Scout debuts as the main character in his own special. After completing the Plumbers academy, he returns to his home, Anur Transyl, and begins to implement the ideals of the Plumbers into society, including a democracy and elections. While opposed every step of the way by those set in the old ways, his plans succeed, as peace seems to come to the warring factions. He befriends Timore, an Ectonurite.
After Timore left to find John Smith, Prometheus accidentally revived Lord Transyl, who took over Anur Transyl, and tries to take over the entire Anur System. Scout is controlled as well, but is freed by John. He assists him until taken over again.
Scout is a professional tracker in the Plumbers, and friends with Rook Blonko. He obtained a Herpexigoose for Rook in order to defeat Ssserpent. He is the one who first noticed Jane's strawberry smell.
