Moondate is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Croscans from the planet Ygyzys. He is a free use alien made by Blake.
Appearance[]
Moondate is a crescent moon shaped alien, seemingly even made of rock like a moon, with his body being a pale pink color. He has two circular green eyes. He wears a green and white dress on his right side, and black bands on his left, the ones on his center connecting to the Omnitrix having green spikes. His body is only about the size of a penny, technically smaller given his shape.
Moondate wears the Omnitrix on his back.
Personality[]
Moondate is a cheerful alien, even when in combat. He enjoys various fruits, and sleeping. He speaks in an Australian accent.
Powers[]
- Moondate is able to give commands in a more abstract fashion, as he manipulates concepts such as powers or forces more than he does giving out, say, a military command. The most notable example his species utilizes is commanding gravity to not impact them, so that they can float as they please.
- Moondate's orders last for an indefinite amount of time even if the user transforms.
Weaknesses[]
- Moondate, much like the Relic System aliens, has a limit of three commands he can have active at any given point. He has no control over which command will go away once he makes another.
- Moondate's center of gravity is bad, hence the need to command gravity to stop working on him, and he will simply be left to fall over if he does not act on gravity.
- Moondate will sometimes simply fall asleep, even if fighting.
- Moondate's lasting effect commands can result in negative effects if he forgets to undo the command.

Etymology[]
- Moondate's name is a play on "moon" and "mandate."
- Moondate's species name is a play on the Latin translation of "crescent rose," referencing Ruby Rose's weapon from RWBY.
- Moondate's planet name is a reverse spelling of "syzygy," referring to a nearly straight line configuration of celestial bodies, usually in relation to an eclipse.
Trivia[]
- Moondate was the eighth in an experiment of having several people give attributes for a single alien, independent of each other, with Blake needing to figure out the design and the way all the powers could come together cohesively.
- Moondate's crescent shaped body is a reference to Crescent Rose from RWBY. The reference is strengthened by Moondate having a similar three limitation to the Relic Aliens, also RWBY inspired, as well as the general lore of the species referencing humanity's second origin story in RWBY.
- Moondate's outfit is meant to reference Tudor fashion on his right, and Mad Max style outfits on his left. His dress being green, aside from just being the color Ben's aliens tend to wear, was done with the green dress worn by Anne Boleyn in SIX: The Musical in mind.
- Moondate's personality and Australian accent act as references to The Wiggles. Him being a moon with an Australian accent also acts as an unintentional reference to the Australian YouTuber, PearlescentMoon.
