Hello, BTFF Users and BBO fans alike!! I am Brywarrior, otherwise known as Deadpool or the Anti-Weeb. I am here to offer a job to anyone who wants it, but there are limited positions. The job you would be taking up would be as an assistant editor, assistant writer, or assistant director. I am currently the only editor/writer/director/artist for the series, and it would be nice to have a second or third set of eyes to pick out grammar/spelling mistakes that I may have missed, and to help witht he actual writing of the episodes. Should you wish to accept, you will have to fill out this application below either on this thread or on my Message Wall. Please note that you may apply for a Full Time, Half Time, or Part Time position. Full Time - Pretty much this is your main focus, I don't expect any of you to apply for this position, Half Time - You are active, and participate in Staff Meetings, but you have other engagements, and Part Time - You come to Staff Meetings when you can, you take up assignments when available, and we are not totally relying on you. Please also know that this only applies to Bryce Bowman: Devil's BountyItalicizied questions are optional, and failing to respond to them will not negatively affect my decision.

Please Bold your responses to each question.

    Application

    Projects

What are the projects that currently require your attention?

How dedicated are you to these projects?

Is there a chance of these being cancelled, should you sign up for this job?

Are there fans who would be dissappointed?

    Time

How much can I rely on you to get an assignment done on time?

Do you have the time to perform the task?

    Staff Meetings

I would like to start hosting weekly staff meetings, would you be able to attend these?

Would you be willing to participate in the staff meetings?

If I were to ask, could you prepare a report of your weekly progress?

Are you willing to question me in the event that you think something is wrong, or should be changed?

    Prior Skills

What other projects have you worked on?

What level of education have you acquired?

Is writing/editing your strong suit, or are you more acquainted with other skills?

How much have you improved over your time on BTFF?

    Deviation - Writers Only

I have a specific story that has to unfold in this Series, are you willing to follow that story?

If I ask you to write an episode, and give you a summary, will you be able to follow that summary as best to not distrupt the story?

Are you familiar enough with the series to maintain specific speech patterns of characters?

Are you familiar enough with the series to maintain the current writing format?

    Profanity

Are you willing to write profanity into the dialouge of the characters?

Are you observant enough to pick up on a character's patterns, and determine if the profanity fits the character and the situation?

For Writers Only - Are you willing to allow me/other editors full editorial authority on a dialouge, that may or may not include totally re-writing, in the event that I/we see it unfit?

Are you mature enough to not throw out profanity for the sake of profanity?

    Gore/Violence

This section is mostly for Writers, but Editors need to hear this too.

Are you willing/able to write violence and/or gore into an episode?

Are you observant enough to realize when enough is enough?

Are you familiar enough with the series to keep the level of violence on par with the rest of the series?

    Editorial Authority - Editors Only

In the event of a Writer incorrectly writing something into an episode, that doens't fit, are you willing to edit it out, regardless of your relationship to the Writer?

Are you willing to allow me final word on all Editorial decisions?

If I go back and edit something that you changed, are you going to become angry or frustrated with me/another editor and allow that to influence our relationship?

    Directors Only

The Directors are essentially just idea providers. As such, are you willing to allow your ideas for specific episodes to be swept under the bus if they do not agree with the flow of the whole story?

If I was to ask you for an idea (for a filler episode), would you be able to provide a coherent plot that fits in with the surrounding episodes to ensure a "complete" Season and Series?

In the case that I deny the use of an idea from you, but end up using a very similar one in a later season, are you willing to accept that I may not realize where the idea came from and, thus, refrain from being frustrated with me?

In the event that something similar to the above scenario occurs, but with another Director bringing up the plot, are you willing to calmly confront myself and the other director about the incident?

    Chain of Command

Are you mature enough to recognize the Chain of Command, and respond appropriately to myself and higher ups?

Are you willing to allow myself or another editor to change something you've written, in the event that we see it fit?

If you are not performing your tasks, are you mature enough to calmly accept termination, if it comes to that point?

Are you mature enough to cease from bad-mouthing Brywarrior Studios and all related elements?

Should I not give you the required credit for your part in an episode, are you willing to confront me calmly to resolve the issue?

    Signature

If you accept, copy the Application above into a reply and post your responses next to the question in Bold, and sign your signature (~~~~) to the bottom, then wait for my review.

Note: You are not required to meet ALL the terms specified. If I feel that you have enough qualifications, whether or not you have answered my "preferred" answer to these questions, I am inclined to "hire" you.

