Paper Trail appears similar in frame and shape to an origami man. His face appears to be folded shut, similar to that of an origami fortune teller, with the Omnitrix symbol located within the folds. The rest of his body is covered in folds as well, with the most prominent being at his joints. His skin is covered in inkted words and type, as if he was a newspaper.
Abilities and Equipment[]
Paper Thin's various abilities revolve around his paper physiology and his ability to fold his own body:
- Paper Trail can morph his hands into various objects, such as a sword or a paper airplane hanglider.
- Paper Trail can morph his feet into newspaper boats and use his body as a sail to become a relatively fast and light sailboat.
- Paper Trail can duplicate himself via paper dolls, although the connections between them cannot be severed without severe damage.
- Paper Trail can fold his body to become smaller.
In addition, thanks to his blood consisting of ink, Paper Trail has some minor ink manipulation abilities as well:
- Anything Paper Trail knows, witnesses, or experiences is written onto his skin, which then can be juxtaposed onto other environments similar to Letterbomb or Longview's planes.
- Paper Trail can detect heat signatures and mark them with ink, allowing him to track targets.
Weaknesses and Limits[]
- He's made out of paper. He's not going to be the strongest or the heaviest alien, now is he?
- Paper Trail is incredibly weak against both fire and water. He also frays very easily and is subject to tearing.

- Paper Trail's alternative name during development was Paper Thin, named after band Anberlin's song Paperthin Hymn.
- Paper Trail's ink abilities were shoehorned in last minute so that his namesake would be more relevant.
