The Tenth Predator is the tenth episode of Ben 10: Omniorigins, as well as the tenth episode of the first season.
Plot[]
A large warship flies in outer space, with a targeting system aiming at Earth. A large Vaxasaurian appears and questions his crew as to whether they have found it. Looking at the screen, a crewmember detects a blinking signal, revealing itself to be the Omnitrix. The Vaxasaurian, Apex, questions someone in the darkness as to whether the Omnitrix has found a wielder, the individual confirms it, revealing himself to be Nottlug.
At a train station, Ben and Stuart arrive in Bellwood, having returned from their brief trip with some supplies. Stuart decides to return to the Fictioverse, while Ben chooses to rest at home, transforming into Powerpipe and taking Stuart and his supplies to the Fictioverse before arriving at home. Upon arriving at home, Powerpipe prepares a meal for himself before a lightbulb breaks. Intending to change it, Powerpipe touches it, which mysteriously causes it to light up, surprising him.
In the back room, Stuart is working on a project with the supplies he recently bought. As he works on it, someone enters the Fictioverse, causing Stuart to exit the back room and try to explain to the individual that the store is closed. The individual looks at Stuart before he looks in shock. The next day, Ben arrives at the Fictioverse for work, only to find it was strangely closed all day. Entering the store, everything seemed normal, making Ben feel uneasy. Running to the back room, he sees strange equipment all over, before checking the security footage. On the footage seen, Ben sees Stuart being held by the neck and sprayed with a gas knocking him out before being knocked out.
Running to the roof, Ben activates the Omnitrix and transforms into Bombadrag, flying off to find Stuart. As he increases his attitude, he hits his head on something, looking to see there is nothing in the sky. Wondering if it’s some form of cloaking device, Bombadrag flies around firing bullets in the sky, confirming his suspicions as the bullets are repelled. Needing to investigate this further, Bombadrag transforms into Grapplight, crawling in the invisible object in the sky. Within a large spaceship, Stuart awakens to find himself in a cage surrounded by aliens. Nottlug appears and re-introduces himself to Stuart, reminding the latter of his last defeat and how Stuart helped Ben in defeating him.
Stuart claims that Ben will find him and defeat them, but Apex appears and claims that they already know that. Looking outside, everyone sees Grapplight swinging into the glass (which he unsuccessfully tried to break several times) and entering. Nottulg warns Apex about what Ben is capable of, but he just shrugs it off, and rushes to battle Grapplight. Grapplight fires some globules but they barely hold down Apex, forcing him to jump onto the latter and attempt to restrain him. After biting Apex, the latter becomes annoyed and throws Grapplight, causing him to land in some of his globule slime, covering his eyes. Blinded, Grapplight turns into Meltter and burns of the slime before running towards Apex. Before he could even battle, the Omnitrix times out and turns Meltter back into Ben. Apex just grins and sprays Ben with a gas, knocking him out.
Ben reawakens to find himself in a cage next to Stuart’s, with the Omnitrix in shackles.Apex introduces himself as a bounty hunter, who was hired to acquire the Omnitrix through any means necessary. With Nottulg as a guide, Apex discovered the Omnitrix’s location and intends to remove it from Ben. Ben attempts to break free, but Apex tells him that even if he could activate the Omnitrix, it would be ready to use yet due to Ben misusing the device’s quick-change feature. Confident at their victory, the two villains leave their prisoners behind. Alone, Ben questions Stuart as to how he was captured, in which he states that Apex wore some form of mask that made him look like a human. A guard soon enters and to their surprise, it frees them and disarms the Omnitrix’s lock. Asking why the guard is helping them, he just says “You’ll find out soon enough” and leaves.
The duo attempts to chase after the guard, only to find him gone and a mask on the ground. Looking around, Ben gets an idea and prepares the Omnitrix for battle despite it’s inactivity, while Stuart looks at the mask in his hand. On the ship, Apex prepares the ship to leave Earth, only to hear a commotion happening on the other side, prompting him to investigate. Before he does, a guard is thrown out the door by Anatacles who uses his tentacles to attack all the incoming guards. Apex approaches him and begins to push him down, yet Anatacles manages to hold his ground and uses the Omnitrix to turn him into Bombadrag again, ramming Apex into a wall. As the two grapple, a guard suddenly attacks another guard and steals his blaster before getting to the control panel, managing to steer the ship sideways and tilt it.
