Shadow Heatblast is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a corrupted Pyronite from the planet Pyros.
Appearance[]Shadow Heatblast resembles a regular Pyronite but appears as though he’s been drained of life and fire, embodying a dark, eerie figure. His usual flames have been completely extinguished, leaving behind a charred exterior with only faint ember-like cracks glowing a subdued orange and red glow. These small glimmers give a ghostly reminder of the flames he once wielded. His body is now wrapped in a smoky black hue, as if shrouded in thick, dark soot. In contrast to his usual form’s muscular build, Shadow Heatblast is noticeably thin, with a slim, almost skeletal frame that appears weak and malnourished. His arms and legs are thinner and elongated, giving him an unsettling, shadowy presence. He stands in a slouched posture, his shoulders hunched, and his head often lowered slightly, as though weighed down by the burden of his frigid power. Small trails of blackened, wispy smoke occasionally drift from his cracked surface, dissipating into the cold air around him. His eyes are perhaps the most haunting feature - dim and almost lifeless, they radiate a faint, eerie blue glow that replaces his usual vibrant green. The color is not piercing but rather dulled, as if even the glow itself is struggling to survive in his icy presence. His gaze is distant and cold, with a hollow stare. Shadow Heatblast’s entire presence radiates an aura of intense cold, so powerful that frost forms on surfaces around him. His heat absorbtion abilities make him feel like a cold, isolated specter. Powers and Abilities[]Shadow Heatblast’s powers are an inversion of regular Heatblast's abilities, emerging as intense cold that drains the heat from his environment rather than radiating warmth. Instead of the constant fiery energy of a typical Pyronite, Shadow Heatblast moves like a cold specter, causing temperatures around him to drop sharply. His very presence creates an icy field, where air temperature, plant life, and even water are affected as he passes, freezing over or dying from the loss of warmth. This "aura of cold" makes him difficult to approach, as the chill intensifies the closer one gets, reaching an almost unbearable freeze up close. When Shadow Heatblast actively chooses to use his powers, he can directly siphon heat from specific sources, targeting objects or even living beings to drain their thermal energy. This focused siphoning can have dramatic effects, potentially freezing the target instantly as he pulls away all available warmth. This thermal vampirism works particularly well on any heat-generating materials, including machinery, electronics, or creatures, making him a potent threat in direct combat. Shadow Heatblast can summon and control cold fire, a unique type of flame that absorbs heat rather than emitts it. These ghostly flames appear dark, almost black with dim blue highlights. When unleashed, cold fire latches onto surfaces, spreading frost across anything it encounters and creating a freezing effect that lingers even after the flame itself has faded. Shadow Heatblast can hurl these freezing flames as projectiles or leave trails of cold fire behind him, creating obstacles or enhancing the reach of his cold aura. By channeling the absorbed thermal energy in a focused, controlled way, he can freeze the molecules in his surroundings to craft solid ice structures. These structures can be spikes, barriers, or something else, which he forms by lowering the temperature so drastically that molecules within the air or nearby substances solidify into ice. His ice creation is not limited to water; he can freeze any liquid or gaseous compound with enough focus, allowing him to adapt to his environment and construct icy obstacles from a range of materials. Weaknesses[]Since Shadow Heatblast lacks full control over his heat absorption, excessive or concentrated heat sources can overwhelm him. Exposure to extreme fire or high-energy heat attacks may cause him to destabilize, risking his ability to maintain the form safely. Additionally, his inability to stop absorbing heat makes Shadow Heatblast a potential hazard to his environment and allies. The continuous cooling effect risks harm to people and surroundings, limiting his effectiveness in populated areas and potentially causing unintended damage. Intense light or energy-based attacks can disrupt his heat absorption ability, weakening him significantly. These attacks have the potential to destabilize the form as well, potentially forcing him out of the transformation. Shadow Heatblast's natural state is unnaturally lifeless, leaving him inclined to remain passive and inactive, simply wandering. He relies on his automatic heat drain rather than exerting energy, leading to delayed reactions and a lack of drive that negatively impacts his combat effectiveness. After using this form, Ben often experiences a lingering emotional drain. While not outright depression, this effect manifests as a sense of profound sadness or emptiness, affecting his emotional state for a period even after returning to his human form. Unfortunately, Reo's entry was disqualified for using AI. Not only is AI content forbidden on the wiki, but it also violates the point of these contests. We admins would rather judge a human-made entry with subpar grammar and missing details than an AI-generated fleshed-out one with perfect grammar. I'm not gonna comment on the actual content of the entry because there's not really a point.

Shadow Ditto was made for the 2024 halloween Contest inner shadow.
Overview[]Shadow Ditto is a shadow variation of Ditto unlocked by Benjamin Tennyson during a fight on Amur phaetos.
Strength Overview[]
Shadow ditto can create illusions and shadow clones of the target and can split pieces of his gelatonous body to detached to create clones of himself. Shadow Ditto's sensory buds are his fins. He can also teleport anywhere in the surrounding area as apposed to digging which regular ditto does Weakness biography[]Shadow Ditto cannot teleport outside the radius of 50m and can be sensed easily by those who are able to Shadow Ditto's clones can disappear if his sensory buds are damaged or at the are which he couldn't sense far enough or blocked enough.

Cubemado wins second place. I like Shadow Ditto's powers and weaknesses, but I wish they were fleshed out more. I also wish Cubemado dived into why Shadow Ditto is the way he is and why he can do the things he can do, rather than just giving him new powers without explanation.

Shadow Heatblast is the Omnitrix's Shadow version of Heatblast Appearance[]Unlike his regular counterpart, Shadow Heatblast appears dried out with beige rocks and pale red body. However, while his eyes appeared hollowed out, there's lava pouring out of the eyes which drips out where he goes. There is also a constant stream of steam that emanates from Shadow Heatblast constantly. Shadow Heatblast wears the Omitrix symbol on his chest, with a dark purple color and a light purple symbol to mimic an eye Information about Shadow Forms[]After a clash with Hex gone wrong, Hex had managed to infect the Omnitrix with a "shadow virus" that managed to alter Ben's current aliens, messing up their standard powers and abilities, leaving Ben stuck until he can find a way to cure the Omnitrix. Powers and Abilities[]-Shadow Heatblast is able to use steam to his advantage, using it for stealth or to disorient enemies with blasts of steam. -Shadow Heatblast's mere presence can heat others up to the point of it being like they were near an actual volcano, let alone if someone were to try to touch Shadow Heatblast -Shadow Heatblast is able to drip some lava wherever he goes, although to a rather smaller degree. Weakness[]-Heatblast has pretty much lost almost all of his heat related powers, leading him to be more of a stealth alien or a distraction then most aliens -The lava he drips isn't controllable and can only releases small amounts of lava making it far from a viable attack. -Shadow Heatblast is now pretty sluggish, so he can't keep up with fast enemies Trivia[]-This alien was made for Fall Fanon Con 2024, and as such is free to use -This form is based on a scrapped form for the Reboot, called Shadow Forms. -Although there is a Shadow Heatblast in Ben 10: Heroes, that is more of a cosmetic thing -The backstory for Shadow Forms is based off an online game called Omnitrix Shadow, although the villain to infect the Omnitrix was changed from the Forever Knight to Hex |
Chocobon wins first place! While this entry also has the same drawbacks as Cubemado's, I find it more interesting overall. Taking Heatblast's fire powers, his main shtick, away should not work, and yet it does. I also like how creepy he looks.
