Rise of the Sentiknight is the fifteenth episode of Ben 10: Omniorigins, as well as the fifteenth episode of the first season.

Plot

In The Fictioverse's back room, Stuart explains to Lugs that it was finally time to reveal his secret surprise to Ben. But due to many interruptions preventing him, Stuart decides to showcase it in a different way. Later, at Ben's apartment, the latter is shown sleeping before loud music rudely awakens him. As he drops to the ground, he looks at a masked figure entering his window, calling itself "The Sentiknight".

Ben threatens the Sentiknight to reveal himself before Ben activates the Omnitrix, prompting the Sentiknight to remove his face visor and reveal himself to be Stuart. Stuart explains that the Sentiknight armour he was wearing was made from pieces of their defeated enemies machines and technology, and it was designed by him to help Ben fight crime. Ben questioned why Stuart had to reveal his armour in the way he did just now, with Stuart explaining the interruptions that prevented him from doing so, so he got impatient and decided to showcase it this way.

Lugs then suddenly emerges from one of Stuart's shoulder compartments and happily jumps onto Ben. Ben asks Stuart if he's truly ready for direct combat, since Stuart had always been helping him from the sidelines, though Stuart claims that he's adaptive and will use his tech to assist Ben in any way, causing the latter to smile and go back to sleep. Stuart questions Ben on why he is doing so, and is then answered with Ben telling him to patrol the streets in his new suit with Lugs. Sensing newfound determination (and unusual motivation) in Stuart, Lugs jumps back into the latter's shoulder compartment before the Sentiknight flies of into the night.

The next morning, Ben awakens to his alarm showcasing 8.25 in the morning, immediately activating the Omnitrix and transforming into Powerpipe before rushing all over his apartment to bathe, eat breakfast and prepare for school, all while claiming he was going to be late. After finishing breakfast, Powerpipe grabs his bag and rushes to school. Rushing into the school's janitor closet, Powerpipe immediately deactivates the Omnitrix and turns back into Ben, who runs to his class and makes it to his seat just in time for his test. As he writes his name on his exam sheet, Ben hopes that Stuart is able to stop any villains while he takes his exam. At his apartment, Stuart wakes up from his bed, tired from having scouted Bellwood for trouble with no avail.

As he prepares his morning coffee with Lugs still asleep, Stuart looks at a memo on his fridge and sees that Ben will be having his exams for the week, finally figuring out why Ben was eager to get some sleep the previous night. As Stuart looks outside of his window, he sees what appears to be a large piston being carried on a trailer truck. However, the truck is then hijacked by an individual in a black suit. Looking at his memo pad and Lugs asleep on his table, Stuart realises that there is no one else to stop the individual but him, and rushes to put on his Sentiknight armour. Flying to the top of the truck, Stuart asks the individual to stop, but is then jumped onto by a slightly more muscular individual wearing the same suit. With a floating probe, the skinner individual remotely drives the truck while assisting the other individual in battling Stuart.

While Ben works on a math equation, he still wonders if Stuart is okay, before looking at the Omnitrix and wondering if he should help the latter. Meanwhile, Stuart is constantly avoiding attacks from the individuals in black, calling themselves "The Darhkness 3". Stuart is confused as there was only two of them, but is rudely answered by a punch from a small man in black, calling him the third of the Darrkhh brothers. Stuart then gets back on his feet, preparing to battle the brothers again(he calls the skinny one Blackbrain, the muscular one Hurter, and the smallest one Mini-mugg), and deploys 2 laser drones from his back. Hurter easily blocks the blasts while Mini-mugg destroys the drones. Blackbrain then goes into direct combat with Stuart, but the battle accidentally damages his control pad, causing the truck to make a sharp turn and topple.

Ben then finally completes his exam paper and attempts to relax, seconds before his entire class hears a large explosion occuring outside. Running to the window, Ben and his classmates look and see The Darhkness 3 and the Sentiknight emerging from the debris. Ben suddenly gets an idea and urges his classmates to run outside to see the fight, using the crowd to hide himself going into the janitor's closet and using the Omnitrix to turn him into Thornhenge, running out to help Stuart. As Hurter lands a punch on Stuart, Mini-mugg then jumps onto his shoulder and throws him into a tree. As the trio corner Stuart, they are interrupted by spikes raining down in front of them, finding Thornhenge jumping into battle.

As he helps Stuart up, Thornhenge asks Stuart about the situation, and he explains that he had already learn't of their powers, but was unable to fight them all on his own. Assuring that Stuart was not alone, Thornhenge helps him up and the duo charge at the brothers. Thornhenge and Hurter both throw punches and their fists collide, though Hurter is injured due to his opponent's spiky form. As the duo brawl, Stuart and Blackbrain get into a fight of their own, though Blackbrain manages to overpower Stuart and knock him to the ground. As Thornhenge and Hurter continue their fight, the former is then grabbed by the spikes by Mini-mugg and subsequently thrown to the ground next to Stuart.

The trio prepare to finish Stuart and Thornhenge, but Stuart gets and idea and activates a blinding light in his arm, blinding the trio and allowing him to get up in time and pin down Blackbrain and Mini-mugg. Hurter then recovers his vision and rushes to Thornhenge, who is unable to get up due to his spikes being stuck in the ground. Attempting to defend himself, Thornhenge swats Hurter away with spikes on his claws, surprising him momentarily. Thornhenge then gets an idea and transforms into Grapplight, wrapping his tongue around Hurter before throwing him to his brothers. As Grapplight traps the brothers in his slime globules, Stuart activates a blast in his armour which causes the slime to grow and freeze, trapping the brothers. Everyone else present cheers at the heroes for their victory, while Grapplight and Stuart look at each other in joy.

That night in Stuart's apartment, Stuart claims that the brothers were trying to steal a seismic cannon, which Hammerhack (who Ben transformed into to help him study easier) deduced that it could've done a lot of damage had Stuart not intervened. Looking at the probe he acquired, Stuart claims that its time he and Ben did some training to get better even when they are alone, in which Hammerhack agrees to, claiming that there's a lot more information about his aliens he still doesn't know yet. While Stuart agrees to that statement, the duo look outside and hear police sirens, prompting Stuart to suit up with Lugs in his armour. Hammerhack then turns into Anatacles, and asks Stuart if he's ready. Stuart replies, saying "It's Hero Time".

• Stuart introducing himself as the Sentiknight to Ben is similar to a scene in Back to the Future, where Marty McFly introduces himself as an extraterrestrial to his father the same way.
• Several references to Marvel films are made in this episode
  • The way Stuart equips his armour is similar to how Tony Stark suits up the earlier Iron Man movies.
  • The claws produced by Thornhenge resemble the ones used by Wolverine.
  • The ending with the villains getting immobilised in a substance supercooled by one of the heroes is taken from the climax of Fantastic Four.
• Before their battle, Thornhenge says "You know what they say, two is better than one!" while Blackbrain replies with "Well three is better than two!". These phrases were taken from the Ben 10 Reboot episode "Heat of the Moment" which was said by Slapback and the Weatherheads.

Trivia

• Cash and J.T. were mean't to appear in this episode and have an argument with Ben, but the scene was cut out for time.
• Due to Ben appearing in a few scenes because of his exam, this is the first time Stuart had a leading role in an episode.
