Sadism is the sixteenth episode of Omniverse: At Night.

Plot

The episode begins in the Faction's hideout. Dr. Psychobos had created a device which is able to neutralise Azmuth in order for their mission to succeed. With Malware and Khyber entering the scene, Khyber initiates a plan to distract Ben in order for Malware to gather information from Ben's partner. With Malware agreeing to the plan, Khyber calls for Zed as he leaves the scene, ready for the plan to work.

The scene transitions to a festival hosted by Natalie Alvarez as she welcomes Ben and Rook inside the Ye Olde Bellwood Days Festival that she had organised. Natalie tells Ben that there had been some fanfare for Kangaroo Kommando to show up, but a small crowd had wanted Ben 10 instead. They arrive at the 'Dunk Ben 10' attraction as Ben comes off as nice, hoping to see the smile on kids' faces when they dunk him. Ben stands on the platform as he began complaining that he isn't going to get dunked, only to get dunked by Rook, claiming that it is for charity, with Ben's face showing no other emotion other than shock.

The scene cuts to a boy who asks for Ben to go Big Chill, but changes his mind to Brainstorm, as Ben follows with the command, transforming into Brainstorm. The kid fails to dunk him, but gets shoved by another kid, who dunks him first try. A montage of different aliens are used: Wildmutt, Spidermonkey, Stinkfly and even Chromastone, before the kid settles on Humungousaur, as Ben transforms into Humungousaur, the kid dunks him, but unfortunately Humungousaur couldn't fully drop into the water. The kid is annoyed and leaves, unimpressed, as the Vaxosaurian transforms back. Gwen and Kevin enter the scene as Kevin has a turn, Kevin tells Ben to transform into Crashhopper as Ben obliges, transforming into Crashhopper just seconds before getting dunked, resulting in Kevin bursting out with laughter. With Crashhopper hopping out of the attraction, the gang are ambushed by Zed who had transformed into Buglizard as Buglizard leaps at the heroes just seconds before Gwen shields them, giving time for Crashhopper to switch into Swampfire and throw fireballs at the natural predator of Stinkfly.

Buglizard would lunge at Swampfire as he is smacked onto the floor, with Khyber watching from afar, hoping to keep them distracted while Malware does his business. With Swampfire getting smacked around, the Methanosian eventually throws out a handful of seeds as they burst into vines, trapping Stinkfly's predator in a vine net. Acting fast, Buglizard switches into Crabdozer, destroying the vine net and smacking Swampfire at his attraction, transforming back. Rook goes to investigate, telling Gwen and Kevin to stay put, as he leaves the scene in search for Khyber.

Ben transforms into Armodrillo and combats Crabdozer as he sends a powerful wave at her direction, sending her flying, before switching into Slamworm. Armodrillo is annoyed at how Zed is able to find a predator that matches his transformations, as Slamworm seemingly destroys various stands and attractions, leaving Armodrillo no choice but to transform into Big Chill. With Big Chill swooping down at Slamworm, Slamworm switches into Hypnotick, the predator of Necrofriggians, as Big Chill would repel the hypnosis. Big Chill tries to fly away from Hypnotick, but anything he could do, such as fly through buildings, Hypnotick did also. With no other options, Big Chill gets hypnotised as he tries fighting against it, eventually succeeding as he transforms back. With Rook calling Ben via the Omnitrix about Khyber not working alone, Ben jumps off a building as he transforms into Heatblast, flying over to the Proto-TRUK. With Heatblast transforming back, Ben encounters Malware for the second time. Horrified to see him, Malware flees the scene as soon as Rook catches up to Ben. Ben chases after Malware as he transforms into Arctiguana, shooting ice to form an ice slide so he could catch up to Malware faster.

Malware sends a gas tanker towards a school bus, while Arctiguana fires ice as he creates a construct that could prevent the two vehicles from colliding. Malware escapes. Back at the Proto-TRUK, Rook reveals that the TRUK's memory core was destroyed, along with the auxiliary power systems. He asks Ben about Malware, Ben tells Rook that Malware is a sociopathic Mechamorph. As Ben is about to elaborate, he is interrupted by one of the boys from the festival, who thanks Ben for saving his life. Ben asks where Gwen and Kevin went, as Rook responds, saying that they have gone to do something.

The scene transitions to Khyber's ship, where Khyber had fixed it off-screen thanks to the assistance of Malware and Dr. Psychobos. Somewhere not too far, Gwen and Kevin were hiding behind a few bushes. Gwen is shocked to find out that they were ready to arrive at Galvan Prime and kill Azmuth, as she plans to sneak in with Kevin and destroy the ship, giving Ben some time to learn about their plans.

Gwen and Kevin run into the ship as they would locate the main dock where all of Khyber's prized possessions were. They see many things, before they are caught by Khyber, Malware and Dr. Psychobos. Acting fast, Gwen tells Kevin to shield himself in a coat of material, as Kevin absorbs some metal, just after Gwen throws a handful of mana disks at their direction. Kevin tells Gwen to run to where the ship's controls are and destroy them, as Khyber realises that they plan on destroying the ship. With Gwen casting a spell to teleport to the controls, she slashes them with her mana constructs, as the ship, which was just about to take off, initiates a self destruct sequence, as she grabs Kevin with her mana-forged hand and teleports away, just before the ship explodes for the second time. With Khyber having no other options on how to get to Galvan Prime, Dr. Psychobos uses his intellect as he comes up with a plan to create a teleportation device, as the episode ends with Malware, Khyber and Dr. Psychobos setting their plan into motion.

Trivia

• This episode is a parody of Malefactor, with a festival running and Ben's attraction all being part of the same episode. The only exceptions are the inclusion of Chromastone, Crashhopper and Swampfire, no flashback scene, and Gwen and Kevin joining in.
