The Stalker is the sixth episode of Kalus 10.

Plot[]

Kalus is about to leave the house when his mother tells him to be careful. He tells her to stop fussing and that he’ll be fine. When he leaves he gets a call from Jacob, who asks how he is. Kalus tells him ever since his mother found out his identity she’s been fussing over him non-stop. Jacob laughs and says that all mothers are like that, but as Kalus is walking through the street he sees a car driving down the street with a man inside screaming about his brakes not working. Kalus tells Jacob he’ll call him back and dives into an alley, activating the omnitrix.

He attempts to turn into Fasttrack but instead becomes an alien he’s never been before. He wonders what he’s supposed to be and decides any alien is better than none so he runs out of the alley but trips due to his top heavy body and when he does he curls into a ball, rolling into a building. He realises he can catch up with the car like this so he rolls after it, but due to not being used to it he rolls all over the place, hitting a fire hydrant and several cars by accident as he struggles to roll straight. He sees the car ahead and tries to overtake it but cars keep coming in the other direction so he is forced to take the path, almost running people over. He complains that he might kill someone but manages to jump in front of the car, which hits his heavy body and stops. He sighs in relief before he sees all the damage he caused.

Later Will Harangue is doing a report on the damage that was done, showing footage someone caught of Cannonbolt rolling down the street and causing it. Kalus’s mother sees the report and asks him what happened. He replies that he’s still getting used to his aliens but she tells him if he keeps causing this much trouble he can’t continue transforming. Kalus protests that it’s his job to make sure he doesn’t hurt people but she points out he did so by endangering others, which he realises and apologises for.

Meanwhile Harangue finishes the report and when the camera cuts he gets up and states he’s really stressed with all the alien business recently. He goes into an elevator and goes to an underground level where he steps out and is greeted by a man called Oliver, who shows holograms all Kalus’s first 9 aliens on screen. He tells him that his machine is almost ready and they just need to analyse the recent 10th alien. Harangue says they needn’t bother, especially since he thinks the machine is strong enough without the analysis of the 10th alien’s abilities. Then the machine is shown to be a circular robot on four spider-like legs.

Kalus and Jacob are at school, with Jacob asking Kalus if he’s named the newest alien yet, but Kalus doesn’t intend to use that alien anymore since it caused so much trouble. Jacob doesn’t say anything and instead asks about his mother, who Kalus says warned him not to do any more severe damage or she’ll ban him from using the omnitrix anymore. Jacob points out she can’t tell him what to do while he wields the strongest device on earth but Kalus points out she’s his mother. When they leave the school building they see police cars drive past. Kalus doesn’t think much of it, but when he sees armoured vehicles following behind he realises something big is happening so he decides to follow. He runs behind the school building then with no one watching he turns into Fasttrack and gives chase.

In the city, Harangue’s robot is causing immense damage. The police turn up and they aim their guns, with the chief telling the robot to state its business on earth. However it responds by revealing missiles hidden in its underbody and fires them, destroying the cars. Some armoured tanks appear and begin shooting, causing a cloud of smoke to appear. However the robot emerges from it and shoots them too, destroying them.

At this moment Fasttrack appears and races towards the robot. It stabs one of its legs into the ground, so Fasttrack has to skid to a halt to stop himself running into it. It goes to hit him with another leg but he leaps backwards to avoid it. He races at it but the drone sprays an adhesive that Fasttrack gets caught it and is unable to escape from. As he tries to get free the robot approaches and raises one of its legs to stab it down on Fasttrack, but he cleverly moves to the right place quick enough to make it hit the adhesive instead, getting it stuck as well. It releases a gas from its body that melts the adhesive, setting its leg free but accidentally setting Fasttrack free as well. He races up its leg and punches the robot but ends up hurting his own fist against the steel body. It spins its legs round incredibly quickly, throwing Fasttrack off. He is flung into an alley where he reverts. The robot approaches the alley while Kalus sits inside, desperate for the omnitrix to recharge in time, but the robot begins chasing something else. Kalus runs out of the alley as Jacob manages to finally catch up. They see the robot chasing a guy on a skateboard and Kalus wonders why, but Jacob points out the guy’s shirt has a similar pattern to Kalus’s omnitrix, so it’s probably been built to attack the omnitrix. They give chase, knowing the robot will end up hurting the skater if they don’t stop it.

The skater screams as he tries to escape from the robot but it manages to gain on him. It reveals a laser turret on top of its head and releases a blast at the skater, but before it can hit him Big Chill appears and grabs him, pulling him aside in time. He tells the robot to come for him and it picks up his omnitrix signal so it fires a laser, which passes through Big Chill’s body. He then releases his ice breath and begins to freeze the robot, encasing it completely in ice. He believes he’s won and turns around to leave but the robot then releases heat from its body, melting the ice and allowing it to get free. Big Chill decides to lead it away from the crowds so he flies away, with it giving chase. He freezes its legs every so often to slow it down, but only temporarily. He wonders how to beat something that seems to have a counter to his attacks and wonders if Silas built it. He then comes to a less populated part of the city with more open areas for him to fight and he lands, hiding behind a tree. He gets an idea and gets out his phone, taking a picture of the omnitrix on his wrist. He throws the phone as far as he can, knowing he’ll probably regret it, and the robot sees it, following it. It sees the omnitrix picture on the phone and blasts it, destroying it. Thinking its mission is complete it leaves, with Kalus managing to slip away unnoticed.

