History[]
The Captain, birthname Thomas, was born on an undisclosed planet in an undisclosed timeline at an undisclosed time.
Through the course of his life, Tom worked his way up through the Rebel Army and became a Major. After the wars ended and the Army was destroyed, he became a starship pilot. He bought Laika off of Jules for an undisclosed price (but probably for cheap, let's be honest, Laika's not worth much).
What's the rebel army, you ask? Well, son, just read Sol 10 and wait for that bit of lore to drip out of the rusty faucet that is my writing in the near future.
Events of Sol 10[]
When we first meet the Captain, he is engaged in a chase against the devious Szilard, who is attempting to destroy the universe with Red Matter. When they crash land, Szilard uses his Red Matter to kill Artemis. The Captain wastes no time in avenging her as Yes-Man, killing the both of them and leaving Laika and the Omnitrix the only survivors. Sol inherits the Omnitrix minutes later.
Because he is dead, we do not meet the Captain again and probably will not for a very long time. Hopefully.

Major Tom was previously the slavemaster to both Artemis and Laika. It can be assumed he was a rather nice slavemaster, since he doesn't seem like that type of guy, right?
