Panthora is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Novem Vitae from the planet Perpetua. He is a free use alien that can be used in any series.

Appearance

Panthora is a tall, muscular, humanoid panther-like alien. He is covered in a coat of fine black fur, with his upper body decorated in various tribal tattoos that glow purple. He wears black pants, with horizontal lines that also glow purple, that reach the middle of his shins.

Panthora wears the Omnitrix symbol on a belt surrounding his waist.

Powers and Abilities

• Novem Vitae Physiology: Due to being a Novem Vitae, Panthora possesses all the powers, abilities and weaknesses of that species.
  • Enhanced Strength: Panthora possesses strength superior to that of a human's, being able to shatter bone and dent metal with a few punches.
  • Enhanced Agility: Panthora possesses agility superior to that of a human's, being able to maneuver himself with ease around the battlefield.
  • Enhanced Reflexes: Panthora possesses reflexes superior to that of a human's, being able to dodge bullets and laser blasts with ease.
  • Enhanced Dexterity: Panthora possessses enhanced dexterity, being able to grab and manipulate objects with all four of his limbs.
  • Enhanced Climbing: Panthora possesses climbing ability superior to that of a human's, being able to scale most surfaces, provided there is sufficient friction.
  • Enhanced Olfaction: Panthora possesses an olfactory sense superior to that of a human's, being able to discern upon a variety of scents and track someone down based on their scent.
  • Enhanced Vision: Panthora possesses vision superior to that of a human's, being able to see into the ultraviolet and infrared wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum.
  • Sharp Teeth: Panthora possesses sharp teeth capable of piercing through metal.
  • Sharp Claws: Panthora possesses sharp claws capable of slashing through metal.
  • Soul Plain Access: Panthora possesses the ability to enter a realm known as the Soul Plain upon a grievous or fatal injury. The Soul Plain is a realm that exists as an interlude between life and the afterlife. It appears as a vast savanna stretching past the horizon. Panthora is presented with two main options: Walk towards a large tree at the apparent center of the savanna, upon which he enters the afterlife or enter through one out of eight portals that are scattered throughout the realm. Upon doing so, he will return to the Land of the Living, having received one of the following Blessings:
  • Blessing of Strength: Panthora returns to the Land of the Living with the Blessing of Strength, imbuing him with the following abilities:
    • Kinetic Energy Absorption: Panthora is granted the ability to absorb the kinetic energy of the attacks he is dealt with, causing his muscle mass to increase as well. He is then able to unleash devastating bursts of power, depending on the amount of energy he has absorbed.
    • Sonic Roar: Panthora is granted the ability to unleash powerful sonic roars that destroy almost everything in their path.
  • Blessing of Speed: Panthora returns to the Land of the Living with the Blessing of Speed, imbuing him with the following abilities:
    • Enhanced Speed: Panthora is granted the ability to achieve speeds far superior to that of a human's, although still beneath those of a Citrakayah.
    • Speed Mirage Creation: Panthora is granted the ability to create the illusion of duplicates of himself thanks to his enhanced speed.
  • Blessing of Intelligence: Panthora returns to the Land of the Living with the Blessing of Intelligence, imbuing him with the following abilities:
    • Enhanced Intelligence: Panthora is granted intelligence superior to that of a human's, being knowledgeable on a variety of scientific and mystical fields, although being master of none.
  • Blessing of Spirit: Panthora returns to the Land of the Living with the Blessing of Spirit, imbuing him with the following abilities:
    • Astral Projection: Panthora is granted the ability of astral projection, meaning his spirit is able to exit his body and navigate other locations.
    • Spiritual Sensing: Panthora is granted the ability to sense spirits, including ghost-like entities like the Ectonurites, even when they utilize their invisibility.
    • Spiritual Weaponry: Panthora is granted the ability to conjure weapons from his own spiritual energy, such as axes, scythes or hammers.
  • Blessing of Light: Panthora returns to the Land of the Living with the Blessing of Light, imbuing him with the following abilities:
    • Blinding Fur: Panthora's fur turns white and shines brightly, to the extent of blinding everyone in the vicinity akin to a flashbang.
    • Heated Teeth and Claws: Panthora's teeth and claws glow brightly, becoming able to pierce and slice through everything.
    • Solar Beam: Panthora is granted the ability to emit a powerful solar beam from his mouth.
  • Blessing of Darkness: Panthora returns to the Land of the Living with the Blessing of Darkness, imbuing him with the following abilities:
    • Shadow Invisibility: Panthora is granted with the ability to become completely invisible under the presence of a shadow.
    • Shadow Teleportation: Panthora is granted the ability to teleport from shadow to shadow.
    • Shadow Tendrils: Panthora is granted the ability to conjure shadow tendrils from anywhere on his body in order to ensnare a person or object.
  • Blessing of Life: Panthora returns to the Land of the Living with the Blessing of Life, imbuing him with the following abilities:
    • Healing Touch: Panthora is granted the ability to heal all wounds and cure all illnesses with a mere touch.
    • Resurrection: Panthora becomes the Bright Avatar of Life, being able to resurrect anyone whose demise was recent and has not yet officially passed onto the afterlife.
  • Blessing of Death: Panthora returns to the Land of the Living with the Blessing of Death, imbuing him with the following abilities:
    • Deadly Touch: Panthora is granted the ability to induce decay and death with a mere touch.
    • Necromancy: Panthora becomes the Dark Avatar of Death, being able to raise the dead as undead monstrosities.
  • Past Echo Communication: Panthora possesses the ability to communicate with past echoes of himself while in the Soul Plain.

Weaknesses

• Life Limit: Panthora possesses a maximum of nine lives and is limited to only one blessing per life after his first death. The death count is reset whenever Panthora switches to another alien or reverts.
• Average Durability: Panthora possesses relatively low-level durability, on par with that of a human's.
• Energy Overload: While imbued with the Blessing of Strength, Panthora must eventually disperse the accumulated kinetic energy he has stored, otherwise he faces serious dentrimental effects to his health.
• Vulnerable Body: While imbued with the Blessing of Spirit, Panthora's body is left completely unprotected whenever he utilizes his astral projection power.
• Portal Randomness: The eight portals that grant Panthora blessings are scattered in various locations throughout the Soul Plain. Typically, only two to three portals will be easily noticeable upon Panthora's arrival to the realm. In addition, the portals that grant the Blessings of Life and Death are exceedingly hard to locate, with no known Novem Vitae being able to find one of them in over five hundred years.
• Soul Plain Dangers: While the Soul Plain is typically a neutral realm, the realm is inhabitited by a variety of entities, some less friendly than others.

• Panthora is heavily inspired by the Marvel Comics character, the Black Panther.
  • His general appearance is that of a humanoid black panther, with the glowing purple tattoos referencing the glowing circuits of the Panther Habit.
  • The Soul Plain is inspired by the Ancestral Plane.
  • The Blessing of Power references the unique ability of the Panther Habit to absorb kinetic energy and redistribute it for devastating attacks.
  • The Blessing of Death references T'Challa's status as King of the Dead and Ruler of Necropolis in the comics, with necromancy being one of his acquired abilities.
• Panthora was created as a tribute to Chadwick Boseman, who portrayed T'Challa in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and passed away on August 28, 2020.
