The Omnimatrix, or Omnitrix for short, is one of the most powerful devices in the universe with 1,000,912 samples of DNA the user may turn into at will.

Appearance[]

The Omnitrix resembles a slimmer and sleeker watch-like shape with a white, black, and green wristband and the face of the dial becoming black and green. The inside of the hourglass symbol glowed in different colors during certain moments; these colors signify the mode that the Omnitrix was presently in. When Ben is selecting his aliens it shows the alien's hologram standing on the core.

History[]

1131[]

Azmuth tries to think of something to create, to use his intelligence for peace and make up for his mistakes. While on Earth he studies Human philosophy and reads the story of Noah's Ark and gets inspired to create the Omnitrix hoping that Zennith would come back to him.

He recruits the help of Myaxx and a young prodigy named, Albedo to help him with the creation of the Omnitrix.

1142[]

Azmuth hires a few Trenots to design and create the uniforms for the Omnitrix since their webs are nearly indestructible. As payment they want their DNA to be one of the first added to the Omnitrix.

Shortly after, Azmuth recruits his old friend Shyo, an adventurer that visits other planets for research, to collect DNA samples from every sapient species in the Milky Way Galaxy.

1448[]

Azmuth comes to Shyo with the first functioning Omnimatrix. He wants Shyo to be the first one to try it. He turns into a Slig and it works flawlessly.

June 1, 2006[]

Azmuth finishes the Omnitrix and sends it to Maxwell Tennyson of Earth for safe keeping.

June 3, 2006[]

The Omnitrix lands in Yosemite National Park. It is found by a 10 year old Ben Tennyson who accidentally puts it on and is stuck with it for the rest of his life.

July 2006[]

Ben messes with the Omnitrix and accidentally tears off the face plate which causes his aliens to fuse together. Dr. Animo finds the face plate and uses it to build a mutant ray. The Tennyson's stop him and fix the Omnitrix.

August 2, 2006[]

Vilgax returns to take the Omnitrix from Ben. At this time Kevin and Ben were messing with the Omnitrix and accidentally access Master Control. Ben is constantly in alien form and fights Vilgax alone because he thinks he's unstoppable. Max opens a portal to the Null Void to send Vilgax there. Vilgax grabbed Ben and Kevin before going in the portal. Vilgax removes the Omnitrix from Ben. A surge of energy hits Kevin which mutates him into all of the accessed aliens. Kevin's mind is clouded with rage and fights Vilgax in the Null Void. During the confusion Ben escapes with the Omnitrix. With the portal only being able to be open for a few more seconds Ben leaves Kevin in the Null Void. Ben considers this his greatest failure to this day.

August 31, 2006[]

Eye Guy fights Dr. Animo and accidentally activates the Self-Destruct Mode on the Omnitrix.

September 1, 2006[]

Tetrax comes to Earth to find out what's going on with the Omnitrix's Self-Destruct Signal and decides that it needs to be shut down by the creator.

October 14, 2009[]

Vilgax forces Ben to take off the Omnitrix or else he will kill his grandpa.

October 15, 2009[]

Vilgax, armed with the Omnitrix, planned on taking over the universe but was stopped when Ben, Max, Gwen, and the Plumbers stormed his ship and took him down. Ben chooses to not put the Omnitrix back on so he can live a normal life. Ben grows more humble over the next year.

October 14, 2010[]

Ben puts the Omnitrix back on to find his grandpa and to stop the Highbreed Invasion.

April 29, 2012[]

Ra'ad finds out the way Aggregor has been tracking down the other Andromeda aliens is by using the GPS of the Omnitrix. Ra'ad finds Ben to deactivate the Omnitrix. He and Ben fight, Ra'ad loses. Ben's team, along with Kevin put Ra'ad in a containment pod in Los Soledad and interrogate him. He tells them about Aggregor's tracking system. Ben trusts him and let's him out but Ra'ad betrays them. The Omnitrix tries to collect his DNA but Ra'ad doesn't let it by fusing with it. The team doesn't know where Ra'ad is and then Aggregor breaks into the building to capture him. He starts attacking and Ben only has one transformation the Omnitrix is allowing him to turn into, an Amperi. Ben turns into AmpFibian and fights Aggregor. They're losing so Gwen teleports them to Kevin's hideout. Ben finds out Ra'ad has fused with him. Kevin brings out a machine to get them separated and it works but now Aggregor knows where they are. They all fight to protect Ra'ad but he leaves. Kevin calls him a coward saying that Ben is risking his life for Ra'ad and he's just running away. Ra'ad decides to help Ben and gets captured by Aggregor. When leaving Aggregor blows up Kevin's hideout.

