Plot[]
A party has occurred in downtown London, with the puddles of rain reflect colours from afar and nearby. Inside the building, people were doing many things: dancing, drinking, snogging etc. There, the four young adults were standing together in the far right corner, with bottles of alcohol, as the lights from inside began changing colour: from blue, to pink.
After the party was over, everyone else except the four had left. They were sitting on the stools facing the bar, casually drinking.
(Jay): Tonight was fun.
They began to finish their drinks. After they finished the latter, they began to head home in Simon's yellow car, with a door who's painted red, after getting destroyed back in Thorpe Park. As soon as Simon started the car, he quickly opens the car window and sticks his head out, vomiting.
(Jay): Oh for fuck's sake, Si. Do you really need to do that?
(Simon): I wouldn't if I didn't drink too much.
They drove off, heading home. There, they go past a bunch of monuments such as the London Eye and Trafalgar Square. After they left London, they head back to Ruislip, their home town, as school was the next day. As soon as Simon arrived to Jay's, Neil had dozed off, while Will's face had turned green, while Jay looked tired.
(Jay): Alright, benders. I'm off. See you lot tomorrow.
Jay gets out of Simon's car as he walks home, with Simon's car driving off to Will's. As soon as that happened, a bright red flash appears with Exo-Skull and Subdora approaching the foreground. Subdora grabs out a device which locates another Time Beast egg, needed to be taken for use.
(Subdora): I'm sure the egg is supposed to be around here somewhere.
She yawns in drowsiness, as her eyes began to close slowly. Exo-Skull picks her up and heads on down somewhere to camp for the night.
A few hours ago, Ben and Rook come across an explosion which occurred in Undertown, with Exo-Skull and Subdora fleeing the scene. Ben transforms into Bloxx and morphs himself into a catapult, to which Rook climbs into. Bloxx flings Rook over as he smacks right into Subdora, with his Proto-TOOL in his hand. Bloxx is slammed by Exo-Skull, while Rook was fighting Subdora; with her elegant ballet dances dodging his attacks.
(Bloxx): How many times do you guys want to cause havoc? This is the second time I've seen you two up to no good.
Bloxx gets up and morphs his hands into cannons as he began to fire Lego bricks at Exo-Skull which made him back away, trying not to get hit. Meanwhile, Rook gets the upper hand as he traps Subdora in his net. While Subdora was trapped, Bloxx switches into Arctiguana and trips Exo-Skull up by freezing the ground with solid ice, causing him to crash into a brick wall, defeated. Arctiguana transforms back into Ben momentarily.
(Ben): Maybe you should put an icepack on that.
He laughs.
Paradox enters the area and finds Subdora trapped, and Exo-Skull with his head through the brick wall.
(Paradox): Dear me, the lovebirds have decided to fight again.
(Ben): Tell me about it.
Exo-Skull pushes his head out of the hole and ambushes the three heroes. He grabs Subdora who breaks free. She grabs a device which began to flash red.
(Ben): What is that?
(Subdora): It is a Time Beast egg locator, it gives us the exact location of where the egg is stored.
They teleport off into London, repeating the exact same scene, with Subdora growing tired, and Exo-Skull taking her to shelter so they could rest. Ben scratches his head.
(Ben): I don't get it. Why do they need a Time Beast egg?
(Paradox): I believe it has something to do with Maltruant.
The sun was rising as the sky began to turn into a gorgeous orange colour, as the night sky turned purple. Ben and Rook entered Paradox's portal as they began to look around in speculation. Ben activates the map on the Omnitrix, revealing their presence in Ruislip, London.
(Ben): We're in London, we'll stay here for a while until needed for return.
(Rook): Got it.
The scene switches to Rudge Park Comprehensive. Enter Jay, Neil, Simon and Will, hanging around in the corners of the courtyard gates. The sky had just finished turning grey, as it normally does in England. Some parts of the sky had darker grey clouds which depicted that it would rain shortly.
(Jay): Don't tell me it's going to rain.
(Simon): Jay, it's Britain we're on about, of course it's going to rain.
The school bells rings with Mr. Gilbert, the sixth form head teacher waiting by the entrance of the school. The young kids, around year 8, and the sixth form kids enter, following along were the four boys. Meanwhile, as the gates, and the doors closed, Exo-Skull and Subdora enter the scene.
(Exo-Skull): This is the place where the egg is supposed to be.
