Voice Actor | John DiMaggio |
Rath is the Infinimatrix's DNA sample of an Appoplexian from the planet Appoplexia in Ben 10: Protector of the Omniverse. He is the Timeline 1 equivalent of the canon Rath.
Appearance[]
Rath has his Heroes United appearance, but he has his second Omniverse appearance's outfit. However, his shirt covers his entire chest and he does not have a mask. Like his reboot appearance, his eyebrows are half-white.
Transformation Sequence[]
Ben slams down the Infinimatrix's dial and is engulfed in a green light.
As the transformation track begins playing, Ben hovers in a dark green background with light green bubbles pulsating rapidly behind him and crouches.
Personality[]
Rath is one of the only aliens who has a noticeable effect on Ben's personality, influencing it into one resembling that of a comic book vigilante and a flashy professional wrestler.
Rath almost always speaks in third person and a loud voice. Sometimes, when he becomes extremely angry, he mixes up metaphors (such as "a man's food is his castle" or "you just bit off an eye that's bigger than your stomach can chew"). He is aware that they do not make sense, but still continues to use them anyway.
Rath's muscle-over-brains mindset makes him needlessly argue with everyone around him. He even shouts at inanimate objects, which can occasionally lead him to harm both himself and others. Rath's confrontational attitude often gets him and his teammates into trouble.
When Rath addresses someone or something, he usually yells a sentence starting with, "Let me tell ya something" followed by the full name of the person, or their position.
Rath is very fearless to the point of recklessness.
Rath has a lot of pride in his capabilities and himself, expressing bluntness or anger instead of gratitude when he is saved by others.
Powers and Abilities[]
Rath possesses enhanced strength and agility, enabling him to jump great distances and lift objects much heavier than himself and smash through his opponents with ease. Due to his incredible strength, Rath is also capable of generating shock waves. Technically speaking, he is physically weaker than Tetramands.
Rath's natural strength increases whenever he gets angry, which in turn gives him an advantage in combat by powering his way through many opponents and smash through tough defenses.
Rath can perform fighting moves with expert execution.
Rath possesses a large, retractable black claw on each wrist. Rath also has a very strong bite force.
Rath is extremely durable, being able to take point-blank laser or energy blasts with no apparent effect, survive a free fall from several hundred feet in the air with only a bit of dizziness as a result, and break through a concrete wall without showing any pain.
Rath can jump very high, he also very acrobatic.
Rath is very quick and agile, especially when running on all fours. Rath can also run on walls.
Rath has some degree of space survivability.
Rath has some degree of heat resistance, as he seemed to able to easily maneuver through a burning house without much issue. Rath is also resistant to acid.
Rath can release a loud, powerful roar.
Weaknesses[]
Rath's brain is hardwired for aggression and as such, Rath's main weakness is his lack of intelligence and highly aggressive temperament. This causes Rath to become easily distracted and difficult to stop once he starts fighting. He is also not quite adept for diplomatic approaches, particularly negotiations, and can make bad or difficult situations worse. Additionally, opponents can defeat him if they exploit his lack of intelligence and single-minded aggression.
Rath's apparent lack of intelligence also often convinces him to needlessly argue with inanimate objects.
Being a feline-based alien, Rath can be controlled by people that have the ability to control cats. He can also be easily distracted by a laser pointer.
Rath has very sensitive hearing, which makes him vulnerable to loud piercing sounds, such as a certain sonic frequency signal.
Despite being resistant to heat, Rath can be harmed by fire.
Rath can easily be scared by Toepick's species.

Trivia[]
- Credit to Echoson for the infobox image and the image in the gallery.
- Unlike his canon equivalent, Rath is not afraid of water.
- Out of all of Ben's aliens, Gwen and Kevin find Rath the most entertaining and amusing (due to his mediocre intelligence, occasionally joking about him behind his back or out of his earsight).
- Whenever Rath executes wrestling moves, he names them after stars.
