Synopsis[]
A new figure has emerged in Undertown but is it good or bad, and who is it?
Episode[]
It’s a great day in Bellwood. The sun is shining at its maximum. There is a small breeze flowing through the busy streets….
Then, near Mr. Smoothy, the ground explodes. Everyone is shocked in utter confusion. From the hole flies out a muscular grey man on a hover board. Everybody stops panicking, but right after that, an orange and pale yellow aircraft flies out of the hole, chasing the grey man. Inside the ship is the wielder of the Omnitrix, Ben Tennyson, and his partner, Rook.
“Sunder must have upgraded his hover board as I am still not able to bring the Proto-Truck near him,” said Rook.
“Then how did it go into hyper-drive in our trip!” Ben exclaims.
“Don’t you remember what happened to it?” Rook replies. Ben groans.
“Fine, I’ll go,” Ben says while dialing the Omnitrix. He transforms into Big Chill, turns intangible, flies out and zooms to Sunder. He, reaching above Sunder, turns tangible again. He tries to sneakily use his Ice Breath on Sunder, but Sunder has already spotted him from the corner of his eye and dodges the attack. He then makes a loop above Big Chill, while letting his axe wrap around Big Chill.
“What do you think you’re doing Tennyson?” Sunder mocks.
Big Chill turns intangible again and releases himself from the grip of the axe. He then transforms into Ghostfreak and flies towards Sunder.
“Let’s see how much control you have over your consciousssss,” said Ghostfreak while going in and possessing Sunder’s body. Sunder starts making vigorous movements. Suddenly he stops. “Finally! I guess Sunder had somewhat a strong conscious,” Ghostfreak says from Sunder’s mouth. Then he holds his head in pain. “What! How is this possible!” Ghostfreak exclaims from Sunder’s mouth. “Let…. go…. off…. ME!” says Sunder, after which Ghostfreak exits his body and hits a nearby building. Ghostfreak rubs his head.
Sunder looks back and laughs. He turns around, stops in one position and says, “What’s wrong Tennyson, can’t you catch the Greatest Bounty Hunter of all time?!”
He then laughs, but then opens his hand in shock, “What! Whe-ere is it?!” He looks around and spots Ghostfreak holding the ½ Annihilargh in his hand. He ‘roars’ in anger and flies straight at Ghostfreak. Ghostfreak turns intangible; which leads to the ½ Annihilargh to drop, only to be caught by Sunder who goes straight through him.
Sunder laughs and flies up to the top of the nearby skyscraper. That’s when Astrodactyl punches him off his hoverboard to the roof of the skyscraper. Sunder gets up and looks at the ½ Annihilargh, which was dropped just a few inches away from him. He tries to grab it but an energy whip, right at that moment, pulls his arms back. Sunder easily pulls Astrodactyl from behind to in front of him. Astrodactyl gets up, only to be knocked off the skyscraper by Sunder. Sunder’s hoverboard returns to him, on which Sunder hops on, and they leave.
Astrodactyl awakens just a few miles before his doom; he saves himself by giving a propulsion blast from his Jetpack and reaching the skyscraper’s roof again. He transforms back into Ben and hops on the roof of the Proto-Truck 2.0, that just flies past him, and enters it.

Sunder looks at his left arm and a hologram appears with someone’s location. “He’s back in Undertown!” Sunder exclaims and then swears. He turns back and flies to the hole he made earlier.

Ben points at a tiny figure on a hoverboard that is going near the hole from earlier, Rook looks and then turns the Proto-Truck 2.0 towards the hole.

Sunder is about to reach the hole when the Proto-Truck 2.0 flies over the hole, blocking it. He swears again, takes out his axe, throws it and clings it forcefully on the Proto-Truck 2.0. He flies over the Truck to the other side and give a strong pull. The Proto-Truck 2.0 flies all the way up in the sky, lands down, bounces a bit and skids to a halt. Ben opens the door and staggers out just to see Sunder fly into the hole. Ben runs to the hole, while calling to Rook who just staggered out, “I’ll go after him, you can wait for Plumbers to come!”
Ben jumps into the hole onto one of the many pipes and spots Sunder flying away.

“Ah, there it is,” Sunder spots a bigger gap for him to go through. He slows down, only to be webbed in the face. He hears monkey noises. He rips off the web to see Spidermonkey. “A Necrofriggian, an Ectonurite, a Maclawsion; all these three were not able to defeat me,” Sunder points out, “So you think a primitive Arachnichimp can stop me?”
Ben uses his web to snatch the ½ Annihilargh and then says, “I sure do”
Spidermonkey goes through the gap, being followed by a furious Sunder. Spidermonkey jumps on the roofs of various stalls and homes, trying to escape Sunder’s sight; But Sunder keeps getting closer. Sunder finally reaches him, grabs him by the tail, takes the weapon and throws Spidermonkey a mile away. He then, without stopping for a break, moves on.

