Later, Igneoux showed up again to inform him that Dethrouge had returned, not knowing that Tech had already met hime. Ingeoux explained that he had put Dethrouge into interdimensional space a long time ago, and did not expect him to be able to return. He also explained that he Dethrouge had recieved the armor that gave him his power thousands of years ago from inside the then newly built great pyramids, and that there might be information there as to how to stop him. They went to the pyramids, and after facing a few traps, managed to get to a chamber that held a carved lion apparently made from alien technology. The lion was the guard of the room where the suits were kept, and would not allow Alvono to pass. When questioned about this, the lion explained that only the pure of heart were allowed to pass, and Alvono's motivation the entire time was to get revenge on his species for ostracizing him. Upon having his motivation exposed, Alvono turned on Tech and Igneoux, who he had forcibly turned back into humans. Tech managed to turn into a Galvanic Mechamoprh himself and repair the Ultimatrix, allowing him to transform into Power Surge again, who he used to launch a powerful attack that distintegrated Alvono and a good half of the pyramid. The lion allowed him to pass into the suit room, where Tech obtained the BIOME suit, which could be stored in the Ultimatrix and used again at will.

Tech 10 is a series of shows written by ChromastoneandTabby following the adventures of a human nicknamed 'Tech', as he saves everything from groceries to the universe throughout multiple iterations of the concept.

Original Continuity

Tech 10: Ultimatrix Unleashed

The Tech 10 universe originally began on July 12, 2010 with the series Tech 10: Ultimatrix unleashed. This series followed the original Tech, full name Tek No Logical, on his many adventures after finding the Ultimatrix after it fell from the sky into a gorge near his home.

Tech's original goal was to unlock all ten known aliens on the Ultimatrix, all while being hunted by a mysterious attacker that left poems that were essentially death threats. Tech came face to face with this attacker, a Cerebrocrustacean named Xenon, once he unlocked the ninth alien. He was unable to defeat him until he managed to unlock the tenth alien, Rockoustic, which made short work of him.

Tech continued to save the day from essentially random threats, unlocking new aliens, handily defeating Xenon, and eventually finding out the Ultimatrix was really just a rather advanced frame device that had been possessed by a Galvanic Mechamorph named Alvono.

A new arc started upon the breakdown of the time-space barrier around an area called 'Sector X'. Alvono teleported them to the site of the breakdown, and they found themselves on a barren, almost lifeless planet. Tech met one of the local lifeforms, which turned out to be one of Rockoustic's species, a Metamentian. The Metamentian explained that the planet used to be Earth, presumably from another timeline, and that it was flung into interdimensional space by a strange asteroid that hit the planet, killing most of humanity and mutating the rest into Metamentians and Carbosapiens. He also revelaed that he was Tech's descendant, and that the Tech of that universe wasn't around to stop the asteroid from impacting the planet because he was killed in a fight with Vilgax. Tech managed to fix the break in the time-space barrier with Electrolite, and returned home to think.

A few regular episodes later, Tech found himself attacked by a Metamentian bounty hunter named Igneoux, who had been hired to kill him by Vilgax. Igneoux's experience and age made him stronger than Rockoustic, and he ended up tearing through Tech's other powerful aliens with ease. Tech managed to catch him off guard by using the flight technique he had developed for Rockoustic, buying him time to transform into Fearoid, an alien that could drain the life out of his targets. This forced Igneoux to retreat, though he warned Tech that he would return at some point to finish the job.

Tech had recently turned 12, and noted that as he got older, his hero duties might become more trouble than they're worth as he gains more responsibilities in his daily life. He decided to take off the Ultimatrix and quit his time as a hero, at least for a while. This marked the end to Tech 10: Ultimatrix unleashed.

Colossal Christmas Crossover

A few weeks later, Tech put the Ultimatrix back on for a christmas party on Galvan Mark II thrown by Azmuth for heroes from quite a few different dimensions. (Long story.) During the party, villains from all of the heroes' respective dimensions appeared in an attempt to kill all of them in one place. This attack failed, thanks to the combined efforts of everyone there, and Tech scanned a new alien from a shooting star that was flying overhead during the battle.

Tech 10: Combalien Evolution

On January 7, 2011, a sequel series was created under the name Tech 10: Combalien Evolution. The new series began with Tech being bugged by a bored Alvono, who wanted to go and do something for once. Tech decided to go out for a drive as Calkules, but was stopped by a figure falling out of the sky and landing right in front of him, similarly to the Ultimatrix's method of arrival. The figure turned out to be the 'shooting star' that Tech had scanned during the battle on Galvan Mark II, and also turned out to be a version of Tech from another universe. Tech decided to wear the Ultimatrix again until he could figure out what was going on.

