Dakota Kaplan is the main character in The Lone Hero. He first appeared in He Comes With a Gift Pt. 1.
Appearance[]
Dakota is a fifteen year-old teenage boy with average length dark brown hair combed to the right and brown eyes. He is leanly built, with considerable muscle mass. He usually wears a white hoodie with the zipper open and a black shirt with jeans and black tennis shoes.
Personality[]
Dakota is sarcastic and witty, often making snarky remarks at the expense of his friends, enemies, or sometimes himself.
Dakota can be somewhat of a loner, having only two close friends. This often leaves him isolated, as his two best friends are dating each other. However, eh can be social when needed, and has very good people skills.
Dakota is bisexual
Dakota's taste in music is very varied and ranges from 90's hip hop to alternative to pop to classic rock.
Dakota wears black quite frequently, and that, combined with his musical taste and personality cause a lot of people to label him as emo.
Powers and Abilities[]
Dakota wields the Omnitrix, allowing him to transform into various different alien forms. This gives him a variety of different strengths and abilities depending on which form.
Even without the Omnitrix, Dakota is very capable of survival. He has an above average IQ, he is very athletic, and has an almost perfect memory if he concentrates hard enough.
Weaknesses[]
The Omnitrix times out after about 15 to 20 minutes, leaving Dakota to be overpowered by stronger opponents.
Dakota's sometimes mean sense of humor will usually provoke an enemy even more than he/she already was, which can up their aggression factor.

Dakota and Emily are very close as seen in He Comes With a Gift Pt. 1. Emily is one of Dakota's few friends, and helps him out with school. Their relationship is strictly platonic, as Emily is dating Caden.

Dakota and Caden have a deep, brother-like connection. They playfully argue sometimes, and Emily calls them an "old married couple". They have supposedly known each other since 5th grade,

Dakota and Simon have a Trainee/Mentor relationship, with Simon often explaining things related to the Plumbers or aliens. Their bond runs slightly deeper than that though, and the two get gradually closer over time.