Sunder reaches the tallest roof to find Psyphon waiting for him. “What took you so long?” Psyphon asks. “Tennyson,” Sunder replies.
“Well do you have it?” Psyphon asks.
Sunder shows the ½ Annihilargh. Psyphon tries to take it, but Sunder closes his hand. “The payment,” Sunder orders. Psyphon smiles and then says, “Ah yes.” He then takes out a pouch. Sunder takes it and then gives Psyphon the weapon. He then hovers behind Psyphon and opens the pouch and only sees acorns. He crushes them in his hand in fury and turns to scream at Psyphon when suddenly a Mana projected log hits him off his feet. He rubs his head and looks up to see Gwen make a Mana whip that ties itself on him. He turns to Psyphon and asks, “What are you doing just standing there?”
Psyphon puts his hand on his face and pulls it. He morphs into Kevin, who pulls off the ID mask completely. Sunder is both confused and shocked. “B-but…,” He mumbles and then asks, “So you gave me the order?” Kevin shakes his head in disagreement and pulls off a large piece of cloth which had something beneath it. Psyphon straitens his back after the cloth is pulled off but stays put. He also has a Mana whip tied around him, but till his mouth. He looks annoyed.
Astrodactyl and Rook reach there with Astrodactyl carrying him. They land there and Astrodactyl transformed back into Ben.
“YOU KNEW!” Sunder exclaimed in shock. Ben laughed. “We knew since Psyphon ordered it,” Ben replies, “But we wanted to capture you, get the ½ Annilargh, whatever that is, and of course catch Psyphon.”
Sunder grunts. “I will call Blukic and Driba t-” Rook said before the roof starts to tilt drastically. Everyone starts to panic. Gwen loses her focus, which causes the Mana whips to end and Sunder and Psyphon are free. Sunder jumps on Kevin to grab the ½ Annilargh while Psyphon runs to the other end of the roof. Sunder is able to knock Kevin out of conscious but then a Mana whip, from some other roof, ties itself to the weapon and pulls it out of Sunder’s hand and sight. Sunder swears and then jumps off the roof, only to stand on his hoverboard and fly away.
Meanwhile, Ben is the first one to fall. He, right in time, transforms into Gravattack and turns himself into his Planetoid form and floats safely to the ground. There, he turns back to his original form and uses his Gravikinesis to push the building back into place; but Kevin, right at that point falls. Gravattack uses his free hand to stop Kevin’s fall, and give him a safe landing.

Gwen looks behind to see no sign of Psyphon but notices someone on the pipes who, for a spilt second, was about to throw a Mana disk at Gwen. The ‘shadow’ stops and runs away. Gwen gets up, makes a Mana platform and flies near the pipes but finds no one. She then shakes her head, sighs and flies back to the roof.
She reaches Ben, Rook and Kevin. “What’s wrong,” Ben asks, worried, “who was up there?”
Gwen shakes her head, “No one. I thought I saw an Anodite.”
Gwen then changes the subject, “So…. what now?”
“We can have lunch,” Kevin suggests, “How about Burger Shack?”
Ben shakes his head in disagreement, “Billy owns both Mr. Smoothy and Burger Shack. The next thing you know; he would have poisoned our orders from behind bars.”
“Then where else should we have lunch?” Kevin asks.
Rook looks at Ben. Ben groans then takes out his phone. He dials a number and someone from the other side picks up.
“Hi Mom,” Ben replies to the caller.

Steamed Tofu and Wheat Germ with Algae drops on Ben’s plate. “I can’t express how much I am happy that you four have come to eat some healthy food for once and none of that junk,” said Ben’s mother, Sandra Tennyson.
Kevin looks at his large scoop. He touches it with a fork in disgust. He wonders why Ben’s mom gave him the biggest scoop. Sandra, as if reading Kevin’s thought, replies, “You’re the biggest and with most muscles here so you need extra. Now eat.”
Kevin takes a tiny, miniature part on his fork. “That’s not enough. Didn’t Mary teach you how to eat, she is so well-mannered.” Kevin talks a bit more. Sandra rolls her eyes, takes Kevin’s fork and puts a large chunk of it into his mouth. “There. Now start eating, all of you,” said Sandra.
Kevin reluctantly gulps and then shivers in disgust. Sandra looks at Gwen and Ben, annoyed. “What is wrong with you three? If you don’t know how to eat, copy Rook,” pointed Sandra. Kevin, Ben and Gwen look at Rook in pure hatred.
Suddenly the bell rings. Sandra smiles. She opens the door to meet Ma Vreedle, Octagon, Rhomboid and some of her Pretty Boys.
“Ah! So glad you could join us Vree!” Sandra exclaimed in delight, “You have to excuse the four behind me. They just came from stopping crime, so I gave them early.”
“No worries!” Ma Vreedle said happily.
“Could you all just move aside from the door’s view for a second,” said Sandra. All the Vreedles moved aside while Sandra walked back to the table. She placed her finger on a button, under the table. After she clicked it, the table whirred and shivered, and then stretched itself all the way to the end of the garden. It then shivered again and produced chairs.
Sandra looks at Ben, Rook, Kevin and Gwen’s startled face and replies to them, “I bought this from Undertown.”

