The Journey across Galvan B is a series created by Upgrade.
Introduction[]
All I wanted to do was fit in. But I was the defective one. The one that didn't belong with the others. The one that wasn't allowed to mingle with the other Mechamorphs.
The memory still overpowers me with emotion. I can remember it like it wasn't very long ago... that just goes to show how lonely I am.
"Hey, Glitch, want to play laser tag?" The other Mechamorphs had called to me. I hadn't said a word; I only joyfully went over to join the group of Mechamorph children in the clearing. I felt so happy, until they started putting me down. Unintentionally, of course. Their circuitry lit up with a glowing green color, illuminating the darkness of the night. They all ran in opposite directions of each other, leaving me standing alone by myself. The Mechamorph children fired laser beams from their cyclopian eyesight units, aiming them at each other. Whoever got hit first was 'out.' I still don't understand games to this day, as I've never quite fit in enough to play them.
Alas, I did not excel in my natural powers. My circuitry remained dark. I failed to shoot any energy from my eyesight unit. The Mechamorph children stopped playing as one came over to me.
"What's wrong?" Said the one sympathetically.
"I... I don't operate correctly. I'm sorry." I said to him. A moment of silence passed between the two of us.
"Let's go somewhere else, guys," said the Mechamorph kid. "This guy's a loser. Looks like he lives up to his name! Glitch! Glitch! You're just a useless glitch!" They ran off, chanting my name in a downgrading manner. Since that moment, word got out about my defect. No other known Mechamorphs had this problem.
And that's where my journey began. Our Mechamorph civilization resides on Galvan B, a moon that orbits Galvan Prime. Outside of this community is nothing but a rocky landscape. Something told me there was something on the dark side of the moon that could help me. Besides, if there wasn't, who would care if I went missing anyway?
