The Nigh Omnitrix is a version of an ordinary Omnitrix with the main difference of hybridizing the user's DNA and the selcted DNA into one species. It is not canon to any known universe and free usage for anyone.

Appearance[]

The Nigh Omnitrix looks almost exactly like the full Omnitrix, with the difference of having a darker, gray outline.

Features[]

  • Unlike most versions of Omnitrixes, the Nigh Omnitrix does not convert DNA. Instead, it mixes the selscted DNA sample with the user's DNA, resulting in a hybrid. For instance, if a human were to use the Nigh Omnitrix and selected the Galvan DNA sample, he would result into a Human-Galvan hybrid.
  • Just like the Omnitrix, the Nigh Omnitrix contains digitalized versions of DNA samples from across the galaxy.
  • The Nigh Omnitrix has most of its normal counterpart's features, such as scanning unidentified DNA, repairing damaged DNA or artificial intelligence.
  • Due to changing the user's DNA only partially, the transformation lasts four times longer compared to a full transformation.

Modes[]

Active mode is the default mode of the Nigh Omnitrix. The user is free to choose any of the available transformations and be hybridized with it.

Recharge Mode makes the Nigh Omnitrix's transformations temporarily unaccessible due to it recharging. Because the Nigh Omnitrix changes only half of the DNA, Recharge Mode is four times shorter that in other Omnitrixes.

Scan Mode is only activated in presence of unidentified or locked DNA. The dial turns yellow and a yellowish-green ray scans the lifeform whose DNA is in question.

Etymology[]

Nigh Omnitrix is a play on Nigh Omnipotence and various other "Nigh Omni-" terms.

Trivia[]

  • If a user were to use the Nanochip DNA, he would be transformed into the ordinary Nanomech.
    • In fact, the concept of the Nigh Omnitrix was partially based on this type of transformation.
