Voltage

Voltage is the Omnitrix’s DNA sample of a Currentian from the planet Resyshok.

Appearance[]

Voltage is a weasel snake-like alien, with a yellow color skin that has a darker gold yellow color stripe from his nose down his back, and a white yellow color stripe from his lower jaw down to his chest. Voltage has a serpent-like body with arms under his upside down triangle shaped head, with a big teeth showing mouth, a nose with 3 nasals holes, 4 long antenna on the top center of his head that each have a energy port prong at the end and one at his tail, green eyes and the Omnitrix symbol is on its chest.

Powers and Abilities[]

Elasticity: Voltage's tail/body, and antenna can get even longer, and act like extension cords.
Electrical Detection: Its nose has the ability to sense electrical signals and currents in the air and ground.
Electricity Transformation: Able to turn its entire body into pure electricity bolts/energy, and this allows it to travel through currents of cables, wires, and all sorts of conductors that carry electricity.
Electrokinesis: Able to create, manipulate, breathe, and control electricity.
Energy Absorption: Can absorb mass amounts of energy, but most electrical based energies.
Enhanced Speed: It is quite fast when flying, but even faster when traveling through electrical currents.
Flight: Able to levitate and fly with all the static electricity it gives off in certain, if not most atmospheres.
Size Change: The more energy/electricity it absorbs, or when transforming into electricity, it can change its size.

Weaknesses and Faults[]

Grounded: If Voltage gets struck or stuck to the earthy terrain/ground that cannot carry electricity, it cannot travel far, and it can lose its own stored energy/electricity over time.
Mental State: The more electricity/energy Voltage absorbs, the more out of control its mind can become, wanting to be nothing but an energy sponge and keep feeding itself.
Survival: Voltage needs to feed on electricity to survive. If it is low, it will start to slow down and become calm enough to nap through anything.

Etymology[]

Voltage’s name comes from the same word, a voltage is an electromotive force or potential difference expressed in volts.

Currentian, the word "Current", and Resyshok, a fusion of the words "Resistance" and "Shock", are the components needed to create its Hero name "Voltage", those being "Current" and "Resistance".

Trivia, Gallery, and Credits[]

The original design was for a more humanoid looking electrical alien, but creative changes were made later on.

This alien is inspired by Experiment 221 "Sparky" from the franchise "Lilo and Stitch"

Its nose is based on an outlet for a standard 3 prong plug. The top 2 holes can smell positive and negative currents in the air, and the middle one can detect electrical signals that travel through the ground.
