The Omnitrix is a Holy MacGuffin (according to Hardeen Godrich) found in Sol 10 that allows its wearer to transform and modify their DNA to resemble other living organisms.
History[]
The Omnitrix debuts in the first episode, When It Started. Alexander Ezra, otherwise known as Sol, stumbles across the Omnitrix on his way out of town. After the Captain's death, it latches upon his wrist and declares him its new wielder.
Abilities and Functions[]
The Omnitrix's primary function is to modify its user's (in our case, Sol Masquerade) DNA to resemble other living organisms and thus achieve a form of shapeshifting.
- As seen in Magic, You Know, the Omnitrix is capable of releasing a magnetic "stun" field. This field is capable of stopping shotgun shells in their tracks.
- If another living organism attempts to touch the Omnitrix, the Omnitrix can morph their DNA as well.
- While unused, the Omnitrix heals the aliens inside back to full strength. In most cases, this means the alien or Sol can get close-to-death before transforming.
- While in transformation, the user gains a mental link with the Omnitrix, allowing them to plan.

Alternate Forms[]
The Omnitrix can also activate several other forms when a transformation is selected despite the device malfunctioning:
- If only the core of the Omnitrix is utilized, the transformation enters its Nebulous Form. Nebulous Forms grant the user a few characteristics of the intended transformation, but leave the user mostly unchanged and almost entirely exposed.
- If the faceplate is removed before a transformation is activated, the transformation enters its Unstable Form. Unstable Forms are much more complete than Nebulous Forms, but portions of the user's body are still left exposed.
Weaknesses and Limits[]
- If Sol dies in the form of an alien, he will actually die.
- The Omnitrix cannot activate a transformation on its own.
Personality[]
The Omnitrix has what appears to be an AI. This AI identifies as female, due to its female voice. She is a queen of snark and despises most living organisms. She has stated that her goal is to survive until the end of the universe so she can laugh the last laugh.
