Sandpit is the Biomnitrix's fusion of Erodinian and Ophidian DNA from the planets Non Precipi and Serpentis. It is a fusion of Sandbox and Snakepit.
Appearance[]
Sandpit is a four-armed humanoid snake made almost entirely of sand. He has piercing green eyes and the Biomnitrix symbol is on his forehead.
His exact appearance varies somewhat due to his shapeshifting.
Powers and Abilities[]
Sandpit is made mostly of sand, but possesses a solid sandstone skeleton underneath. His advanced control over his sand skin gives him shapeshifting ability. To this end he can also stretch his skeleton out to increase his size, although this weakens him in the process.
His sandstone skeleton makes him physically strong and highly durable. He is much better at constricting foes than Snakepit alone would be, making him incredibly powerful in this field.
His sandy flesh allows him to camouflage with ease into any sand environment, such as deserts or beaches.
He has the ability to generate venom in his hands.
Weaknesses[]
Sandpit retains none of Snakepit's weaknesses, but keeps all of Sandbox's weaknesses due to his sand-based physiology. He also loses Sandbox's ability to turn his skeleton into sand.
His organic innards are his weakest area, and are incredibly vulnerable if somehow exposed.
Water makes him sluggish and unable to properly shapeshift. In large amounts, it could even kill him.
The cold slows him down, as he far prefers warmer environments.
Snakepit works best as a stealth alien, however Sandpit works less well this way. His sand-based skin can cause more noise while moving, and he may accidentally leave behind small particles of sand from which his movement can be tracked.
