Chapter 1[]
A cold gust of wind is blown in through Riley's bedroom window; the sky was pitch black, with trees slowly swaying side to side from the breeze. Riley was curled up in his quilt, staying nice and warm, with his alarm clock showing the time as "04:30am" as it switched from telling the time, to forecasting the weather, and then switching to show the temperature, being 0 degrees Celsius.
With a few hours passing by, Riley is still asleep, while the sky remained the same. Riley checks the time, revealing "07:30am" as some clouds began to turn grey. Riley gets up from his bed in his boxers, walking towards the wardrobe. Bags were underneath Riley's eyes as he began to change into his casual clothes, with his phone lighting up, receiving a notification.
Riley finishes getting dressed by wearing his green jumper over his checkered shirt. With Riley putting on his navy blue jeans, and white trainers, he enters the bathroom and turns the light on. With the light almost blinding the blonde seventeen-year-old, Riley grabs hold of his electric toothbrush and coats it with toothpaste. He began to brush away, cleaning his teeth.
"Today's going to be a big day." Riley thought. "I hope we get a break after our first and second shifts."
Riley finishes brushing his teeth and wipes his face with a steaming hot flannel. With Riley's teeth looking clean, he receives another notification from the group chat with Riley's fellow friends from work; Tyler, the leader of the team, he is the Red Ranger, who bonded with the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Shelby Watkins, she is Tyler's girlfriend, she is the Pink Ranger, who bonded with the Triceratops, Koda, he is a caveman, so he's still new to recent technology, he is the Blue Ranger, who bonded with the Stegosaurus, and finally, Chase Randall, Riley's future boyfriend, however, Riley does not know how to tell him, Chase is native to New Zealand and rides skateboards around their town, Amber Beach, he is the Black Ranger, who bonded with the Parasaurolophus.
The message was sent by Tyler to meet up near a coffee shop in Amber Beach, with Shelby and Chase following on with their replies. Riley replies afterwards, accepting Tyler's request. In addition to this, Riley spikes his hair with wax, finalising his appearance, as he leaves his house and out into the real world.
"Today's hopefully the day where I can express my feelings." Riley thought once again.
The sky started to brighten up very slowly, with every minute resulting on the sky to turn into a gradient of orange and purple shades, blending together whilst the colour pink was spilt down, forming a gorgeous sky, with dark grey clouds far apart from one another. Riley stands by the traffic lights as a few dozen cars drove past with their pollution killing the breathable air. Riley finds Chase at the other side walking with Tyler, Shelby and Koda. With the sign flashing green, Riley crosses the road and catches up with the other four.
"Hey, Riley." Shelby said, smiling as he approached them. "So glad to see you."
"You too." He replied.
The five head to the coffee shop, with the wind blowing mildly, leaves swaying from the ground to the air and the sun making its entry. With the sky almost turning fully blue, the five rangers arrive at the coffee shop, ready to order. After about five minutes of ordering their drinks, the rangers finally head to the Dinosaur Museum, with their boss, Kendall Morgan, standing near the entrance with her arms crossed.
"You're all late." She snapped. "You five are behind schedule, you were all supposed to be here at 9:30am ready for when the customers arrive."
Tyler butted in. "But Miss Morgan, it's 8:15am, we're not late, we're too early."
Kendall looks at her watch, revealing the time as 8:15am. She looks up. "My mistake, usually you five would be here on time, or a few minutes late, anyway, enough of that, today is December 23rd, Christmas is happening on a Friday, and you five will be taking the day off as requested by Koda last week."
"Thank you, Miss Morgan." Tyler smiled. "We don't know how to thank you."
"Keep doing the right thing." She smiled.
The six then enter the building, with Miss Morgan closing the door behind her. With the lights off, showing nothing but pure darkness, Tyler and the rest began shivering, while Miss Morgan turns on the lights. There, Christmas decorations filled the room with festivity, the remains of the T-Rex had red and green tinsel, with a huge Christmas tree nearby, with Christmas balls hanging on the tree, with the light flashing from green, to red, to white. It was beautiful.
They then enter the café they work in, with red, white and green tinsel everywhere, from on the doors, to the counter and finally, on the lights, with paper cut-outs of snowflakes stapled on the wall. The huge plants were replaced with mini Christmas trees. Miss Morgan began to look at the rangers' faces, filled with astonishment, and amazement.
