Metal John is a villain from Earth-68. It is a robot that serves Dr. Eggman, his creator.
Dimension 1 (John Smith 10)
Metal John is technically the Naljian Destructor, a piece of 20+ technology that Eggman happened to find. Knowing that it takes on the form of anything it sees, Eggman used his intelligence, and was able to link it to the wireless signal sent from Primus to the Omnitrix. This turned the Destructor into John's form, and Eggman named it Metal John.
It first appears and attacks John on Naboo, defeating him after an intense battle. He then appears with his creator Dr. Eggman at the arena on Geonosis. After driving John off, he follows Eggman in his retreat.
He fights John at Eggman's base, to allow Eggman and Jarret to escape. Metal defeats John once again, escaping.
John believes that he needs the Ultimate forms to defeat Metal, having Azmuth unlock them for him. However, this causes John's mutation into Ultimate John.
Metal makes a final appearance attacking Earth under Eggman's commands. John, still mutated and mad, fights Metal as Alien X, and destroys the Naljian Destructor.
After Intellectuary shatters the universe, he revives Metal John. He currently has him targeting John's former love interests, having captured Kai and Yenal.
Appearance
Being linked to the Codon Stream, and with John's form being the default form, Metal looks exactly like John Smith.
Powers and Abilities
Originally, the Naljian Destructor turns into anything it sees, mimics it, and uses a duplicate form of the person's powers. However, being linked to the Codon Stream, Metal can turn into any alien that is in John's Omnitrix, and successfully use their powers. It seems to also have a form of artificial intelligence that allows it to transform into a suitable alien for the circumstances.
