Timewalker is a title used in Project Deca referring to those with specific powers over time and space.
Description[]
The exact qualifications for being a Timewalker are unknown, although certain details can be gleaned from the seen usage of the term. Professor Paradox appears to be the primary standard for a Timewalker, with those who have similar abilities to him being referred to as such.
In To Protect and Get Served, Xargon refers to Attai Zehn as only "half a Timewalker" upon seeing the use of the CataloGun damage his lifespan. Later in their fight, he further notes that Attai's inability to restart time after Xargon stops it as Clockwork disqualifies him as a "real Timewalker".
Origins[]
It appears that members of any species, given enough time, may be able to learn the powers of Timewalking simply by observing the inner workings of space-time. Species born with time manipulation abilities do not always fit the description of 'Timewalker', usually having one or two weaknesses that prevent them from having full mastery of the space-time continuum.
These shortcomings can be made up for in certain instances through the use of technology, as demonstrated by the Chronian Millennia developing Multitransference Suits that protect her from the degenerative effects Chronians usually experience when overusing their powers.
Timewalkers can be artificially engineered from normal members of a species with the use of certain alien technology. These manufactured Timewalkers have no need to explicitly learn how to warp space-time or use external technology to supplement their abilities, giving them certain advantages over other Timewalkers.
Known Timewalkers[]
- Professor Paradox
- Millennia
- Ubermensch
Trivia[]
- The term "Timewalker" originates from Eon's use of the phrase when referring to Professor Paradox in OV.