"I did all of this early this morning." She said, with her schedule in her hand. "It took me some time, but I got there in the end."
"It looks beautiful." Shelby replied, with a warm tone in her voice. She walks to the counter, feeling the tinsel on the chairs as she passed, with the other four following along. With Miss Morgan smiling, she leaves, without saying anything. It was so festive in the café as it was in the entire museum as a whole, with the sign even having tinsel on it. The tables were sanitised, the chairs were neatly proportioned and everything else looked like how they first started, the café was clean.
Enter a forest. But not just any forest, but a mysterious forest. There, a crash-landed ship was present from the horizon, seen out of the blue from anyone who walked past it. The ship belonged to a fellow villain named Sledge. He was the leader of his team of outlaws. Sledge was walking down the hallway where he keeps his outlaws imprisoned. Following him, was his soon-to-be wife, Poisandra. She is currently Sledge's girlfriend.
"Oh Sledgums, when are we ever going to get married?" She asked in her high pitched, joyful voice.
"Like I promised the twentieth thousandth time, sweetie." He snapped. "We are not getting married until I get the Energems from those lousy brats!"
They enter the cockpit, while Poisandra was moaning because of how long she had to wait. "Do we seriously need to wait that long?" She asked again.
Sledge looks at Poisandra, then at the hallway where he keeps his imprisoned outlaws. "Sadly, yes."
Wrench and Fury enter the cockpit, with a fellow outlaw. The outlaw looked like a jagged piece of ice, with really sharp claws, and pointy teeth. His name was Iceage, the outlaw who tried to steal Shelby's Energem. Iceage walks over to Sledge, afraid to speak.
"M-Master Sledge." He stuttered. "I was brought down by Fury and Wrench to steal the Energems."
Sledge turns around. "How long will that take? Poisandra and I want to get married!"
Iceage panicked again. "N-Not long, Master Sledge."
Sledge turned back to face Poisandra. "Good."
Chapter 2[]
Enter the base with the main five rangers who were busy sorting out their personal belongings, while Chase was lounging around and Riley was practising his sword fighting techniques. Riley paused for a moment, recalling memories of when he used to live in the barn with his mother and his brother. Riley tries to get those visions out of his head by continuing his techniques until he loses focus yet again.
"Hey." Shelby walked in. "Are you alright?"
"No." Riley replied. "I keep visiting those past visions in my head, it's making me lose focus."
Riley slashes the test dummy again with his Dino Saber until he lost control on the blade; he drops the sword in return. Shelby tries to comfort him. Chase gets up from his seat and walks over to Shelby and Riley. Shelby moves so Chase could sit to the right of Riley, with Chase leaning Riley over for a little hug.
"Listen, mate." He started. "I'll always be here if you ever want me."
Riley looks away. "But what if that isn't the case?" Riley answered back in sorrow. "What if either of us is captured by Sledge?"
Chase began to think. "Then I'd be here to rescue you, no friend is left behind."
Riley lets out a warm smile in return. "Thank you, Chase. I owe you one."
Kendall Morgan walks in with her schedule as she begins skimming through the timetables. As she finds the five, she stops and lets out a sigh. She puts her schedule on the table, with the five all forming a line next to one another. From the left side to the right, was Koda, Tyler, Shelby, Riley and Chase, as they wait for Kendall's message.
"Good news, you all will be finishing early today." She announced.
The five began to cheer.
"This is amazing." Tyler cheered, smiling as he hugs Shelby.
"However, by tomorrow, the café will be closed. So work on the museum must be completed." Kendall continued.
"We finish in no time." Koda replied, smiling.
"Perfect, your shifts will start in five minutes from now, I'll get you guys know when they arrive." Kendall smiles as she began to grab her schedule again as she heads off. With Kendall gone, the five rangers look at each other as they have never finished early on Christmas before.
Customers started walking into the café while people were taking a look at the exhibits in the museum. Chase was busy cooking meals for customers whilst also listening to his music, taking no notice of his surroundings, Tyler and Shelby were doing the dishes, while Koda and Riley were handing out the cooked food. Riley quickly heads back to grab more plates to serve, when suddenly, he notices that Chase had been cooking the same beef patty for two minutes.
"Chase." Riley spoke.
No response.
"Chase!" He shouted, to no surprise, Chase did not respond.
"Chase!" Riley shouted louder. Chase quickly takes off his headphones.
