FANDOM

About last year to half a year ago (time flies), I made a blog about using good grammar, and fixing bad grammar. Although most users here use near-perfect grammar, or are improving, it seems that not much is done to fix the ones that are so bad that they are nearly illegible.

So, I propose that we have a new system. A template would be placed on pages with bad grammar, that would say in its heading "Sorry, I don't read alien." (like in the Delete template) The picture would be that bomb-thing from the episode Pier Pressure that Baz-El was stuck in (remember that?). It would say,

This page does not have very good grammar. Please fix it using the rules at [a grammar page I haven't created yet].

Since the bad-grammar-ers are usually new users, or users with English as a second language (although this is not always the case), I will create a new template for them on their talk page. It would say

Hello, and welcome to Ben 10 Fan Fiction, where anyone can write Ben 10 stories. Although we do not restrict many types of writing, we have noticed that you could improve your grammar and make your pages look better, and easier to understand. Please note that this is not against you directly as a person, and that we are glad to help you. Please use [that same page that I haven't made yet] to help improve.

So, what do you think? The text can be changed based on feedback.

UPDATE: I made the templates. One is a green box with white text, the other, being just a talk page message, is plain text with a section heading in it.

SorryIDontReadAlien

Sorry, I Don't Read Alien.
