Megawad

Megawads are a species in the Trixters universe. They live in Flavour Town.

Appearance

Megawads are legless, humanoid aliens made entirely out of pink gum. They have floating heads resembling chewed wads of gum and two large, bulbous cheeks on their faces. They wear types of shades to protect their eyes from solar rays. They have mechanized chestplates with storage units in their centers which hold their bubblegum cores. The mechanized chestplates typically have two sleeves that vary in colour.

History

Megawads evolved from the violet algae found on certain asteroids in Flavour Town. They used the excess energy created by their bodies upon eating more gum to power their way into civilisation quickly, creating mechanised suits to better control their energy and stop it from leaking out. They formed an advanced, somewhat corrupt society within a few hundred years which is where they have stayed since. Many have also chosen to live on / visit other asteroids including the habitats of the Radirunn.

Behaviour

Megawads can be quite egotistical and self-centered, with most of their actions and advancements only being done to better themselves or their society which many view as being superior to others. This is due to being one of two species in their home world and the more advanced of the two.

Powers and Abilities

Megawads can use their mechanized chestplates to levitate, allowing them to move around.

Megawads have naturally sticky skin.

When Megawads chew bubblegum, they releases large amounts of energy which would typically start zapping around and out their bodies. Thanks to their mechanized chestplates, they can more evenly distribute and control this energy which allows them to:

• Enhance all of their general attributes by a small amount (stuff like strength and speed, however they don't get ALL of them (the ones they get are in their categories)) (stacks with more gum chewed).
• Create energy constructs (more gum chewed = larger, better energy constructs).

Weaknesses

If Megawads' mechanized chestplate become badly damaged, it will stop functioning making Billblegum unable to distribute its gum-powered energy evenly in its body or levitate, rendering them pretty useless.

Megawads' sticky skin is quite repulsive to touch or possibly even think about. This could also be a power depending on how you look at it.

Etymology

Megawad comes from the word "megawatt", a unit of measure for energy transfer, and "wad", as in a wad of gum. It is also a reference to the former species name of the Nosedeenians, the Megawhatts.

Trivia

• Megawads, who have a transformation in a trix, live in the same home world as Radirunn, who also have a transformation in a trix.
• Megawads only have pores on top of their head and thus produce sweat nowhere else on their bodies.
