Thep Khufan Commander Tersce is the leader of the army/alien armada that will attempt (and possibly succeed in, as seen in the Limited alternate timeline) the destruction of Earth as the start of the reign of the Thep Khufans, looked down upon by all the other species in the galaxy.
He first appeared in Limited on a screen showing a possible outcome for the war started by Scarogus if Ben is to perish in battle. Later in the episode, he appears in person and escapes from his ship after Ben as Lodestar nearly defeats him.
In New Girl, it was revealed that he has a brother named Loitus who is third-in-command (second-in-command as of The Alternative) in the Thep Khufan army, and that the one Thep Khufan ranking higher than Tersce himself is General Warren, who is in no way involved in the Armada's mission involving the Cyogen.
Back in Action: Alien Universe
- In Limited, he destroyed Earth in an alternate not too far-off future. In the main timeline for the series, he escaped his ship in one escape pod just before he was nearly defeated by Ben as Lodestar, leaving Ben to be defeated by the ship's self-destruct. (Ben escaped as Jetray, though.)
- In Magikfest, Scarogus delivers another Cyogen crystal to him. They begin their course to an unnamed planet (revealed to be Pyros in No Strings Attached).
- In No Strings Attached, Albedo and Elena relay the success of their mission on Earth to the Commander, confirming Ben's unawareness of their presence in the battle. Scarogus delivers yet another Cyogen crystal, this time extracted from Cyanne to prevent him from doing the transplant for Chili, the one person who knows who shot him. The Commander is informed that they are approaching their first destination (Pyros) and are ready to begin stage 2 of their plans.
- In The Sea's the Limit, he hints at the events of Operation Pyros and initiates the mission (which takes place immediately after the Endgame).
- In Hit and Miss, he announces the addition of a new member to the team.
- In Operation Pyros, he compromises the team (of Scarogus, Albedo, and Elena) during their mission to retrieve the Tetragen crystal by alerting the entire base in Nocturnal Flame of their presence.
- In Dial Z for Zombified, he appears in the Endgame (connected to Operation Pyros as its conclusion) segment to review the team's performance on Operation Pyros. He hints at adding a new member to the team (which he in-show chronologically later announces in Hit and Miss).
- In Ten Plus Twenty, Sii is welcomed by the Commander to listen in on a conversation with Mistress, a woman whose first mission will be assigned shortly.
- In Happily Never Happened, he spies on Ben, Ilario, and Kitty Rhymes in Chronospect, as well as the imprisonment of Metalink by Clockwork and the Chapters, and even on Future Ben as XLR8.
- In Missing Link, he aids in the mission that penultimately leads to Cyanne's imprisonment on Incarceron.
- In New Girl, he revealed to his crew the existence of his brother Loitus and the one Thep Khufan ranking higher than him, General Warren. He had Mistress destroyed after she was revealed to have been Rojo to most of the galaxy, and word had spread quickly to the General about this. He would later begin to rat out his work with her to the General in exchange for his brother's promotion to second-in-command, along with Scarogus's own demotion to third-in-command.
- In Revelation, he assesses Elena's first day patrolling the Null Void branch of Incarceron, learning the details of Vilgax's, Malevolence's, Slix's, and Cyanne's plan to escape Incarceron.
- In Man in the Stone Mirror, he is the victim of a crime caused by the naïvete that overwhelms him as he attempts to bring the Man in the Stone Mirror out of his mirror. As a result of the events, he is trapped within the mirror, which has incidentally been linked to all the technology in the Tertiary Wing, the name of the Armada's main ship. During Endgame, he watches the news, where an anchorwoman speaks about a girl named Mercedes Barnes. He references an opportunity for a new Mistress.

- Out of all of Back in Action: Alien Universe, he has only been absent from two episodes (Infernosphere and Threat or Menace). He has also only appeared outside of Endgame in four episodes (in Limited, Missing Link, New Girl, and Man in the Stone Mirror).
- The only episode he has appeared in outside of the Tertiary Wing is Missing Link.
