Sandbox is the Infinimatrix's DNA sample of an Emaejyn from the planet Kryaht in Ben 10: Protector of the Omniverse.
Appearance[]
Sandbox is a nine-foot tall boxy humanoid with light brown skin. He has an elongated body, long arms with large hands and short legs. He has green eyes. The Infinimatrix symbol is on his chest.
Transformation Sequence[]
Ben slams down the Infinimatrix's dial and is engulfed in a green light.
As the transformation track begins playing, Ben hovers in a dark green background with light green bubbles pulsating rapidly behind him.
Powers and Abilities[]
Sandbox has the ability to enter his own imagination, where he can do anything and make anything happen.
Weaknesses[]
Sandbox will be forced out of his imagination when the Infinimatrix times out.
Sandbox can be considered somewhat addictive as his ability to enter and manipulate his imagination gives Ben a form of wish fulfillment. It is therefore possible for Ben to lose touch with reality if he becomes too attached to Sandbox.
Sandbox is useless in battle as nothing he creates in his imagination can affect the real world.

Emaejyns are escapists and prefer to play around in their imaginations rather than deal with real life. Many of them become addicted to living in their imaginations and end up dying as they forget to take care of their basic needs in the real world.

Etymology[]
Sandbox is named after the sandbox game genre, where players have a large amount of freedom to let their creativity flourish. His name also fits his boxy appearance.
Sandbox's species name, Emaejyn, sounds like the word 'imagine'.
Trivia[]
- Sandbox's appearance is based on some of Bloxx's concept designs.
- Sandbox speaks in a deep voice, somewhat similar to Cannonbolt's in the original series, but without the filter.
- Anything Sandbox creates or destroys in his imagination fades into and out of existence like sand.
- This was Ultra3000's idea.
- This version of Sandbox was created before Tom Perkins posted his retroactively-made design for the canon version.
