- Laika's name is also a reference to the dog sent into space by the Soviets of the same name.
- Laika's armor is a reference to Ruckus, a champion from Paladins with two miniguns for hands.
- Jules' name is a reference to the singer Julian Casablancas.
- Jules' jewel (
) is a reference to the game Paladins: Champions of the Realm, in which all characters have a similar crystal on their body, as well as a minor reference to Steven Universe. - Peaches is named after a song by POTUSA.
