When the Omnitrix recalibrated, the Omnitrix resembled a slimmer wristwatch shaper, with a black and green color scheme, with see through DNA.
Before Recalibration
Purpose[]
The Omnitrix was created by Azmuth, and assisted by a brilliant Chimera Sui Generis named Vilgax. The device was made to allow the user to walk in the shoes of other alien races and bring closer unity in the universe.
Modes[]
- Active Mode is the Omnitrix's default mode. The Omnitrix can only let the wearer be in the body of an alien for 10 to 16 minutes at a time.
- When the watch times out, the faceplate turns red and recharges for around 10 to 30 minutes. When it is green again, the user can transform again. The Omnitrix is powered by the Omni-Core within the device.
Known Features[]
General[]
- The Omnitrix contains the DNA of millions of aliens from across the galaxy and can transform its user into one of them for a limited period of time. Only ten of these DNA samples can be available at any given time, as only ten can be loaded into the loading bay unless the setting to allow more than ten is changed.
- The Omnitrix had the ability to redirect scans from inorganic aliens if the power was boosted, resulting in an orange rippling pulse to come out of the Omnitrix
- The Omnitrix could create an alien species.
Extensions[]
- The Omnitrix has a built-in Universal Translator.
- The Omnitrix can be used as a two-way communication system, which works even when the user is transformed. The communicator can be used from inside the Omnitrix.
- The Omnitrix can track alien signals.
Color Coding[]
- The Omnitrix could display ten colors, each meaning something different:
- Green: Active Mode
- Red: Recharge Mode
- Orange: Alien Creation
Display Modes[]
- The Omnitrix has two known display modes:
- During the Reboot, it was black silhouettes of the aliens.
- After recalibrated, it was changed to dark green holograms of the aliens.
- Orange if it's an alien species created from the Omnitrix.
Malfunctions[]
- If the Omnitrix is creating an alien species, it will not allow the user to transform. Post recalibration, it would only show half formed shapes instead of full holographic alien forms.
- When an alien species is finished being created by the Omnitrix, the hologram would remain in an orange and static like state instead of green.
