Plot[]
Several explosions blow out of an alleyway, disrupting an otherwise normal city day. Several citizens run away from the chaos, while several cops quickly throw down barriers to prevent those innocents from getting caught up in the mess. After a second explosion rings out, a buff human man is tossed out of the alleyway into one of the barriers, shattering it under his weight. He gets up with a grunt, brushing some wood splinters off his coat and waving off one of the cops advancing to help him.
He cracks his knuckles and steps back into the alleyway, a dim shadow covering the broken wall and other rubble covering the ground. In one corner his younger sister lays against a particularly large piece of rubble, catching her breath. The buff figure frowns slightly as he sees her black 'tactical' suit, his older brother habits kicking in but pushing it to the side for now. He calmly looks around for his enemy, before pausing in the middle of his step. The ground begins to rumble, cracking below him.
"Watch out George!" the young woman yells, quickly rising to her feet before grunting, the injury at her side causing her some pain.
George gives his sister a frown at her reckless behavior before leaping into the air, avoiding his enemy bursting from the ground. Taking the form of a large metal crab-like figure, Kraab looked up at George before pointing and firing a laser from his claw. A small explosion rang out, sending George flying into a wall with a grunt. Laughing at the seemingly defeated human, Kraab quickly steps over his prone form, drawing the sword in his hand.
"Any last words, human?" Kraab laughs, "Your hunt ends here."
As he raises the short blade over his head, he laughs again before yelping in pain as the blade is shot out of his hand. Turning around to look at the young woman, Kraab roars in irritation as several more las-pistol shots rain into him. Holding his claw in front of him, Kraab slowly walked towards the young woman, picking up his dropped sword on the way. About halfway there the young woman stops firing, cursing under her breath as she is forced to reload her pistols.
"Not so high and mighty now, little girl." Kraab laughs as he readies to charge the young woman, only to be stopped by a hand on his shoulder.
"I said stay down, Eve." George states, before grabbing Kraab at his crotch as well as his head and slamming his back down on his knee, causing something deep within him to crack and fall onto the ground. George looks at Eve with a very measured look. "Now let us get our reward."

George and Eve step into a large concrete building with two large double doors. Standing at the edges are two armored humanoids, guns held across their chest. Eve is patched up, her tactical suit having a bandage wrapping around her waist where she was injured. Meanwhile George has a tied up Kraab held over one shoulder, his shirt replaced due to the blast to the chest.
The two step over to the front desk, where a young Petrosapien sat at a computer. The Petrosapien looks up when the two approached, raising an eyebrow at the sight up the tied up Kraab over George's shoulder.
"Here to turn in a bounty?" The Petrosapien guessed, receiving a simple nod from George in response.
As two more armored figures came by to take Kraab from George for processing, the Petrosapien slid a data-slate across the desk to Eve for her to read. After Kraab was fully handed over George also looked over the data-slate from over Eve's shoulder.
"This is a really strange bounty to pass off to us." Eve says, slightly confused. "Shouldn't this be passed off to a higher ranking Hunter like Albedo or Ben?"
"Unfortunately you are the highest ranked Hunters around right now." The Petrosapien shrugs, "If you don't want the job I can give it to someone else if you want."
Before Eve could respond, George put his hand on her shoulder and took the slate. He nods to the Petrosapien in agreement to the bounty, before simply heading towards the exit. Eve gives a frown and sticks out her tongue at his back before following behind her brother, giving the Petrosapien a wave as she headed out.
"Oh, such hardworking kids." The Petrosapien sighs. "I wish I was that young again."
As they left the Hunter Headquarters, George quickly hops into the diver's seat of his armored suv, with Eve hopping in next to him. Once Eve had buckled in George began to drive through the Bellwood streets towards the location of their next bounty.
"Are you sure about this, George?" Eve asks, eyebrow raised. "The thing said that they found people merged together. It's freaky. We should talk to Mom about this first."
George simply grunts in response, his eyes focused on the road as he drove. Eve puts a hand on his shoulder, her eyebrow still raised before she quickly retracts it as George shrugs it off.
"It is a high paying hunt, we need the money." George grunts. "Besides, it will be a nice change of pace from our usual 'safe' missions."
Eve holds up a hand as if to complain, but she slowly decides against it, going to call her mother and leave a voicemail about what was going on. Afterwards she quickly fell asleep in her seat, trusting her older brother to drive them out of the city and into the countryside safely.
