New Haven is a base of operations used by Ryden in the series, Mutant Drake.
Appearance[]
New Haven is an underground fortress with surfaces made from dirt and similar materials. Because New Haven is connected to Ryden's powers, he can control the overall layout of the base to a point where rooms are in different locations while exits and entrances can exist elsewhere. There are various rooms within New Haven including Ryden's Study, Ryden's Throne Room and an area built for his Mutant Army.
History[]
New Haven was accessed through a construction site in Manhattan at one point. It was used long enough to gain the interest of the MCA who often examined the area but their searches have provided nothing for them, every time. However, two employees for Central News, Kate and Adam, were searching for a hooded figure to interview, rumored to be at the construction site. They accidentally discovered the entrance to New Haven and traveled inside to look around. At the same instance, Drake, the hooded figure, inflitrated New Haven in order to find the source of the Mutants before the MCA. Later, Drake and Kate would continue to lurk through New Haven until Drake was captured by Ryden's henchmen and brought to his throne room. Using information from Ryden's Study, Kate convinced Drake that Ryden was not who he seemed. After Drake and Kate escaped New Haven, Ryden moved the fortress away from the construction site and went into hiding.
After recieving the information that Kate stole from him, Ryden learned something new about Nanogenes and decided to come out of hiding and into the open. On Christmas Eve, Ryden brought New Haven to the surface in Central Park and invited Drake to come inside, after threatening to kill his hostages, people in the park at the time. When Ryden gets what he came for, he mutates one of the hostages into a large humanoid Mutant within New Haven. This causes the Mutant to grow around the fortress until it seemingly wears it as some type of armor. The fortress moved out of the city with the Mutant, later dubbed as the Macro Monster. When the Macro Monster is defeated, New Haven is seemingly destroyed as it crashes into MCA Headquarters.