Thank you, and have a wonderful day!

    • Projects

What are the projects that currently require your attention?

Ben 23: Rebooted and Luke 10: Omega Alien .

How dedicated are you to these projects?

      On a scale from 1 to 10? 1 being not dedicated, and 10 being very dedicated. Ben 23 is a 7. Luke 10 is a 5.

Is there a chance of these being cancelled, should you sign up for this job?

I have no intention of canceling either series

Are there fans who would be dissappointed?

      A few.

      Time

How much can I rely on you to get an assignment done on time?

I'm confident that I write fast and can get the job done on time and get it done well.

Do you have the time to perform the task?

I'm free weekdays. Every two months or so I go camping on weekends.

      Staff Meetings

I would like to start hosting weekly staff meetings, would you be able to attend these?

Yes, I haven't been on chat in months. It's kinda sad.

Would you be willing to participate in the staff meetings?

Sure. I love brainstorming ideas with other people and throwing the idea ball back and forth. Discussion is my favorite pass time.

If I were to ask, could you prepare a report of your weekly progress?

      Sure, I guess.

Are you willing to question me in the event that you think something is wrong, or should be changed?

      Yes.

      Prior Skills

What other projects have you worked on?

I worked on the OG Ben 23. I worked for POTO (pre-reboot) briefly

What level of education have you acquired?

      I don't think I understand this question. I'm in 9th grade going into 10th.

Is writing/editing your strong suit, or are you more acquainted with other skills?

      I'm no artist.

How much have you improved over your time on BTFF?

Since 2012 when I joined I have learned a great deal from analyzing other fanfics, such as BBO, John Smith 10, POTO, Fred 40, etc.

      Deviation - Writers Only

      I am.

If I ask you to write an episode, and give you a summary, will you be able to follow that summary as best to not distrupt the story?

That is what I do for my episodes. I write a a 20 to 30 words summary and write the episode from there.

Are you familiar enough with the series to maintain specific speech patterns of characters?

I've read every episode of this series. If I am ever stuck or unsure I'll glance at a previous episode and try to glean the correct style from there.

Are you familiar enough with the series to maintain the current writing format?

As above. I have read all the episodes and I can just re-read an older episode to fix it.

      Profanity

Are you willing to write profanity into the dialouge of the characters?

I am willing. I normally don't so more readers can enjoy my stuff.

Are you observant enough to pick up on a character's patterns, and determine if the profanity fits the character and the situation?

I can percieve character development and change dialogue and behavior accordingly.

For Writers Only - Are you willing to allow me/other editors full editorial authority on a dialouge, that may or may not include totally re-writing, in the event that I/we see it unfit?

      I would not mind.

Are you mature enough to not throw out profanity for the sake of profanity?

      Yes.

      Gore/Violence

This section is mostly for Writers, but Editors need to hear this too.

Are you willing/able to write violence and/or gore into an episode?

      Yes

Are you observant enough to realize when enough is enough?

Too much gore and repetitive violence gets bland and boring after a while, just by reading it over I'll know.

Are you familiar enough with the series to keep the level of violence on par with the rest of the series?

Yes. I have read every episode.

Editorial Authority - Editors Only (not an editor)

In the event of a Writer incorrectly writing something into an episode, that doens't fit, are you willing to edit it out, regardless of your relationship to the Writer?

Are you willing to allow me final word on all Editorial decisions?

      Chain of Command

Are you mature enough to recognize the Chain of Command, and respond appropriately to myself and higher ups?

      Yes, sir.

Are you willing to allow myself or another editor to change something you've written, in the event that we see it fit?

      Yes.

If you are not performing your tasks, are you mature enough to calmly accept termination, if it comes to that point?

I sincerely hope it doesn't come to that but, yes.

Are you mature enough to cease from bad-mouthing Brywarrior Studios, and all related elements?

I'd still praise after being fired. It is too good to badmouth.

Should I not give you the required credit for your part in an episode, are you willing to confront me calmly to resolve the issue?

Assuming I cared about wether or not I got credit I would undoubtly do so in a calm manner.

(Not sure if I am doing the signature right...here goes)

      Sincerely, Diamondface

Your response didn't really matter here (which is why it's italicized), I just don't want to be "hiring" elementary schoolers.

And the signature thing doesn't really matter either, it just makes the application look more realistic, idk.
