DCBT + AU News

Hey all, little earlier than expected with this news but I figure now's a good time to spit it out.

Let's start off with this. At the end of this post, I will be going on something of a break. My original hope for Back in Action was to have it wrap by its 10-year anniversary (August 29), but being that that is absolutely no longer in the cards and hasn't been realistic for a while, I'm taking this opportunity now that Season 2 is done to just relax!

When we come back from this break in August, expect to see the start of Back in Action Season 3 along with a series preview for DC's Ben 10. Seventeen in College will be joining us possibly the same month depending on when exactly during the month Adrift premieres.

Onto per-series news!

DC's Ben 10[]

This one's light! I'm very excited for this series; the concept of DC and Ben 10 has been something I've always wanted to give my special touch to so I'm happy to finally do it.

Right now I'd like to confirm that three seasons are currently in the works. These will not be nearly the same length in episode count nor in episode length as Back in Action. I'd like to out some dream voice actors as well!

Gwen Tennyson - voice of Taissa Farmiga (the voice of Raven in the DC Animated Movie Universe, such as Justice League vs. the Teen Titans)
Max Tennyson - voice of Martin Sheen
Bruce Wayne/Batman - voice of Yuri Lowenthal (The Batman made me very confident in Yuri's natural voice as Bruce)
Vilgax - voice of Jason Marnocha (voice of Omen in Valorant!)

Bats and Supey will each be aged 20, hence the younger sounding actors they'll be having.

I look forward to revealing some more characters and their VAs in the future. For DCBT, I will also be including a "cast" section on every episode.

Lastly, I'd like to reveal 5 of Ben's original 10. (Right now I'm fairly set on a reboot-inspired system where Ben only has access to 10 aliens at a time)

BIG EDIT: The final name for the series is also DC's Hero of Heroes (will be initialed DCHoH)!

Back in Action[]

Next up, quick Back in Action news. So, duh, Season 3 is coming. But what does that mean? What are the titles of each episode? Well, here they are:

This season kicks off with the dramatic return of Future Ben forcing Gwen to hide the battered and beat Ben somewhere else in the universe. Now Ben has to figure out how to live where Gwen sent him - because there's no escape. There, he'll meet the being who took his girlfriend's life - Albedo - and learn he's not quite Albedo after all. Together, they will unlock new transformations - Majestic forms, a twist on Ultimates with a big caveat: the Omnitrix generally only has enough juice for about 10 seconds of these live-simulated evolutions.

Conclusion[]

Uh, well, yeah, onto that break. I'm battling COVID right now (just tested positive earlier today), so I'll probably keep well away from writing for at least the next week. I look forward to sharing more, including SiC episode titles, later this Summer. Another two things to expect this summer before Season 3:

Zennith, Creator of the Omnitrix - a crucial segue into Season 3 (which theoretically may premiere as late as right before Wrinkles)
The Back in Action Season 3 Premiere Special Event - more on that to come

Finally, announcing the next Short, the one that will unravel more about the fate of the Helpers, Elena Validus, and more - The Great Tram Robbery.