"What is it, Riley?" He asked.
"You've been cooking that patty for two minutes now." He laughed. "People are getting hungry."
"Sorry about that, mate." Chase replied.
Riley began getting the visions again as he began to sadden even worse than last time he visioned. Tyler and Shelby look over to find Riley heading back to the counter. They did not hesitate to speak, but Riley decided to head into their base. Unaware by this, Kendall enters the café. She walks past Riley as she heads over to the counter. Kendall stops as Tyler and Shelby walk over.
"Where's Riley going?" Kendall asked. "He still needs to give the customers their food."
"Shelby and I will investigate, Miss Morgan." Tyler responded.
Shelby and Tyler follow Riley to their base, as they do this, Riley enters the base and sits down on a stool. Enter Keeper, along with Tyler and Shelby, with Tyler and Shelby walking towards Riley who starts crying. Riley wipes away his tears, but he still cried.
"Your hormones overcome your strengths." Keeper explains, walking towards Riley, slowly. "What's the matter, Riley?"
Riley hesitated to speak. "Nothing, Keeper. I just feel down, that's all. I've really missed my family since I left. That's all I could think about."
"Leaving family can be hard sometimes." Keeper responded, calmly. "Cherish all the memories, I'm sure you won't forget them."
Riley smiles. "Thanks, Keeper. I owe you one."
"I am always there to help." Keeper smiles, walking off. He finds Tyler and Shelby. "You two must stay close to Riley in case he has another outburst."
"You can count on us, Keeper." Tyler smiled.
Riley gets up as he walks back to the café with Tyler and Shelby. Suddenly, Chase dashes towards Riley as he gives him a warm hug. With Riley's mind going crazy, he tries to process what was going on. Within a second later, Riley accepts the hug given by Chase by hugging him back.
"Never do that again." Chase sighed. "I don't want to see you sad like this." Chase looks at Riley as he wipes his tears. "You scared me."
"I didn't mean to, Chase." Riley responded, with his head down in shame.
Chase lifts Riley's head up with his hand. "Don't be sad." He smiled.
Riley tries not to feel bad. "I feel so dumb for doing what I did."
"Hey, it's okay." Chase quickly interrupted. "It's the thought of never seeing your family that makes you feel down."
Riley smiles before turning it into another frown.
"You know what?" Chase added on. "Meet me near the park at five in the evening. I'll help you relax."
"You will?" Riley asked.
"Of course, mate." Chase smiled. "That's what friends are for."
Riley's brain began to overload with thoughts on what to do while he was at the park. In case if Chase decided to kiss Riley, Riley would have to do something to keep them distracted, ready for when he strikes first. Kendall walks over and finds Riley looking like a sad sack as she gives him a warm hug.
"Riley." She saddened. "Don't do this again, we love you. We all do."
Riley began smiling with tears rolling down his face. The fact Kendall says that he's loved by the Rangers made him happier. His happiness sparked when he figured that Chase might have liked him since the beginning too, as he wouldn't have done what Kendall did just a second ago; but he didn't care, Riley was glad that he was loved, and didn't feel too out of place by the general public.
Riley's main concept was to fit in with the crowd, but since he stands out from the crowd, it made him feel unique. Being unique is the best part to express yourself out into the world, being the same is boring, which is something Riley had experienced before when he lived with his mother and his brother, he didn't like being the same, he liked being different, and he'll stay that way forever.
Chapter 3[]
Iceage was spotted in Amber Beach with a dozen of monsters, known as Vivix. The Vivix have no gender, they just work for Sledge and his team to take the Energems from the rangers. The Vivix don't speak either, they just wander around with whoever's in charge of getting the Energems, well in that case, it's mostly everyone who's a monster.
"Alright, listen up." Iceage snapped, grabbing the Vivix's attention. "We're here to take the Energems of those lousy rangers in order to make Sledge happy, and we won't be able to do that if we're just lounging about."
He began to think. "I've got an idea, we all know Riley likes Chase, so we shall strike at those two first as a distraction."
The Vivix started nodding their heads in agreement, until one started shaking their head in disagreement.
"What do you mean 'no'?" Iceage asked. "It's the best plan in the world. That way, we get the black and green Energems first."
