The Ultimate Heist is the thirty-eighth episode of Omniverse: At Night.
Plot[]
The episode begins a warehouse located further down the depths of Bellwood, several Violet Offender crooks had exploded the gates in order to get a better look as to what was inside. There, we are revealed to Otto, who commands the crooks to steal as much Taydenite that they could get their hands on. They are suddenly halted by a guard, who gets shot by the crooks who had themselves a laser gun. The guard, thought to be presumed dead, gets up a little while after Otto and the crooks flee the scene.
The next scene opens to a car chase with Ben and Rook trying to catch up to a rogue Fistrick, who had managed to break out of Plumber HQ prison, who had Corvo, Hoodlum and Fistrick's unnamed thug shooting lasers at the Proto-TRUK. Ben wishes that they could stop since they had been like this all night, as he transforms into Eye Guy, lowering the window so he could fire back. One of Eye Guy's laser beams successfully pops a tire, as the car would end up tumbling, but that didn't stop Fistrick and his crooks from jumping out of the totalled vehicle. Fistrick and the crooks attempt to flee the scene, but Rook shoots out a net with his Proto-Tool, successfully trapping them all in said net.
Ben demands to know Fistrick's schemes as he had grown tired of having to deal with his nonsense. Unable to follow through with Ben's command, Fistrick instead gives Ben and Rook a hint, a hint to vague that Ben couldn't figure out what he had said. Rook then requests the Plumbers to take Fistrick and his crooks into custody. Within an instant, the Plumbers arrive, as Ben would ask Rook if he wanted to hang at Burger Shack. Rook expresses his discontent towards Chili Fries, but wishes to join him anyway, suggesting he'd eat anything else from the Burger Shack menu.
A little timeskip occurrs as Ben and Rook were inside Burger Shack, where they bump into Julie Yamamoto and Hervé, as Julie was delighted to see Ben again. Julie asks Ben is he ever wanted to come watch her tennis matches, as Ben turns down the offer, reminding her that he is a hero, and can't be in two places at once. Julie reminds him of the time where he confessed that he went to watch Sumo Slammers during her match, as Ben backtracked, telling her that he's just not interested in watching her perform in her tennis matches anymore. As soon as Julie and her boyfriend take their orders, Ben and Rook walk over to the counter, only to get interrupted by a hooded figure, who seemed to have been wearing Ben's white and green hoodie. Ben doesn't seem to question it since he believes that his hoodie could've been replicated as merchandise, much like Jimmy Jones's official replica jacket. As soon as the hooded figure finished ordering, and eventually grabbing his meal, they leave the scene by exiting the place, as the camera pans to Albedo pulling down his hood, thanking Ben for not questioning his motives at all, as he'd grab a fry before eating it.
The camera cuts back to Ben and Rook in Burger Shack, as Ben was eating his chili fries, while Rook was trying out their burgers. Ben asks Rook about the burgers, as Rook claims that he likes them, claiming to like the ketchup they put in the burgers, as well as the cheese. With Ben and Rook thinking nothing else had gone on, Ben receives a call from Max, asking why he broke Fistrick from his cell, as Ben would correct him, telling him that he had been in Burger Shack this entire time.
The scene transitions to inside the Plumber HQ prison hall, as both Albedo and Otto show up, making Fistrick and his crooks think that Albedo was Ben. Albedo corrects his mistake, as he would use Otto as a way to hack into the cells' code, freeing them from the clutches of the Plumbers, as Albedo would plan a fully fleshed out heist between the group. As soon as they all escape Plumber HQ, Albedo subdues Magister Patelliday who tried catching them. It is seen there, that seconds after Albedo and his group had left the scene, Ben arrives as Astrodactyl, transforming back, hurrying inside. Max finds Ben and questions his decisions, only for Ben having to remind him that it wasn't him. It only took a quick realisation that Albedo was behind the jail break. Disgusted at how Albedo has gotten so low as to disguise himself as him, Ben transforms into Fasttrack, informing Max that he'll find them all and attempt to bring them back to him, as he departs from the HQ.