A few days later, Igneoux made good on his threat to return, and brought along various aliens, one of each species of Tech's original ten. He also had new armor and various equipment with him, apparently making him stronger. The Lightnitron, one of Electrolite's species, attacked first, though Tech was able to handily beat it with a new form called Power Surge; however, because of his lack of practice with the form, he ended up making the attack too powerful, accidentally distintegrating the alien, causing him to swear off using the form entirely.

After Tech defeated the remaining aliens, Igneoux faced Tech himself. Instead of attacking, however, he started ranting at Tech about his lack of skill with the Ultimatrix. When questioned about this, Igneoux stated the aliens he had sent were a test to see if Tech was up to the challenge of what was coming. Igneoux explained that there were four different versions of Tech that had to be found, as Vilgax and Xenon had formed an alliance to find them themselves. The four alternate versions of Tech held the keys to the Gate of Reality, an ancient device which allowed the user to switch realities at a whim, and granted the user their heart's desire. Meanwhile, the version of Tech that had landed on Earth was captured by Vilgax and Xenon, forcing Tech and Igneoux to give chase. They managed to rescue the alternate Tech, leaving Vilgax and Xenon to curse them simultaneously.

Tech later found another version of himself, which he scanned for another form that he named Aerodrill. After fighting off Vilgax and Xenon again, Igneoux was attacked by a ghost alien that was strong enough to damage his armor. Tech took the opportunity to try out the new form, and managed to defeat the ghost alien, sending it flying and causing it to crash near Vilgax and Xenon, whom it promptly attacked.

Tech was later attacked again by Vilgax and Xenon, who had found a strange ball weapon on an asteroid they had passed by, and decided to let the weapon loose on Tech. The weapon turned out to be able to instantly morph itself into various formas that could counter Tech's aliens perfectly. Igneoux noticed this and came to help, but he was also vulnerable to the weapon's attacks. The weapon managed to destory his armor, revealing that Igneoux had the exact same appearance as Rockoustic. This ticked Igneoux off exponentially, sending him into a rage that allowed him to finally destroy the weapon. Xenon, while initially taken aback, grinned and informed Tech that they had been secretly filming and broadcasting the whole battle on screens across the world. Tech sent them flying again, and Igneoux revealed that he was, in fact, the Tech from the Earth that had been sent into interdimensional space.

Some time later, Xenon crash landed near the local library, and revealed that he was a clone from the Codon Stream that had somehow taken form, and simply became a villain because that's typically what clones do. His life force was slowly being drained from somewhere on Encalophus IV, which was being consume dby some kind of dark force. Tech and Xenon arrived on the planet to find a human in strange armor by the name of Dethrouge, who had been controlling the dark forces and had an army of Emotispecters under mind control. Tech defeated the Emotispecters, but before he could fight Dethrouge, the villain left, claiming to be an Egyptian Pharoh and soon to be ruler of the universe.

Tech managed to turn into a Galvanic Mechamorph himself and repair the Ultimatrix, allowing him to transform into Power Surge again, who he used to launch a powerful attack that distintegrated Alvono and a good half of the pyramid. The lion allowed him to pass into the suit room, where Tech obtained the BIOME suit, which could be stored in the Ultimatrix and used again at will.

Some time after this, Tech helped restore the frozen world of Votosk into a liveable condition for the Prypiatosian As who lived there.

The series cut off after this episode ended, as ChromastoneandTabby had no more interest in continuing the story. He has confirmed the series will recieve a proper closure at some point, but it's pretty much at the bottom of his to-do list.

Rebooted Continuity

Tech 10: Rebooted

A few months after ChromastoneandTabby abandoned the original Tech 10 continuity, he decided to start up a new continuity, one that gave him a fresh slate to write about whatever he wanted without having to create an entirely new series from scratch. This new continuity began with Tech 10: Rebooted, launched on January 30, 2012.

The new continuity began with an episode parodying the old continuity, and multiple aliens and characters being redesigned for the new series. The series even got it's own music, which unlike the lyrics-only opening theme for the previous series, actually existed. The only thing it didn't have was an actual episode that began the story for the series.

Then the series was abandoned.

ChromastoneandTabby left the wiki entirely, moving on to other sites and projects, leaving his old series behind. It looked like the end for Tech 10 entirely.

For almost a year.

Months later, ChromastoneandTabby returned to the wiki, and created a new series titled Not Applicable, completely unrelated to Tech 10, mainly for writing and art practice. He started getting back into the wiki more and more, and decided to return to Tech 10: Rebooted, officially resuming it on March 19, 2014 and saving the Tech 10 universe from the dump heap.

A new episode was written, and pages were created and redone to make way for the new story.

Tech, currently on a vacation with his family, manages to bust an underground weapons ring, and helps a Galvanic Mechamorph named Alvono to escape from forced labor in the ring. Alvono is hired as a field assistant, and Tech obtains the Pyronaut Blade, a superheated blade designed to slice through armor.

New episodes are in development for the series, and a whole story has been planned out. It may take a while to write the episodes, but hey, that's how the cookie crumbles.