After having a full on argument for about three minutes straight, Iceage began to reconsider thinking about charging after the two homosexual lads. Instead of attacking the short blonde and the flirtatious brunette, he thinks of something else, something better than his previous plan. Iceage thought whether or not he should attack Tyler, Shelby and Koda first, since it would just leave the two to suffer in case if one physically damaged.
"I got the perfect plan." He claims.
A few hours had passed by, with Tyler and the other four packing away, tidying and reorganising everything ready for tomorrow. They began taking off Christmas decorations, lights, tinsels, balls and the mini Christmas trees in the café; everything looked so... bland, there was nothing festive about the entire building, it looked so empty. The sky was pretty much pitched black, with the clouds covering up the moon's identity. The cold air howled like a wolf, it had decided to get colder than early morning.
They shivered.
"Alright, I'm going home." Tyler announced.
Koda breathes out and finds his breath as a cloud of warmth. "Is this normal?" He asked.
Shelby laughed. "Yes, Koda."
They head outside after finishing closing the place down for the night, with the moon exposing it's naked appearance, flashing a bright white light as it reflected from a tiny puddle. It soon froze into solid ice due to it being so cold. Chase pulls Riley in for warmth.
"Chase!-" Riley shrieked as he was getting pulled in.
Chase laughs. "Yes?"
Riley hesitated to speak. "Nevermind, carry on."
Chase chuckles again, it felt like Chase really loved Riley being near him. With Tyler and Shelby heading home, Chase and Riley head home themselves; the meeting had to be cancelled due to it being so cold, Iceage's plan had failed. As soon as Chase and Riley arrived at Riley's house, Riley gives Chase a warm hug.
"Thank you, hotshot." Riley spoke, with a warm tone in his voice.
Chase's warm smile beamed as it made Riley feel even more happier. With Chase walking home, shivering, Riley runs over to Chase.
"Wait!" Riley shouted.
Chase stopped as he finds Riley trying to catch up with him. Chase stops whilst Riley was trying to catch his breath from the run. There, one on one, Chase was standing, waiting for Riley to speak.
"What is it, Riley?" The brunette southerner spoke.
Riley rushed to look at Chase. "There is something I want to tell you."
Chase grew slightly concerned. "What is it, mate?" He asked.
Riley didn't want to say, he bottled up all his feelings, trying to keep it a secret. But if he did, Chase wouldn't know what he was trying to say. Riley's eyes began watering due to him hiding his love for his hotshot.
Until that moment, Riley spoke.
"Chase. Since we first met, I've always had this feeling, like we were meant to be. I didn't know how to tell you. I always felt if my emotions would become part of the problem because of what happened a few hours ago."
Chase was surprised.
With a heavy heart, Riley spoke again.
"I didn't want to do this, but, Chase... will you go out with me?"
Both Chase and Riley's cheeks were red from the intense blushing. Riley knew what he did was right, but it wasn't until Chase started laughing.
"Oh Riley." He warmly smiled, once again. "Of course I will go out with you. Why wouldn't I?"
Chase grants Riley a warm hug while Riley returns the favour. Riley's plan had worked, he is dating the brunette southerner, and that was all he wanted. There was nothing he could've done to make this any better. But he did. Riley reaches in for a warm kiss on the lips while Chase's eyes widened. With Chase's heart sinking in lust, Chase returns the kiss by kissing back.
Riley's hands caress on Chase's cheeks while Chase's hands were on his waist, they both start laughing with tears of joy, with Chase spinning Riley as the blonde was in the air. Chase and Riley were having the time of their life. It wasn't until Chase stops spinning Riley.
"What's wrong, Chase?" his blonde boyfriend asked.
Chase grabs his phone from his pocket and finds a message given by his mother. The message said:
"Chase, my loving son. Chloe's having her friends stay over for the night, I don't mind you having a sleep over with anyone from work, but don't even think about doing the process."
Chase smiled. "My mother said I don't have to be home because my sister's friend is having a sleepover."
Riley smiles with warmth. "I'm happy for you to stay at my place."
Riley grabs hold of Chase's hand as they both ran towards the apartments. Inside the apartments was a reception room. Riley and Chase head to the elevator, with the receptionist smiling. As soon as the elevator landed on the same floor as the two were in, Chase picks up his lover as they both head inside. The receptionist's smile was happier.