As his sister slept, George remains focused on driving. Once he leaves the city and is rolling through the country he slowly relaxes, turning up the tint on the windows as well. Once night falls he takes a moment to sigh and then reach to his face to pull off an ID mask, his form turning into a Talpaedan. Now in his natural form, he relaxes a bit more into the seat, driving onwards into the countryside.
After another hour or two of driving, the two end up in front of a wrought-iron gate, rusted shut with disuse and age. Nudging his sister awake and putting his ID mask back on, the now human jumped out of the car. Eve groggily got out as well, spitting onto the ground before stretching.
"Are you sure you want to crack this open tonight and not get some rest?" Eve asks concerningly, looking up at her older brother.
George shook his head and stepped towards the gate, running his hands across it. He readies himself to crack it open, only waiting for his sister to give the 'all set' motion before busting the gate down with one clean punch. A great clanging rang out throughout the mansion complex as the gate came down, destroying whatever hope of stealth the duo had.
After brushing his hand off of rust and locking his car, George began to head to the front of the mansion. Eve groaned at the loudness of their entry but followed along, drawing one of her las-pistols and shortswords in ready of something jumping out. With George taking the lead, he stepped up the stairs and headed over to the partially broken front door. Giving it a simple knock to see if anyone was home, George barely waited a moment before punching down the door as well into a dusty and spiderwebbed hallway.
"I think this place is abandoned." Eve noted, receiving an amused grunt from George in response. "Wonder where this mark is hiding."
George shrugs before heading into the hallway, brushing some of the spiderwebs out of the way as he went. After fifteen minutes of finding nothing but dust and more dust, Eve paused as she saw some kind of flash from a door leading to the basement. Waving her brother over, she headed towards the door before being held back by George. He taps his ear, causing Eve to cut whatever sass she was preparing short. The sound of several heavy footsteps rang out from behind the door, before it swung open to reveal the large form of a fusion between a Pyrosapien and a Transylian. While Eve grunts in surprise, George raised a hand in greeting, only to be hit in the face by a fireball with lightning sparking from it.
George staggers back, the ID Mask breaking and revealing his true form as a Talpaedan. Eve exclaims in horror before turning towards the fusion, her shortsword lighting on fire in a sympathetic rage. The fusion tilts his head, surprised at the bravery of the young girl before unleashing a burst of that same fire-lightning at Eve. Despite not being able to dodge it in time, Eve stabs the sword into the floor to ground the lightning while tanking the fire due to her pyrosapien heritage. The fusion blinked in surprise before Eve slams into the figure, using his sheer weight to topple him back down the stairs to the basement. Unable to stop himself from falling back, the fusion grabbed Eve to make her fall with him into the darkness with a crash.
Seeing his sister fall into the basement by herself, George quickly shook off the shock of the attack before heading towards the door, noting the broken steps from the fusion's fall. Noting that the broken steps go out from just under the door, George takes a breath before jumping from the door into the depths of the basement, crashing into the ground hard enough to break the concrete below him. Grunting in pain, George rises to his feet, only to be punched back into the ground by a full Transylian's fist.
"Another visitor, great." The Transylian grunted before punching George down again, before lifting him up by the collar. "At this one is interesting. What do you think, Lord?"
The Transylian drags the semi-conscious George towards a strange machine with a red, black and silver device implanted into it. On a video screen next to the device was some kind of ghost, laughing at the defeated George.
"I've never seen a creature quite like him. We should test the machine on him next, Viktor." The ghost laughs. "Add to our army."
Viktor drags George over to a glass holding tube, moving to toss him in there. Unfortunately for him, George snapped back to attention and punched Viktor off of him, causing the Transylian to step back. Cracking his neck Viktor readies himself for a fight, with George and himself launching several quick strikes against each other. After a few minutes they seemed to be evenly matched, before George cocked his arm all the way back and punches his strongest punch against the chest of Viktor, cracking his sternum and forcing him to slide back and hit the machine.
"George, watch out!" Eve yelled, causing George to jump to the side as a las-bolt hit the strange device in the middle of the machine. The device sparked wildly, launching energy bolts all over the basement before a flash of red bursts out, engulfing Viktor. Once the chaos stopped, both Eve and George got to their feet, seeing a destroyed machine and the device simply sitting there unharmed.
"What do you think it is?" Eve asks, reaching a hand out before George shook his head. He pulls out a small bag, carefully scooping it into the bag before picking up the unconscious fusion.
Once they left a small crackle went over the defeated machine, before a purple flash appears before it. An armored figure steps out and picks up a piece of the machine before nodding and disappearing in the same purple flash.