The scene cuts to the Bellwood Museum, as Albedo would slam open the doors as Humungosaur, before reverting back to his human form. Albedo, and eventually the rest, would start stealing things that were valuable, such as the Orb of Pumapunku. Unknown of its origin, Fistrick snatches it off Albedo and puts it in a bag. With Otto and the rest finding other artifacts and putting them in bags, they all are ambushed by Ben (who had transformed into Feedback) and Rook, as Ben would finally confirm that Albedo was the one they had bumped into at Burger Shack. Albedo congratulates Ben for stating the obvious, as he would automatically transform into Brainstorm via the stabilizer. The fight had just begun.
The Cerebrocrustacean dashes towards the Conductoid as he would began shooting red electric beams that Feedback successfully absorbs, redirecting at Albedo as Negative Brainstorm, only for the crab alien to dodge by creating an electric force field. As Albedo's Cerebrocrustacean transformation lunges at Feedback before switching to Armodrillo, the camera shifts to Rook using his Proto-Tool as a bow to shoot rods of energy at Fistrick and his crooks, with Otto commanding the Violet Offenders to pass the items to someone else, who had been the mastermind to the operation. With the Talpaedan smacking the Conductoid into a wall, Feedback transforms back into Ben, complaining about Albedo blaming him for what happened in Double or Nothing, telling him that it was Hugh's fault. Negative Armodrillo didn't see reason, resulting in Ben transforming into Crashhopper. The Orthopterran springs off of Armodrillo, forming a rippled wave that sends Armodrillo flying, while Crashhopper grabs onto something to maintain balance. He then sees Otto and the Violet Offenders escaping, as he tells Rook to catch them, while he deals with Fistrick and his crooks. But as soon as Crashhopper could spring down and attack Fistrick's group, Crashhopper is frozen by Albedo as Arctiguana, as he reverts back to his human form. Albedo mocks Ben for his cowardice as he would leave with Fistrick and his crooks, as Rook would run over to Ben (who is still Crashhopper) and break him free from the ice. Crashhopper then transforms back into Ben, wishing to continue this secretly, so they don't find out they have spied on them.
The scene transitions to a warehouse in Undertown as Albedo puts on the Ben disguise and asks Argit if his warehouse is open for use, since he has some business to attend to. With Argit accepting "Ben"'s request. Albedo transforms into Wildvine and traps him by wrapping him up against a wall, before reverting to his human form, telling the group to get inside. There, Inspector 13 is revealed, as he asks Albedo and the group to give him the stolen goods in exchange of the Polymorphic Crystal that Albedo wishes to get his hands on. As soon as Albedo is given the crystal, Albedo inserts it inside his stabilizer, which transforms into the Ultimatrix. Unbeknownst to them, Rook could be seen on top of the warehouse, as well as Ben's Merlinisapien transformation dubbed Chamalien, as Rook would examine the area. Eventually, Rook gives Ben the task to crawl down and give them a surprise attack, as Ben does as followed, crawling down (whilst still Chamalien) before turning intangible to prevent from being seen. With Albedo achieving ultimate power, Chamalien chimes in as he turns tangible, as well as having Rook jump down. Chamalien would transform back, as Albedo tells him that it is too late to stop him now, as Albedo selects the hologram of Big Chill and transform into the Necrofriggian, before slamming the symbol as he evolved into Ultimate Big Chill.
The Evolved Necrofriggian swoops over to Ben as he picks him up and chucks him further down the warehouse, freezing Rook and everyone else in his ice flames. Ben transforms into Heatblast as he throws fireballs at the red Necrofriggian, who turns intangible to prevent from being hit. Annoyed at Albedo's lack of fighting skills, Heatblast would free Rook by flying over to him and melting the ice, as Rook would fire a taser that can touch Necrofriggians as Ultimate Big Chill is electrocuted, howling in pain before transforming back. Heatblast quick changes into Snare-oh as Albedo would transform into Echo Echo, before evolving into his ultimate form. Snare-oh manages to successfully trap the evolved Sonorosian as Ultimate Echo Echo would try and break free, to no avail. Rook them chimes in as he tases him once more, seemingly weakening Albedo to the point he transforms back. The fight was over.
The scene transitions to the Plumbers taking Otto, the Violet Offenders, and Fistrick's gang into custody as Albedo was kept contained by Magister Patelliday. As Ben and Rook watch the Plumbers arresting everyone, they leave the scene also, heading to Burger Shack once again, ending the episode with Argit asking for anyone to help free him from the vines made from the Florauna.