They exit the elevator with warmth and complete comfort. Riley grabs hold of the keys as he begins to unlock the door. The door opens with a slight creaking sound. The inside looked comforting and clean; walls were clean, the tables and chairs were clean, everything was arranged beautifully. Chase and Riley look at each other and smile yet again.
"Your place is wonderful." Chase smiled.
Riley blushed. "T-thank you." He stuttered.
Riley is put on his feet by Chase as he dives on the sofa, with the remote in one hand. As he turns on the television, Riley runs off and grabs a blanket. Following along was a bowl, and some snacks. Chase looks and smiles in awe. It wasn't until Riley headed into his bedroom and comes out wearing a black, Parasaurolophus onesie. Chase started blushing with his cheeks steaming from his boyfriend.
"There's a green one for you, Chase." Riley smiled, pointing to his bedroom.
Chase walks into Riley's bedroom as he finds the green, Velociraptor onesie lying on his bed. Chase puts it on and notices how it's too small. Chase walks out with his biceps and pecks bulging. It did fit Chase, but it was so tight, his muscles were exposed. Riley turns to face Chase to see how it fitted until he was caught off guard at how huge Chase was built. Riley started drooling, with a warm laughter from his brunette hotshot.
"I didn't think it would fit you." Riley laughed.
"I don't think this one's my size." Chase chuckled.
Chase and Riley swap their onesies to fit their colours; Riley was the green Velociraptor while Chase was the black Parasaurolophus. Riley pulls his hood down, while Chase was blushing from how cute his 17-year-old boyfriend is. Riley sits on Chase's lap as he wraps himself and his boyfriend in the warm blanket, with the bowl of snacks as they began to watch films together.
Chapter 4[]
A nice quiet day in Amber Beach's Dinosaur Museum. The restaurant was closed for now while the rangers were in their base with Kendall and Keeper. Riley was with Chase, practising sword fighting, while Shelby and Tyler were with Koda doing their own things. Chase's hands were on Riley's sword, with his swings and attacks being a little rusty.
"I'll help you, hotshot." Riley smiled.
Riley grabs hold of Chase's hands as he began giving Chase momentum and force on the swings, giving the blade more energy and a massive amount of lightning sparking off the deadly thunder blade. Chase and Riley start hugging and jumping for joy as Riley helped Chase master his capabilities on how to fight with a sword.
Kendall rushes in. "Rangers, Iceage has planned to attack. He has an army of Vivix, be careful."
"You can count on us, Miss Morgan." Tyler announced.
The five grab their Energems and head off to battle.
"Fe fi fo fum, I smell Power Rangers with frostbite on their bum." Iceage laughed, freezing everything with his freeze breath. Tyler, Shelby, Koda, Chase and Riley run in and find the ice monster causing immense damage. The ice beast comes in contact with the five teens as he draws another attack. "Ah, it's so nice to see you lousy brats again." Iceage laughed.
"Quit playing around, Snowcone, we're taking you down!" Shelby snapped.
They grab out their Dino Chargers and their Dino Morphers. They click the Dino Chargers and insert them inside, they began their transformation sequence.
"Unleash the power!" They all shout.
Their transformation comes to an end with their helmets on as they proceed to run into the arena. Iceage was a bit more powerful than their last encounter. Iceage fires an attack at Shelby with Tyler pushing her out of the way, sacrificing himself, turning into an ice statue.
"NO!" Shelby cried.
"Stay focused." Riley cried back. Riley and Chase team up and began to attack the Vivix while Koda and Shelby charge after Iceage.
Iceage slams his hand in the ground. "Icicle Deathspike!" He shouted. Massive amounts of icicle shards protrude out of the ground as they hit the four rangers off their feet.
"When he become so good at fighting?" Koda asked.
"He must've been waiting for this moment." Riley replied.
"Well, so have I." Chase shouted as he runs towards Iceage.
"Chase, NO!" Riley screamed. With little to no luck as possible, Iceage blasts Chase with a beam which transforms Chase into an ice statue.
"The more Energems the merrier." Iceage laughed.
Riley started crying. "I can't believe he sacrificed himself for me." Riley's sadness overcame and turned into pure enragement. Riley draws out his sword as he began slashing Iceage repeatedly. "I won't let you freeze my boyfriend ever again."
Iceage began sparking until he explodes into nothing. With Riley dropping his sword, he demorphs and runs away, crying. Shelby follows along. Both Tyler and Chase sacrificed themselves to keep their lovers alive. Koda eventually follows along, with Tyler and Chase's Energem glowing, meaning that they were still alive.