Shyo[]

Shyo is a Galvan. He helped Azmuth with collecting the DNA of the first 502,136 aliens. Azmuth let him be the first one to test the Omnitrix.

Ben Tennyson[]

When the Omnitrix landed in Yosemite National Park it was found by a 10 year old Ben who accidentally put it on. He has defended the universe with it ever since.

Features[]

Active Mode[]

When the Omnitrix glows green it is ready to be activated.

Select Mode[]

To select a transformation the user has to push in both of the buttons located vertically on the face plate. A random hologram is chosen to appear then the user may use the dial to scroll through the catalog of DNA samples.

Recharge Mode[]

When the Omnitrix glows red it has used up too much of its energy and needs to recharge and rest for about 5 minutes.

Capture Mode[]

When an uncatalogued DNA sample is present the Omnitrix will glow yellow and project a beam onto the DNA sample, collecting it.

Recalibration Mode[]

After the Omnitrix isn't on someone for a while it might recalibrate with a blue light when the next person puts it on to better fit the person wearing it.

Self-Destruct Mode[]

When activated the Omnitrix will glow and flash orange until it blows itself up. The activator can choose a time limit for when the device will explode. The shortest time limit is 30 seconds. This will cause the Omnitrix to detonate a small blast within itself destroying it. The longest time limit is 4 days. This will cause the Omnitrix to destroy the universe.

Randomizer[]

This function shuffles the unlocked transformations, making the user constantly shift from alien to alien.

Deactivated Mode[]

If the Omnitrix is taken off and not put on a new user it will shut down.

Life Form Lock[]

This feature can keep the user in a designated transformation for unlimited amounts of time.

Universal Translation[]

The Omnitrix can understand any known language in the universe.

Communication[]

The Omnitrix is linked with Ben's phone so he is able to contact people in and out of alien form.

GPS[]

The Omnitrix has a universe-wide locating system.

Body Cam[]

The Omnitrix is always recording video when it's user is in alien form.

Genetic Damage Repair[]

The Omnitrix can repair mutated organic life if the species is in the Omnitrix.

Teleportation[]

The Omnitrix can teleport itself and the wearer through Azmuth's teleportation channel.

Lockout[]

The user can choose to make transformations locked. This means they cannot access them unless they say the code: 4317. So far the only one Ben has locked out is Alien X.

Master Control[]

This unlocks all 1,000,912 DNA sample to be used at anytime. The select and recharge mode along with the Life Form Lock are all deactivated as the user may transform between aliens mentally.

Fail Safes[]

Defensive Blast[]

If someone other than the present user tries to remove the Omnitrix it will send an electric blast at the attacker stunning them for a short amount of time.

Termination Prevention[]

If the user is about to die the Omnitrix's AI would sense it and automatically turn the user into whatever unlocked alien would help them survive.

    • Removes Omnitrix from user.

  • Abort Self Destruct Code 9
    • Deactivates Self-Destruct Mode.
  • Omnitrix Lockout Code 4317
    • This unlocks all the locked out transformations.
  • Omnitrix Lockout (species name) Code 814
    • This puts the DNA sample on the Lockout Playlist.

  • *Azmuth has access to every feature of the Omnitrix but some features are just for him.
    • The Chronian DNA sample was removed shortly after being collected.
  • The Omnitrix cannot tell the difference between Ben and Albedo's voice so all of Ben's voice commands work for Albedo.
  • The first 502,136 DNA samples were manually collected by Shyo.
