Velox is a main character in the fanfiction Nemetrix Unleashed and started out as a scout in is packs army on the planet Vulpin, only answering to the pack's leader. As a scout he has honed his tracking and espionage skills to its upper most limits. To his pack he is a hero that help stop a war with the Vulpin Tortugan that lived near.
Appearance[]
Velox appears to be a large orange dog with no eyes, ears, or nose. He has stripes on his back and has sprouted a tail. His posture and movements are also somewhat apelike. His teeth are very defined and stick out of his mouth.
Personality[]
Velox is generally very calm. He meditates regularly in order to increase the capabilities of his kinesthetic sense and keep any base animal instincts at bay. However, there are times when 's base instincts leak out, causing him to snarl and bite people. In battle, Velox use a combination of his instincts and logic, liking to have a plan before letting loose. He is confident in his prowess to the point to come off arrogant.

Nemetrix: The Nemetrix has the ability to change the DNA of the user into various apex carnivores, each creature being the natural enemy and predator of an alien from the Omnitrix. This makes Velox a natural counter against sapient beings. Velox has the power to control his non sapient forms because of having foothold between both sapience and non sapience. Although, he can resist the pull he can't keep it up for long before he falls prey to his own instincts.
Biography[]
Velox grew up on Vulpin as an enthusiastic pup that would go out and explore the dangerous terrain with his pack mates with him at point. Without any training Velox was efficient at navigating through the Vulpin Tortugan's territories that littered the wasteland. One day, the pack leaders son had gotten himself captured. Velox and his packmates set it upon himself to save him.
After devising a keen plan, the team set off. First finding him by sent was a breeze. Then they stalked as Velox set the ground rules for his tactics. Second came the execution that went flawlessly. Bringing back his son alive the leader gave him the title of Valorant. Years later the son took up the role of leader and pointed Maul as his right hand.
This didn't last long as a ship landed in his territory. When he went to investigate he came face to face with a Plumber, the first in many cycles. The alien happened to be a Sonorosian the used his echolocation to point out Velox and using his powers of sound called out to him in his native language.
Now knowing the new comer was a friendly, Velox hesitantly greeted his guess. Magister Vryo explained that he come from an organization that helps the galaxy become a better place. Velox felt his words as he wants nothing more than to help his pack and if he can do it on a larger scale then he must try. Before he can accept his offer, Velox's pack caught up to him and viewing the Plumber as an enemy started shooting quails at him. Velox helped the magister make a hasty retreat with the young Vulpimancer as a passenger.
Days later, Velox joined the Plumber Academy and later graduated with honors. He caught the eye of Plumber scientists that wanting to conduct an experiment with the boy. What would happen if a semi sapient alien used the Nemetrix? So at first they conducted experiments in a controlled environment. Velox passed with flying colors and as so was free to move on to field experiments which he was free to go on about his duties as normal.
Etymology[]
Comes from Vulpes Velox, a species of fox, and also means swift.