It has roughly been five hours since the alleged death of Shelby's boyfriend Tyler and Riley's hotshot Chase. Both Riley and Shelby hugged each other tight whilst bursting into tears. They try not to let their negative emotions overcome them, but it didn't work. Keeper walks in and finds his Pink Triceratops and Green Velociraptor weeping in infinite sorrow.
"Dear children." Keeper comes in, with his warm, positive energy. "What is the matter?"
Riley and Shelby rush in and give Keeper a hug, weeping. Keeper smiles, with his hands on their shoulders.
"What's the matter?" He asked. "I don't like seeing you two upset. Velociraptors and Triceratops are considered emotional Dinosaurs."
Shelby spoke. "Iceage killed Tyler and Chase which led to Riley killing Iceage."
"Not true." Keeper smiled with warmth. "Their Energems confirm otherwise."
"How?" Riley asked, with his eyes still watering.
Keeper gets up and creates a portal. "Kendall will tell you the details. If I told you, it'd go against everything I know." Keeper smiles again as he leaves, with the portal closing.
"Miss Morgan?" Shelby spoke. "About the Energems. Is it true?"
Kendall lets out a little chuckle. "It's been like that since me and Chase found Koda. His Energem kept his physical appearance after being stuck in ice for 100,000 years."
Riley wipes his eyes. "So, Koda was a major example?"
"Indeed." Kendall replied, smiling. "He sacrificed himself to save his brother, Taku, just like how Tyler sacrificed himself to save Shelby, and Chase sacrificed himself to save you."
Riley and Shelby hug Miss Morgan as they both kneel on the floor.
"Don't worry, my darlings." She softly spoke. "Everything will be alright, I promise."
Chapter 5[]
Continuing from the previous chapter, both Shelby and Riley had been mourning over the potential loss of their boyfriends. Kendall continues comforting them before being called by Keeper.
"I'll be back, you two." Kendall spoke, smiling warmly.
Shelby and Riley both nod, following along with a: "Please do." as she leaves. Riley and Shelby get up from the ground and hug tightly.
A few hours had passed since the battle between the rangers and Iceage, and the alleged death of Tyler and Chase. The ice had started melting with the frozen bodies breaking free, terribly cold in return. Tyler and Chase huddle for warmth, as they head over to the museum.
"W-w-we should-d be careful i-in case an out-tlaw comes to stop-p us." Tyler spoke, stuttering.
"N-no worries, mate." Chase responded, shivering.
Chase and Tyler arrive at the museum and find their lovers standing by the doors talking about planning a revenge course on Sledge and his team. Silence then filled the room as soon as the door opens. No one spoke. No one laughed, no one smiled. Riley and Chase run up to each other and huddle whilst they both burst into tears, while Shelby runs at Tyler, weeping.
"Don't you ever do that again." Riley cried.
Chase continued crying whilst stroking his head. "I won't, I promise."
Chase smothers Riley in hugs and kisses while Shelby jumps at Tyler as they both began crying. Kendall walks in with Koda as they both find the two crying boyfriends, a crying girlfriend, and the girlfriend's crying boyfriend. She sheds a tear while Koda was bawling his eyes out.
Back at Sledge's ship, a pack of Vivix return with the remains of Iceage as they walk towards the main cockpit. Sledge was busy talking to Poisandra. As soon as they enter, Sledge finds them standing with icy blue parts.
"What happened to Iceage?" Sledge asked, getting slightly furious.
The Vivix create a racket trying to explain the situation with detail. Sledge slams his hand on the armrest on his chair as he began to sit down.
"The green ranger killed Iceage after he froze his boyfriend Chase?" He questioned.
They nod.
"Bring me another outlaw, Wrench. I will not stop until I get their Energems."
"Yes, Master Sledge." Wrench responded. He leaves in advance. Sledge turns back to face Poisandra.
"Are you done?" She snapped. "We were supposed to be planning the wedding."
"Poisy, dear." Sledge saddened. "Please understand that it's taking longer than expected."
She grows furious. "You say that every day you scrap pile." She snapped again.
Wrench arrives with Scrapper. "Here is the new outlaw, Master."
Sledge turns around and sees Scrapper.
"Ah, Scrapper." Sledge smiled. "It's been a while since I last saw you. How are things?"
