High above the fourth homeworld of the Cerebrocrustaceans hangs a satellite- a moon- that predates every living thing in the system. It has outlasted kings, mass-extinction events, the deaths of three of the system's planets, and the Heaven Wars. Its death came not from entropy or the death of the Encephalonus star, but from the claws of the Cerebrocrustaceans. Unlike the planets before it, however, its death was intentional. An orchestrated effort of science and progress, The Library is a concentrated collaboration of many of the universe's most intellectual races. After two centuries of progress, today it celebrates its grand opening.
