Ruby Rage is the Proto-Ultimatrix's DNA sample of a Petrosapien from the planet Petropia. Ruby Rage' design was created by Rafael Santos.

Ruby Rage has the appearance of a red humanoid whose body is composed of sharp crystals. He has red eyes and is physically smaller than Diamondhead, as his body is not bulky and is more slim than his counterpart's. The Proto-Ultimatrix symbol is located on his chest.

Powers and Abilities

Ruby Rage's body is composed of extremely thick organic red crystals. He has the ability to manipulate the atomic structure of his physiology at will, allowing him to form his limbs into diamond weapons such as blades and bludgeons.

Moreover, he can control all the crystals he generates. He can fire crystal shards sequentially out of his hands, as well as explosive ones, and can explode his body parts into crystalline formations, as well as make crystal constructs grow from his body. Ruby Rage's body resembles a living prism, allowing weapons similar to lasers to be refracted and rendered useless. He is able to absorb energy blasts and redirect them, rather than just refracting. Similarly, rays generated by dimensional transporter devices will reflect off of Ruby Rage's body.

Ruby Rage has inhuman physical abilities, enough to easily able to overpower Vilgax in a one-on-one brawl. Due to the natural density of crystal, Ruby Rage is extremely durable to physical impacts.

Ruby Rage is resistant to fire and heat, much like an ordinary diamond. Because he is made out of organic crystals, Ruby Rage is immune to aging. Therefore, he is impervious to time rays generated by a Chronosapien or another time-related entity such as Eon, as diamonds do not age.

Despite his enhanced durability, Ruby Rage's body can crack and shatter if he's impacted with enough force. Ruby Rage is especially weak to sonic vibrations, rendering Ruby Rage unconscious. The two shards on his back can also leave him stuck on a wall or on other surfaces that he gets knocked into.