"Not too bad, master." He responded. "I am here to capture the Energems."
"Perfect." Sledge grinned. "Keep me informed on the progress."
Enter the Museum. Everything was pitch black. Kendall had given them the day off due to what happened in the fight. The physical trauma had slammed Chase down like a wrestler, he didn't want to feel it again. Chase promised his boyfriend that he'll stay with him and not sacrifice himself. Riley had then since been clingy due to what happened to Chase. Chase finds it alright since after what he did to save the team.
Inside their base, Keeper and Kendall were discussing about the remaining Energems they needed to get their hands on. They mentioned the Gold Energem.
"We must locate the Gold Energem." Keeper added on.
"Should we tell the rangers?" Kendall asked.
"Yes. The rangers must be informed about this." Keeper answered. Keeper walks to the second charging stations where the other five Energems are kept; there were none present, they still had yet to be found. Kendall grabs her phone and contacts the rangers, for their new mission. Within 20 full minutes, Tyler, Shelby, Koda, Chase and Riley walk over into the base after spending five minutes crying, thinking that they'd repeat the same performance.
"What's going on?" Tyler asked, wiping his eyes.
"We are discussing about the Gold Energem which has yet to be found." Keeper responded. He walks to grab his staff, and points to the five other charging stations. "We have a lot of work to do in the near future. Prepare yourselves, I know you won't fail."
"You can count on us." Tyler light-heartedly responded.
The five rangers take their leave before Chase and Riley are halted by Keeper, who calls out a...
"Wait a minute, you two."
...as Chase and Riley stopped to turn around. The other three had already left, and Kendall was busy making sure nothing bad was going on, like a monster attack. Keeper stood with the staff in his hands.
"From what I've seen. You two have grown a special bond." Keeper spoke. "You two seem to love each other very, very much." Chase and Riley both laughed nervously. Keeper points to the five charging stations that lacked Energems. "You two both know what must be done. Collect the other five Energems, then we'll be able to continue our mission as rangers."
They both nod, before Riley checks the time on his watch. "We're gonna have to shoot off, Keeper."
"Very well, Chase and Riley." Keeper warm-heartedly replied, waving slowly. "We will meet again tomorrow at sunrise, we'll continue this mission from here."
As soon as Chase and Riley take their leave, the scene switches to Sledge's ship in outer space. Sledge was sitting on his seat which was surrounded by a bunch of working Vivix, and Wrench. Poisandra enters the main cockpit as she lets out a sigh.
"Surely Fury hasn't told you about the news." she spoke in a confusing manner.
"What?" Sledge asked. "Is it about the Energems?"
"Better." she jumped for joy. "Fury's got this strange power... it derives from the Gold Energem."
"WHAT?!" he snapped, jumping out of his seat. "You're telling me that all this time, Fury had been keeping the Gold Energem from us?!"
"No, Sledgums." she shook her head. "He's trying to get rid of this power in order to give you the Energem. I'm not an expert with remembering what Fury told me."
Later, Fury enters the room, walking in with his usual grumpy tone.
"Speaking of the Energem thief, where's the Gold Energem?" Sledge asked.
Fury looked at Sledge, then at Poisandra. "Turns out it was the Ptera Charger, not the Energem. We've been misconstrued."
"So what does that mean?"
"It means, you dithering dunderhead, that the Gold Energem still has to be found. Since those pesky brats lack an Energem tracking device, we still have the advantage."

- Chiley becomes canon officially by both Benzarro85 and Riley Griffin's actor, Michael Taber, with Michael Taber confirming the existence of Chiley, Riley being gay and having feelings for Chase all on Twitter.
- This filler episode is the first episode which does not involve Ben Tennyson or anyone from Ben 10: Into the Omniverse, a major reason being how Ben 10 has no relation to Power Rangers Dino Charge whatsoever.
- This is the first filler episode with the newly written episode format, similar to the writing format shown in Multiverse vs. Tennyson, a series by XxXWitheredToyBonniexXx.
- If this episode were canon to the original Into the Omniverse continuity, this episode would have explained the backstory of how Chase and Riley got together in the show. However, this is unfortunately not the case.
- This episode creates a separate continuity in both Ben 10: Into the Omniverse and Power Rangers: Dino Charge known as the Chiley arc. This arc is basically after the events of this episode, technically making this episode a part of the arc overall.