The machine began to flash red with a constant speed. Subdora touches the ground and caresses it, watching as the dirt began to show her hand movement, like sand on a sandy beach. A red patch was shown below, which assumed to be the egg. As soon as that took place, Subdora grabs hold of it, to find out that it was none other than a drain pipe.
(Subdora): It's just a drain pipe.
Exo-Skull grabs it and puts it back into place carefully. Meanwhile, Ben and Rook enter and find Exo-Skull and Subdora still in search for the egg.
(Ben): Looking for something?
Exo-Skull looks up to see Ben standing with his hands on his hips. He points at him with his fat finger, as Subdora covered up the drainpipe with the dirt it was originally kept inside.
(Exo-Skull): None of this concerns you, Tennyson.
Ben dials the Omnitrix.
(Ben): Is that so? Remind me why you guys are searching for the Time Beast egg.
Exo-Skull grew hesitant to speak. Subdora butts in.
(Subdora): This does not concern you.
Ben was continuing the dialling on the Omnitrix. After finding the perfect alien for the job, in this case, Humungousaur, Ben transforms into AmpFibian. AmpFibian throws a thunderbolt as it hit Exo-Skull, while Subdora dashes towards Rook as he grabs his Proto-TOOL and uses it as a staff to block her attacks.
(AmpFibian): If I was Humungousaur, you wouldn't be able to see the light of day again.
(Exo-Skull): Aww, is that a death threat?
Exo-Skull whacks AmpFibian over towards a brick wall. The wall breaks, revealing the presence of several students. AmpFibian gets up as he transforms back into Ben. A few kids, in Year 8, run towards Ben with their phones in their hands. A kid, called Danny Moore, grabs his phone as soon as Ben transforms into Feedback.
(Danny): I think I found my new favourite alien.
Feedback runs towards Exo-Skull as he shoots him with his electric blasts. Exo-Skull, in retaliation, fires lasers at Feedback who absorbs them momentarily. Feedback jumps onto Exo-Skull and electrocutes him to the point he collapses in defeat; with Rook taking down Subdora, Feedback jumps down, transforming back into Ben.
(Ben): That should stop them for now, but we shall wait in case if they decide to attack again.
A group of children start running towards Ben and Rook with their phones in their hands. With Ben and Rook backing away, they make a run for it, running through the courtyard gates and into the school grounds. It wasn't until a few sixth form kids walk out of the building and find Ben and his partner on the run.
(Carli): It's Ben 10! After him!
Every sixth form kid starts barging through the doors, chasing after Ben, who in attempt, tries to escape. Ben transforms into Ditto and duplicates himself into four, in order to separate the large crowd. Ditto's running comes to a halt as soon as he comes in contact with the four boys, who look down to find Ditto, trying to make an escape; this then resulted on them chasing after him, just seconds after Carli messaged Simon about Ben's arrival.
(Ditto): I knew this would happen.
Ditto takes a shortcut and arrives in the cafeteria with John Webster eating his yoghurt until Ditto teps his foot into it, causing himself to slip and smack straight onto the floor. Ditto, after trying to get away, transforms back into Ben, with everyone else entering the cafeteria. Suddenly, Mr. Gilbert walks in and finds a huge mess, Ben sitting on the ground with yoghurt on his shoe, and everyone standing around with their phones in their hands.
(Mr. Gilbert): What the fuck is all this?
Everyone started sharing their part of the story, creating a racket until Mr. Gilbert clicks his fingers, creating an even louder noise, causing everyone to become silent. Mr. Gilbert faces Ben who gets up and dusts himself off.
(Mr. Gilbert): You! You're coming with me to my office.
(Ben): Why me?
(Mr. Gilbert): Don't ask questions! Move!
Mr. Gilbert leaves the cafeteria with Ben following along behind; everyone else decided to head back into class. After walking for about a few minutes, they arrive at his office, with a huge stack of paper on his desk, with the window and blinds open, letting the cold air bleed into the office, making any visitor who entered his office cold, just how he liked it. Mr. Gilbert sits down on his chair and tucks himself in, while Ben was standing around, completely confused. After Mr. Gilbert points to the chair directly opposite to his desk, Ben politely sits down.
(Mr. Gilbert): So... you're probably wondering why I brought you here.
(Ben): Honestly... not really. I wanted to thank you for getting me away from everyone.
(Mr. Gilbert): Whatever. Everyone in this school act like little shits, so it's kinda expected.
