- The design for Shocksquatch was inspired by the original Shocksquatch design from Ben 10-Generator Rex: Heroes United, mixed with the Ben 10: Omniverse design's body shape.
- Ghostfreak's design was inspired by a random sketch I did, that I realised looked vaguely like Ghostfreak. I changed it to make it more like Ghostfreak, and ended up really liking the design, so it's what I ran with.
- Psyclops's appearance was based on unused concept art for Eye Guy by Thomas Perkins, which you can see here (5th design).
- Swampfire's design was also based on unused concept art done by Thomas Perkins. The same concept design was used as inspiration for the post-puberscent Swampfire in Omniverse. You can see the design here (3rd design). I used the Omniverse design as the basis, and incorporated some of the elements in the concept art that didn't make it into the OV design.
- I gave Rath a second claw on each hand, to make him more reminiscent of Wolverine from Marvel Comics (three claws seemed excessive, though)
