Pyrogre is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of an Arctic Gobhockle from Doosyde. He is available to Fly, but has not been unlocked.
Appearance[]
Pyrogre is a stout, blue biped comprised of a head & legs. He has moose-like antlers & tusk-like teeth growing from his overbite. He wears a green strap with a white stripe around his left leg. The Omnitrix is on said strap.
Powers and Abilities[]
Pologre gets half his name from his immense cold resistance. He can withstand temperatures as low as the surface of Uranus, making him perfect for dealing with ice-based enemies.
As it turns out, this cold resistance present in modern-day Gobhockles is actually a form of cold absorption. Any chillness he's absorbed is then passively radiated from his skin. Since this ability wasn't needed for the Arctic Gobhockles to survive, the genes became dormant, but have been re-awakened in the Arctic Gobhockle transformation. This usually isn't enough to cause any damage, but enough absorbed heat can make him hot enough to cause minor numbness & freeze things in ice when in contact with objects that have low freezing points.
Pologre possesses a degree of enhanced durability, due to his thick skin.
Pologre's antlers are quite strong, giving him good ramming power.
Pyrogre's teeth are decently sharp, giving him a pretty nasty bite.
Pologre's horns & teeth can subcool if they absorb enough coldness, although this requires immense amounts of raw coldness akin to a Polar Manzardill's breath.
Weaknesses[]
Pologre is severely weak to the heat. He can survive in them for very brief periods of time due to his cold absorption & emission, but not for very long.
History[]
Pologre has not been unlocked by Fly yet, but is in the Omnitrix database. He is eventually unlocked by Fly years in the future when he obtains Master Control.
Trivia[]
- Pologre is the same species as Fly's friend, Ogre, but not the exact subspecies
- Pologre was designed because i thought it would be cool to try & turn the Trixters into actual Omnitrix transformations
- Pologre was made a while after Pyrogre because it felt weird for there to only be a transformation for the one subspecies
- It is possible that Pologre is avaliable to the Nut given the existence of a Desert Gobhockle in their Omnitrix, but it's currently unknown
