The Clocktopus is the third episode of Owen 10.
Plot[]
Owen and Jade arrive at a theme park at the pier called Squid City. Jade asks why they’re even there and Owen says after saving the zoo from Animo, they gave him two free tickets as a reward. They look around, and wonder what to do first. Then, some steam-powered robots attack the park and start surrounding people. Owen hides behind a stall and turns into Lodestar. He uses his magnetic powers to push them away from people, then throws them into the ocean. Others run towards him, but he creates a magnetic forcefield that repels them. He finishes them off and soon none are left. Jade wants to know what happened, but Owen realises the attack caused people to run, meaning there are shorter lines so he pulls Jade towards the rollercoaster. A montage is shown of them having fun around the park and taking photos.
The two are later eating candy floss looking into the sea before a steam-powered, mechanical squid rises from the water. Inside, a man called Steam Smythe tells everyone he has come to save Squid City with his Clocktopus. Owen asks what he means and Smythe says the park is set to close down and allow room for a megaplex, but it’s a historical landmark and must be saved. Owen realises he was behind the robot attack and turns into Eatle, surprising Smythe. Eatle is about to eat the wooden planks of the pier, before the Clocktopus hits him with a tentacle. Eatle is thrown around like a ragdoll, not having fast enough reflexes to react to the attacks. Then he lands and reverts, defeated. Jade pulls him out of the way before a tentacle hits him.
Behind a stall, Owen recovers. He tells Jade ha can’t let Smythe do this and turns into Humungousaur. He smashes through the stall and a tentacle attacks him, but he grabs it and pulls it off. He runs towards the Clocktopus, tearing off another tentacle. He jumps on top of it and starts punching it, making a dent. A tentacle grabs his leg and throws him off, but he jumps at the Clocktopus, punching through and pulling out a gear. The Clocktopus starts to fall apart. Smythe jumps out and uses a steam-powered drone to escape. Later, Owen is upset that he let Smythe get away, but Jade reminds him he did the best he could.