With Ben looking confused, the scene switches to the Common Room, where everyone hangs around. There, Carli was sitting down on one of the sofas directly next to an ottoman which had a bunch of feminine magazines, along with newspapers. Charlotte, another girl in the same year, sits down directly next to her as she was on her phone, keeping herself occupied.
(Carli): Have you heard that Ben 10 is at our school?
Charlotte cocked her head up and faces Carli in confusion, whilst turning her phone off.
(Charlotte): No...? When was this?
(Carli): Just over half an hour ago.
Charlotte looks at her Instagram feed to find everyone she's following posting about Ben's arrival. With Charlotte closing the app in shock, Ben walks out of the building while Rook was waiting for him. Ben and Rook head off until stopped by Carli.
(Carli): Wait.
Ben and Rook both turn around and face Carli who stops just after they turned around.
(Ben): Yes?
(Carli): I'm Carli, it was a pleasure to meet you.
(Ben): Oh, we were just leaving in order to take down a bunch of bad guys.
(Carli): The villains can wait. Come on, we've got plenty of time until school's over.
Ben and Rook face each other in mere confusion with them following along as soon as Carli started walking back into the courtyard. They stop as soon as Carli gets a message from Charlotte.
(Carli): Oops, gotta go. Catch you two later.
She runs off as soon as Ben waves goodbye. Meanwhile, Exo-Skull and Subdora get up from the battle which took place an hour ago and decide to make an escape so Ben doesn't catch them off guard. As soon as they escape, they quickly began to search for the Time Beast egg as originally intended. With that out of the way, the camera returns to Ben and Rook, sitting on a bench nearby.
(Ben): Ugh, we're supposed to be taking down Exo-Skull and Subdora.
(Rook): Yes, but now is the time to greet ourselves to the students here.
(Ben): There's no point, they already know who we are anyways.
The school bell rings. After a few seconds had passed, children from end to end began walking out of the building and into the courtyard. They stop to find themselves in contact with Ben and Rook, who try to back away. The kids find themselves in a situation where Ben and Rook try to escape, for the second time.
(Mark): Hey Ben 10, could you turn into something?
Ben grows hesitant, but then comes up with an idea. He dials the Omnitrix.
(Ben): Sure.
Ben slams the faceplate of the Omnitrix which transforms him into Humungousaur. He roars at the top of his lungs in attempt to scare the huge crowd, to no avail. Everyone began taking pictures of Humungousaur and posting it on Instagram, gaining likes, comments and followers; Ben's plan failed.
(Rook): Maybe you should stop jumping into conclusions of your problems, Ben.
(Humungousaur): I guess you're right, Rook.
Humungousaur taps on the Omnitrix which transforms him back into Ben as he sighs in pure disappointment that he didn't want an over-exaggerated paparazzi. To fit in with the school, Ben walks into the building and decides to attend a class.
A few minutes have passed. Ben was sitting down in the Common Room while everyone else was gossiping about Ben's approach to the school. It wasn't until Simon and Neil enter the Common Room after having to put up with Mark Donovan's shenanigans.
(Simon): Ha, check it out! Ben Tennyson is in our school!
(Neil): You're joking!
Ben grows tired of being recognised by the public. Simon and Neil head over to Jay and Will and began to sit with them. Feeling alone, Ben gets up and joins them. Meanwhile, elsewhere, Exo-Skull and Subdora finally enter downtown Ruislip with the locator machine, still in search for the Time Beast egg.
(Subdora): It's no use, we can't find it anywhere.
Suddenly, the machine detects the Time Beast egg, located near Kevin Sutherland, Neil's father's front garden. Subdora races over towards the area as she began to dig. Within two minutes of digging, they find themselves the egg they've been wanting to get their hands on since the very beginning.
(Subdora): We did it!
Back at the school, Ben was still hanging around with the main four in the geography classroom with the teacher, Mr. Kennedy, who Jay believes is a pedo, after being caught touching children, though those accusations were confirmed false. While the four boys were busy taking the piss out of Neil's dad, Ben was fiddling with the Omnitrix, trying to entertain himself. Without realising, Ben unintentionally transforms himself into Snare-Oh as he slips and falls off his chair.
(Snare-Oh): Aww man, this is so embarrassing.