Will Harangue is watching the footage of the battle and watches as the robot destroys a phone instead of the actual omnitrix, to his rage. He turns to Oliver and asks what happened, and Oliver explains the robot was designed to destroy the omnitrix and was just following its program. Harangue asks him to make a few adjustments, wanting to pilot the robot himself.

Mrs Stone watches the vast damage done to the city from Kalus and the robot’s battle on TV and when he enters the door she’s glad he’s safe, but also angry that he immediately went against what he said and caused unintentional damage. Kalus protests that the robot caused most of it and that he tried to lead it away from the city, but she doesn’t want to hear it and grounds him.

Jacob is talking to Kalus on the phone, and Kalus tells him to keep him updated on any more robot or alien attacks. Jacob asks if Kalus can just sneak out but Kalus points out his mother would find a way of knowing. Jacob asks if he can help but Kalus tells him he’ll be fine.

In Harangue’s bunker, Oliver shows Harangue a control console that will allow him to remotely control the robot and see whatever it sees through a monitor. Harangue decides to take it for a ‘test run’ and activates it.

In the city Jacob is at Mr Smoothy’s talking to Kalus again when he feels the ground shake and sees the robot storm past. He tells Kalus and Kalus ends the call. He opens his window but his mother enters at that moment and tells him he’s not going anywhere. He claims that Bellwood is in danger and they argue until Kalus decides to just rebel against her and turns into Armodrillo, smashing through the wall. He tells her he’ll fix it later and charges down the street. She watches and wonders if she should follow.

The robot shoots missiles at several cars, causing immense damage. Jacob wonders where Kalus is and at that moment the ground shakes and out comes Armodrillo, jumping up and uppercutting the robot, sending it staggering backwards. He charges and grabs it by one of its legs, throwing it round in a circle before releasing it, launching it into the air. It lands with a crash but gets up immediately. Then Harangue’s face appears on the screen and he introduces himself. He explains that this robot is the Stalker and it was specifically designed to counter all of the alien threats it had scanned. Armodrillo digs underground, but the drone spins its legs to also dig underground, and seconds later Armodrillo is thrown from the hole and lands while the Stalker climbs out after him. He hears the omnitrix start to beep so he digs back underground and reverts. The Stalker follows but when it does Kalus crawls out of the hole, unseen by anyone. He runs into Mr Smoothy’s and pulls Jacob with him and asks Jacob what they should do. Jacob suggests using the rolling alien but Kalus doesn’t want to since he still doesn’t know how to use it properly. The omnitrix recharges and, with the Mr Smoothy’s being evacuated due to the attack, he is free to transform and turns into Shocksquatch. He emerges and fights the Stalker, shooting electricity at it, but it avoids the attack and fires a web-like material that wraps around Shocksquatch. He tries to use his electricity to escape but can’t and Harangue explains that the material was built as an insulator.

A montage is shown of Kalus using his aliens to battle the Stalker: Goop tries to fight it but it shoots a beam that disables his anti-gravity projector; Grey Matter tries to fight but it uses its large legs to act as barriers to stop him getting close to it; Upgrade merges with it but it releases an electrical charge that makes Upgrade fall to the ground; Ripjaws tries to attack but it uses a flamethrower to increase the temperature to the point where he’s on the ground suffocating; Lodestar tries to fight it but it is immune to his magnetism. Kalus complains that he has no aliens left to use but Jacob reminds him of the rolling alien. Knowing he has no other choice now, Kalus turns into the rolling alien and rolls towards Harangue, starting to get used to rolling in a straight line. The Stalker is unable to locate the omnitrix due to it being covered by Cannonbolt’s outer shell and it pauses, allowing Cannonbolt to roll into it, knocking it over while he sits on top of it. It covers its body in an electrical charge but he endures the pain and uses his claws to tear open the robot’s shell, then he leaps inside and begins to bounce around, destroying the robot from the inside. Harangue cries out as his transmission is cut and seconds later Cannonbolt bursts from the Stalker’s head, causing it to deactivate and collapse. Kalus’s mother appears in her car, having just seen the incident. She follows Kalus to the back of Mr Smoothy’s where he reverts and she congratulates him for managing to defeat the enemy, and apologises for being too harsh, but he also apologises for not taking others into consideration when he’s battling. Jacob watches as they make up then wonders what they should do with the robot.

Harangue is at the underground facility, yelling at Oliver in frustration, but then they hear a commotion outside so they go to the ground floor and run out, seeing the Stalker on top of Harangue’s car.
