The Omnitrix Ring, dubbed the “OmniRing”, is a more compact version of the Omnitrix. It is used to alter the user’s DNA to transform them into an alien of their choice.
Appearance[]
The OmniRing is an alternate, smaller form of the Omnitrix that is more compact. It is a black ring with an Omnitrix logo at the front. It has a green glow when worn and charged. The OmniRing does not contain a rotating bezel for the selection of aliens, but instead seems like a normal ring.
Features[]
The OmniRing does not require manuel selection of an alien, but rather alters the users DNA via his thoughts. if the user thinks of a preferred alien, the Omnitrix transforms him to that alien. The user has knowledge of the aliens it has, and aliens it has acquired comes from the ring’s AI; Gladus, which gives the wearer information about the aliens on the ring. The OmniRing also has the ability to discharge energy beams along with a shield, incase the user cannot or does not feel the need to transform.
Modes/Colors[]
Ready to use-Green
Timed out-Red
Not working/Malfunctioning-Black
Life-Form Lock-Yellow
AI[]
The OmniRing includes an AI, Gladus, who only the user of the ring can hear, or interact with. The purpose of Gladus is to give the user of the ring information about the aliens the ring contains, and also instruct the wearer on how to use the alien. Gladus also tells the user the amount of energy the ring has left before timing out.
Life-Form Lock[]
Although the user can change aliens at will, without changing back to a human, the wearer cannot stay as an alien for a long duration unless with Life-Form Lock active. With this mode active the user can stay an alien for as much time needed, but this is not recommended due to the usage of this mode can cause the wearer to slowly die.
