The War of the Galaxies is the name commonly given of the war waged between Fred's Team and the evil Empire of Demonstar.It was a major global conflict lasting a century that involved the Milky Way Galaxy and the Andromeda Galaxy. It was fought between the Demonstar's Army and Fred's team. Dewmonstar, taking advantage of the absence of the Fred for most of the war, was able to wreak destruction and widespread loss of life on the other galaxies, including the infamous Genocide of the Splixsons.
The War was started by Demonstar, who wished to expand his Army into a world-wide empire, and spread what he saw as his army's prosperity to the rest of the world. The War was actually only supported by a very small amount of the army population; virtually only army elites actually wished to fight in it, and thus the Army Military Forces were made up of mostly conscripts with few volunteers.
The war ended several months after Fred, reappeared, due to a combination of his team and his allies' efforts, the group's destruction of the Air Fleet, Fred's victory over Demonstar, Azeroth, Necropolix, Inbenton, and Lord Zedd saved the world.