Everyone is eating Steamed Tofu and Wheat Germ with Algae and talking.
Ma Vreedle then shushes everyone and talks to Gwen, “What’s your name again? …. Gwezel …no ...Gwen ...yeah …Gwen, right?”
Gwen nods. Ma Vreedle continues, “You an Anodite?”
Gwen nods again.
“Do you know any other Anodite who lives here?”
“You mean except for Ben?”
“Someone out of your family?”
“No”
“Well, forget about it then.”
“What’s wrong Vree?” Sandra asked. “Well, basically I went with your suggestion and have started farming and selling crops,” Ma Vreedle replies.
“That’s great! But what does it have to do with Anodites?”
“Well basically there is this new ‘vigilante’ in Undertown. Well, I think it’s better to call them a Psycho. This new Psycho is an Anodite.”
“So what’s the problem?”
“So this new Psycho I always helps the innocent but sometimes steals from them, especially my crops. She is called the Purple Shadow. No one knows her real name or face, except for the crime bosses from Undertown. 5 years ago, I would’ve also known but not anymore.”
Ma Vreedle changes the subject and everyone starts to laugh and talk; except for Gwen, who goes into her thoughts.

It’s night. The sky is filled with dark grey clouds, who are warning about a thunderstorm. A dark figure sneaks onto the roof of Frank and Natalie Tennyson’s house. It creeps near the window of Gwen’s room and looks into it. Gwen is fast asleep in her bed.

Gwen’s eyes open an inch as she turns to the other side of her bed. That’s when she notices it.
A woman in a purple jacket with a purple mask is about to kill her with a Mana generated knife. Just as the Purple shadow ‘throws’ the knife, Gwen makes a Mana shield to protect herself. She then ends the projection and kicks the Purple Shadow of her feet, but the woman just stretched out her arms and changed her fall into a backflip.
“So, we finally meet,” Gwen said, while taking a breath. The Purple Shadow, without saying a word makes a Mana disc and throws it at Gwen. Gwen makes another Mana shield then, after blocking the attack, throws it at the woman. Purple Shadow only straitens her arm towards the incoming Mana projection and it whirls into a tiny ball, stopping inches from her hand. It then shoots back at such a speed that Gwen is not able to react and is pushed so hard that she breaks window and falls to the ground. Just inches away from her doom, she makes a Mana ‘rubber’ platform to bounce on and stop her fall. She bounces on it and lands on the ground.
Just as she gets up, a Mana whip hits her stomach, making a deep cut. Gwen covers it with her hand, in shock, and falls on her knees barely able to hold herself.
Purple Shadow walks slowly to the shivering, in pain, Gwen and makes a Mana axe over her neck. She is about to slice off Gwen’s head when a giant Yellow ball with black stripes comes out of nowhere and hits her to the neighbor’s garden. Cannonbolt transforms back into Ben and runs towards Gwen. Until he reaches, Gwen is lying on the ground, trying to resist the pain. Ben quickly transforms into Snare-Oh and wraps some of his skin on Gwen’s cut and breaks it off from himself. He transforms into XLR8, grabs Gwen in his arms and runs to the nearest hospital.
Until then, Purple Hood retrieves her conscious, looks around to not see even a sign of Gwen, except for her blood, and teleports away.

Ben and Kevin are sitting in the waiting room as the door to their right opens and a doctor comes out. “You brought her only minutes before it would have been too late,” the doctor remarks and then adds when Kevin tries to go in, “I would suggest that you both stay out for tonight and let her sleep.”
Kevin turns around and goes back to the seat next to Ben’s. “When will she be able to leave?” Ben asked. “Luckily, due to the new tech we have from Undertown, she will be in tip top shape by tomorrow.”
Ben and Gwen took a breath of relief. After the doctor left, Kevin said, “So who’s staying here for the night?”