Jay, Neil, Simon and Will lean over to find Snare-Oh on the ground, who gets up and transforms back into Ben momentarily. Ben sits back down on his chair as lesson was about to begin. Mr. Kennedy walks towards the whiteboard as he began to write the date, being Thursday 31st January, 2008; Ben catches his attention to this as he figured out that he and Rook didn't travel into a different dimension, but rather back in time.
(Jay): Calm down, mess pot, you'll be alright.
(Ben): I would be if I didn't travel so many years into the past.
(Simon): What are you on about?
Ben began to explain in clear detail that he is from the future. Despite not understanding a word Ben was saying, Jay and the other three began to think whether Ben was lying. Ben then explains that he travelled back in time in order to stop Exo-Skull and Subdora from taking the Time Beast egg they needed.
(Jay): If you're really from the future, what happened to us as a whole?
Ben began stuttering, trying to recall memories, until Professor Paradox enters through a portal, which caused another, but minor, paparazzi. After the minor paparazzi was over, Professor Paradox walks over to Ben and the other four.
(Paradox): I got your message, Benjamin.
(Ben): But I didn't message you, or, I would have done somewhere.
(Paradox): Well, you see, as a time travelling expert, the main four won't change for the better nor the worse. Mr. Sutherland in a few months time will be peeing inside a coke can, and in a few years time, you four will be taking a trip to Greece, ready for the first film.
(Ben): Paradox, I don't think-
(Paradox): Relax, Benjamin. They wouldn't understand, they'd usually forget these things until they happen.
(Ben): I still don't think it's a good idea to literally foreshadow these events though, Professor Paradox.
Paradox laughs.
(Paradox): Ah, Benjamin. You make me laugh sometimes.
Paradox creates a portal as he heads off back into the fabric of space time. As soon as the portal closes, the scene is switched to Exo-Skull and Subdora creating major havoc in the streets of London. Back at Rudge Park, Rook notices the absence of Exo-Skull and Subdora. He grabs his Plumber's Badge as he proceeds to contact Ben.
(Rook): Ben! Exo-Skull and Subdora have escaped, we must find them immediately.
(Ben): On my way!
Ben hangs up and heads out of the Common Room and heads into the Courtyard. With Ben approaching Rook, Rook grabs his Proto-TOOL and uses it as a tracking device.
(Ben): Found them?
(Rook): They're located in central London, home of the Queen.
(Ben): Let's go.
Ben and Rook head inside the Proto-TRUK as they fly off to central London. Ben transforms into Ventrilosquid as soon as Rook lands the Proto-TRUK on the ground.
(Ventrilosquid): Alright, I'll go after Subdora, I've got a plan.
(Rook): If your plan is to mind control Subdora, that won't work. Whampire is the only alien who can mind control his victims.
Ventrilosquid's head goes down in disappointment.
(Ventrilosquid): Right.
Ventrilosquid and Rook began to charge towards Exo-Skull and Subdora, who were already heading off in front. Ventrilosquid flies over towards the two, but Exo-Skull gets the upper hand; Exo-Skull grabs hold of Ventrilosquid's head as he slams him down onto the ground. Rook tackles Subdora after using Ben as a distraction, with Subdora retaliating.
(Ventrilosquid): Third time this has happened to me.
As soon as Exo-Skull was about to throw the next punch, Ventrilosquid switches into Spectrock and kicks him over to a building nearby. Spectrock gets up and finds his body changing into a different type of rock; concrete. Spectrock finds leaves and flowers growing out of him, with his overall physique becoming more durable.
(Spectrock): That's new.

Trivia[]
- This episode is chronologically set before Foreshadowing as the Timebeast egg was present. However, this episode does not take place during An American Benwolf in London as Brit Ben wasn't introduced, thus making Something Inbetween set just before the events of Foreshadowing.
- This episode would also confirm that Lyon Moreton, Soul Stanford, Brit Ben, Jay Cartwright and the other three all live in the same England in the same universe. However, this would not make sense as Brit Ben looks identical to that of Ben Prime, while Lyon and Soul would've been completely younger and Soul would've been living away from Lyon.
- Ben getting a paparazzi is relatively similar to that of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien's episode: Fame, however, the paparazzi shown in this episode is not like the one shown in Fame, as there weren't any news reporters, or any vans or helicopters surrounding the school.
- As this episode takes place before Foreshadowing, this episode takes place during the first season of The Inbetweeners, as events of seasons 2 and 3 haven't taken place yet.
