacks, his appearance is unchanged as he is similar to OV Wildmutt except the fact that he gained two stripes that is the center of his fur as he is a little bit bigger but a little bit shorter. The OV Omnitrix symbol is on his collarbone.

In the Ben 10,000 (B10K), his appearance changed a lot. Wildmutt now has stripes on his back, as his body is a little bit bigger, his appearance has shifted to a more masculine form due to grown up. He also now has a tail. His lips is black. His fur is thicker and a little more darker but retains the lighter tone. His forearms are a little more bigger and his legs are a little more bigger. His universal translator is white with green and black stripes on the sides of the universal translator which has a spike on the center. He also wears green wrappings around his wrists and ankles with spikes and silver armor. Wildmutt wears the Omnitrix symbol on his universal translator. He gained a green and black short with a belt. He lost his OV collarbone as he doesn't wear it anymore. He also wears green wrappings around his wrists and ankles with spikes and silver armor. His swords and The Tenn-10K Machine are on his belt. Wildmutt wears the Ultimate Omnimatrix-10K symbol on his universal translator.

Powers and Abilities

Wildmutt's main ability is his sense of smell. As he has no eyes, his "vision" is made up of a dull 3D mapping of where his senses originate, similar to a thermograph. Combined with his enhanced hearing, his senses take the form of a radar or sonar, allowing him to still perceive his environment more clearly.

Wildmutt can sense invisible entities, therefore making invisibility useless against him.

Wildmutt's enhanced speed and reaction time allows him to dodge, evade, and counterattack effortlessly with the help of his senses.

Wildmutt can track almost anything and anyone by their scent.

Wildmutt has enhanced strength, as he could tear apart one of Vilgax's Drones with ease, throw a dumpster at a group of Limax, carry a Florauna on his back without difficulty (even while running), hold his own against a Buglizard, and pin down a Merlinisapien. He can also dig deep craters at a fast speed, even while digging through solid stone ground.

Wildmutt has enhanced agility that allows him to run, jump, and climb at an inhuman rate. He is highly acrobatic and gymnastic, with such movements being similar to that of an ape and one of any Earthling dogs.

Wildmutt is durable enough to survive a steel tower falling on top of him and jump through a glass window.

Wildmutt is a quadruped. However, he is capable of standing on his hind legs, and he can punch, somewhat awkwardly, by doing this. In addition, his feet are prehensile, as he caught Gwen with his foot as she was about to be sucked into space.

Wildmutt possesses razor-sharp teeth and claws, the latter of which he can use to climb vertical surfaces.

Because of how he does not see in the conventional sense, Wildmutt is not afraid of Toepick's species.

Although he has never trained himself to do so, the porcupine-like quills on Wildmutt's back supplement his sonar and can also serve as weapons, either protecting him while he's rolling or as projectiles fired off at will.

In Ben 10,000, after Ben acquired an advanced universal translator for some transformations like Wildmutt and he now speaks in human languages and able to translate his native language.

When Wildmutt got his new nose-like, it allowed him to have an Enhanced Smelling as advanced as it is easier for him to smell instead of his gills-like. Because of this, it changed completely from the gills to the nose which Wildmutt smells but he continue to retain his original enhanced smelling in his gills in case if his nose get damaged or not able to smell properly.

Weaknesses

Wildmutt cannot talk in human languages. Instead, he communicates through a combination of barking and snarling. Due to this, it is extremely difficult for anyone to understand him. But in Ben 10,000, after Ben acquired an advanced universal translator for some transformations like Wildmutt and he now speaks in human languages and able to translate his native language.

Wildmutt's lack of eyes makes him completely dependent on his other senses (mainly olfactory).

Wildmutt's senses are very sensitive, making him vulnerable to anything that can overwhelm his senses, for example like as a high-pitched sound.[

Wildmutt has a weakness against magic, as shown when Gwen put a spell on him.

When infected with a cold, Wildmutt's nostrils (on the sides of his neck) get blocked by mucus, making him unable to smell or hear and rendering him essentially "blind." In addition, his fur discolors from its vivid orange to a pale yellowish-orange tone, and his lips and claws turn from black to a sickly dark green hue.

Trivia

Wildmutt - Ben 10,000/B10K Production

  • When the B10K Production came back in 2020, the main creator had Wildmutt's appearance in his mind prior to the 2020 production, he said he wanted to have Wildmutt to acquire his own eyes, nose, and ears in order to have a new appearance and new powers for Wildmutt. But in the end, the main creator decided to not keep his vision for Wildmutt and he decided to have Wildmutt to keep the nose only and retained his original appearance with a universal translator and new clothes due to the complication and he felt that it didn't made sense or didn't see who Wildmutt is. Due to his updated vision, Wildmutt was able to keep his original appearance...YOU GUYS ARE SO LUCKY!
