Plot[]
In space, alien warships rain fire onto a Galvan city below. While under attack, a Galvan scientist rushes to an elderly Galvan sitting in his chair, observing the destruction. The Galvan asks the elder, named Azmuth, about what they should do, in which the latter replies "Find the one". The two are teleported away as a blast destroys the lab.
In Bellwood, Ben Tennyson is on his way to work at The Fictioverse, a comic book store run by his boss and friend, Stuart Garner. As he stacks a few board games on a shelf, he overhears 2 kids talking about a starry hero creating a universe. As Stuart approaches him, Ben asks him if he had a lot of power, what would he do with it. Stuart is unsure and questions Ben, in which he replies he'll make the world better than his. Stuart keeps silent and goes to assist a customer.
After work hours, Ben returns home, accidentally leaving his jacket behind. During his walk home, he passes a newspaper stand showcasing the increase in crime in Bellwood, but continues his walk home. Upon arriving at his apartment, he discovers a parcel at his doorstep meant specifically for him. Ben brings it into his flat and places it on a table next to a picture of his parents. As he looks for scissors, the box emits a green light.
Upon opening the box, Ben finds the Omnitrix within the box's packing foam. Looking at the watch, the dial suddenly glows green and slides itself onto his wrist, before saying it had found Ben. This startles the latter, causing him to fall over and inadvertently activate the Omnitrix. As he scrolls through the alien selection, he pushes the dial down and transforms into Thornhenge. Scared by his new appearance, Ben accidentally fires spikes throughout his apartment.
Panicking at his transformation, Thornhenge gets even more startled when his doorbell rings, revealing that Stuart had come to return his jacket. Ben tries to make Stuart go away, but the latter persistently insists on seeing him, wondering if everything is alright due to Thornhenge's voice. Reluctantly caving in, Ben agrees to let Stuart enter with the condition that he doesn't panic. Upon entering, Thornhenge reluctantly reveals himself to Stuart, who backs away in surprise.
As Thornhenge explains himself to be Ben, the Omnitrix times out, reverting Ben back to his human self. Both of them are relieved, and Ben tells Stuart everything. They then try various different methods to remove the Omnitrix, only to fail, causing Ben to worry that the watch is actually an alien parasite not wanting to leave. Before Stuart could saw anything, the two hear S.W.A.T. vehicles going somewhere and decide to investigate.
Inside a shipping company, a few S.W.A.T. men enter, where they find a treasure box. As they approach it, the box suddenly morphs and attacks them, before jumping out into public. Ben and Stuart soon arrive, and see the alien rampaging, eating random objects. Stuart urges a reluctant Ben to use the Omnitrix, reminding the latter of what he said he'd do if he had power. Privately, Ben dials an alien and transforms into Anatacles, stating that he seems alright with this alien.
Anatacles then goes and grapples with the alien, introducing himself as Nottlug, and the two begin to fight. During the fight, Nottlug bites of and severs Anatacles' right hand, shocking everyone. To their surprise, Anatacles regrow his lost limb and punches Nottlug away. As Nottlug pounces onto Anatacles, four tentacles emerge from his body and punch his attacker back. After Stuart gives him an idea, Anatacles grabs onto Nottlug with his tentacles and spins, throwing the latter into space. Anatacles then disappears and reverts back to Ben.
The next day, Stuart is busy moving boxes in The Fictioverse while watching the news, where the world wonders if the sudden battle between Anatacles and Nottlug indicated the arrival of aliens. Just then, a silver alien named Powerpipe arrives and moves all the boxes in seconds, apologising for being late again before turning back into Ben. He told Stuart that last night, he discovered there were 10 different aliens in the Omnitrix, causing the latter to question him about what he'd do with this new power. Ben simply replies saying, "I'm going to be 10. Ben 10." as the watch glows green.

Allusions[]
- This episode parodies various elements from several Ben 10 episodes:
- The attack on Galvan Prime and the scene where Azmuth teleports away with someone is similar to the beginning of War of the Worlds Part 1.
- The scene where Ben first transforms into Thornhenge and panics is similar to the scene in And Then There Were 10 where Ben has the same reaction when turning into Heatblast for the first time.
- Ben transforms into a speed alien (Powerpipe/XLR8) off-screen and helps his allies move their items is also similar to And Then There Were 10.
- When Nottlug rips off Anatacles' arm before the latter regenerates it, it parodies the scene in Ben 10 Returns Part 1, where the same thing happens to Swampfire.
- The climax of the battle where Anatacles throws Nottlug into space is mimicked from Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix and Primus, where Way Big does the same to Vilgax. Coincidentally, both Anatacles and Way Big have red-aliens and made their debuts in the episodes where this move was first seen.
- While stacking some games, one of the games was named Caverns and Crawlers, a parody of the popular RPG Dungeons and Dragons.
- The scene where Ben sees the crime rate in his town had increased at a newsstand is similar to the scene in Spider-Man 2, where Peter does the same.