As Bombadrag pins down Apex, he flies up seconds before Apex grabs onto him again, prompting Bombadrag to turn into Hammerhack and have them fall down, though Hammerhack’s spines enable him to stick to a wall. While he climbs to the guard -revealing himself to be Stuart with the mask-, Hammerhack states that he has an idea and begins rotating the Omnitrix, deactivating it. As the duo wait, Nottulg manages to get to the control panel and throws them down to Apex while simultaneously realigning the ship. Captured by Apex, he claims that he used the gas because he doesn’t want to harm the duo, but they forced him to break that rule. Despite Stuart attempting to shoot Apex, the duo ultimately escape when Ben shines his phone light into Apex’s eyes. Using this opportunity, Ben transforms into Powerpipe and fires lime liquid from his hands, damaging Apex’s skin.
Stuart is surprised at this, and Powerpipe just states that he just learned about it, and rushes to Apex before transforming into Constrictaconda and binding him. Like before, Apex successfully escapes his binds and grabs Constrictaconda, though he suddenly turns into Meltter and escapes while Apex screams in pain. Meltter then turns into Grapplight and swings around Apex before turning into Constrictaconda again, bouncing around the room. Using the momentum, Constricatconda suddenly turns into Transmelt and punches Apex with a diamond-hard fist, seconds before he turns into Slamurai and sits on Apex, creating a shockwave. Running to Stuart who is being shot at by guards, Slamurai deflects all their shots before turning into Anatacles and shielding Stuart. Looking at a recovering Apex, Anatacles rushes towards him and turns into Bombadrag and rams him.
Bombadrag continues to push a struggling Apex while turning into Slamurai, Transmelt, Powerpipe, Hammerhack and finally Meltter, who manages to burn Apex. Nottlug prepares the ship, but gets knocked out by Stuart, who diverts the ship away from Earth and prepares its journey before destroying the controls. With Apex weakened, Meltter uses this oppurtunity to create a hole in the floor in which he and Stuart jump through. The ship soon leaves as the duo fall down to Earth, with Meltter hoping he gets an alien that flies, only to turn into Thornhenge, much to his dismay. As Thornhenge and Stuart get closer to the Earth, the former gets an idea and asks the latter to grab onto him. After he does, Thornhenge fires a barrage of spikes onto the ground below, slowing them down until they safely land.
Upon reaching the ground, Thornhenge turns back into Ben. Stuart is impressed with how Ben managed to find a way to allow the Omnitrix to transform him into multiple aliens at once. Ben just feels tired, and the duo look to the sky knowing that Apex and Nottulg would be back for them someday.

- This episode parodies events in the Classic Continuity episode, Secrets, which involves an alien coming to Earth and nearly succeeding in capturing Ben, as well as all of Ben's current aliens being featured.
- Ben using the Omnitrix's Gattling mode to randomly turn him into aliens are based of the episodes Back With A Vengeance, The Frogs of War Part 1 and Omni-Tricked in the canon franchise.
- When Bombadrag hits his head on Apex's invisible ship, it is similar to when Ben as Astrodactyl hit his head in the sky in the Ben 10: Omniverse episode, A Fistful of Brains.
- Slamurai deflecting all the blasts is based of the scene in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, where Deadpool succeeded in slicing all the bullets being fired at him.
- Before being sent away from Earth, Apex says "I'll get you next time, Tennyson!". This is based of Dr. Claw's catchphrase at the end of every episode of Inspector Gadget ("I'll get you next time, Gadget!").
Trivia[]
- This is the first episode where all 10 of Ben's current aliens appear in.
- The episode's name also alludes to this, as it is the tenth episode of the series featuring the tenth villain Ben has faced.
- This episode apparently takes place a month after Ten in One, as Ben as Thornhenge says "Thornhenge!? It's been a month!".
- Nottulg also mentions the events of the aforementioned episode, which also makes him the first returning villain from a previous episode.
- This is also the first episode since his debut in which Thornhenge was used in.
- Most of Ben's aliens appear at least twice in this episode, with Bombadrag, Meltter and Powerpipe appearing three times.
- Thornhenge is the only alien to only appear once in this episode.
- Ironically, Thornhenge was the first alien Ben ever turned into. But in this episode, he was the last alien used.