Gwen leaves the hospital with Kevin and Ben. “How did you find out about the fight?” Gwen asked Ben when they entered Kevin’s car. “I actually was walking to get groceries for Mom when I heard a window shattering from your house,” replied Ben, “Why was Purple Shadow attacking you?”
“I don’t know, but she tried it before too when we were dealing with Psyphon.”
“You think she caused the building to collapse?”
Gwen thought for a moment then nodded. Ben was about to say something when Rook’s voice started coming out of the Omnitrix.
“Ben do you hear me? I repeat, Ben do you hear me?” the voice said. “Loud and clear Rook,” Ben replied. There came a loud explosion from the other side. “Where are you Rook?” Ben asked.

A laser nearly misses Rook, who just left his safe point to shoot at one of the alien goons. “The Plumbers located Psyphon and sent a me and a whole army of other Plumbers to retrieve the ½ Annilargh,” Rook replied, “But there are too many.”
“We’re on our way Roo-…,” the call stops. Rook wonders what happened, but then forgets about it as another beam of laser almost hits him.

“The Plumbers located Psyphon and sent a me and a whole army of other Plumbers to retrieve the ½ Annilargh, but they are too many,” Rook’s voice said.
“We’re on our Roo-, “Ben said before something below the car explodes and the car flies all the way down to earth again. Everybody gets out to see Purple Mask, just a few meters away.
“She’s a girl!” Ben exclaimed. “Is there a problem?” Gwen asked in annoyance. “Oh nothing,” Ben said in embarrassment.
She opens a portal to show Gwen’s parents hanging upside down from Mana whips and a Mana knife near their throats. Everybody is startled. She makes a ‘follow me’ gesture with her hand. They all start to walk, before she gives a stop gesture and points at Gwen. Gwen takes a deep breath and said, “You guys go help Rook, I’ll deal with this”
“WHAT!” Ben and Kevin are surprised. “Gwen she almost killed you last time!” Ben reminded. “I know…. but I have no other choice,” Gwen replied, “She has my parents at gunpoint, I can’t just take a risk.”
Gwen walks into the portal, leaving behind a startled Ben and Kevin. Purple Shadow follows in and ends the portal. Gwen walks over to her parents. “Mom…Dad…I’m here, everything is going to be al-,” Gwen said before the illusion disappears. Purple Shadow and Gwen are left in an old shabby building.

“So,” said Gwen without turning to face Purple Shadow, “It was all a trick.”
Gwen turns around. “Why do you want to kill me? What have I even done to you? I don’t even know YOU!” Gwen exclaimed, furiously and makes Mana tentacles to grab her by the neck. Purple Shadow just makes a shield, blocks the attack, crushed the shield into a ball with continuous electrical shocks coming out. She throws it at Gwen. Gwen tries to block it with a shield but the shield collapses at contact and the ball hits Gwen and she is knocked to the weak wall, that breaks by Gwen’s weight and she is thrown down to the ground, which is meters away.
Gwen makes a Mana platform to hover on. She reaches down below, but a Mana laser breaks the glass and Gwen falls on the ground. She gets up and blocks a Mana whip attack on her stomach. “You should really start making new moves,” Gwen smirked while throwing Mana discs at Purple Shadow. Purple Shadow blocks them some of them, until the last few exploded on her face. She is blinded for a few seconds, which is all that Gwen needs to come near and do a Crescent kick then, while Purple Shadow is falling, do a powerful uppercut. Purple Shadow falls back on the ground but uses it to her advantage by making a Mana whip to pull Gwen off her guard. Gwen gets up to be punched back on the ground by a Mana fist.
Gwen trembles as she gets up. Purple Shadow raises her hand and Mana chains arise from the ground and chain themselves on her wrists and ankles. She slowly walks towards Gwen, while projecting a Mana knife. Gwen closes her eyes and then opens them to show pink shining light. “Silicus Milez Sasitatio!” exclaimed Gwen. Stone Creatures arise from the ground and cover up Purple Shadow, who forgets that she is projecting the chains. The chains vanish and Gwen flies up on a Mana platform. She then exclaimed, “Eradiko!”
The stone creatures cracked and exploded on Purple Shadow and she falls to the ground. She gets up and heavily breathes. She’s bleeding from the arms, legs and even on the cheek. She straightens up to find a Mana knife inches away from her forehead. Gwen slowly flies downwards to the ground. “Who are you?” Gwen asked in an elevated voice.
The mask on Purple Shadow slowly contracts until it reaches her neck. Gwen is startled. The Mana knife disappears. “S-S-Sunny,” Gwen stuttered. Sunny smiles and says, “Hi cuzz.”
Sunny slowly walks backwards until she meters away. “That was a great battle,” she smirks. She bows down and says, “We’ll be meeting very soon…. I hope”
Gwen is paralyzed in utter confusion. Sunny salutes and teleports away, leaving a startled Gwen in her thoughts.
