Magister Max Tennyson is a hero in Earth-1010. He first appeared in Death of Ben 10 Chapter 4. He is a human from the planet Earth. He is a Magister-ranked Plumber.
Appearance[]
Max is a 60 year old human with a stocky build. He has grey hair and brown eyes. He wears a red Hawaiian shirt with a floral design. He wears a black undershirt and while trousers with grey shoes.
Personality[]
Max is very wise, serving as Ben and Gwen's mentors when they were younger. He is also very kind, taking Kevin under his wing after he joined Ben's team.
He has an advanced knowledge of alien species and technology, which has proven beneficial to his position as a Plumber. This may stem from his desire to work with NASA back when he was in the US Air Force.
Powers and Abilities[]
Max is very athletic for his age, and can easily hold his own in combat. He has access to a wide array of alien technology thanks to his position within the Plumbers.
Max trained in the Air Force and is a very skilled pilot.
Weaknesses[]
Ultimately Max has no special powers. Without technological aid, he doesn't stand a chance against more powerful aliens or foes.
Biography[]
Background[]
Max Tennyson was once a high ranked Plumber, however he retired to live a quiet life at the age of 55. The weapons and technology he was allowed to keep proved useful in helping Ben after he found the Omnitrix five years later.
Max informally came out of retirement at age 65, during the events of Alien Force, and formally returned to the position of Magister one year later during the events of Omniverse. Since then he has been one of the most important figures in defending the Earth.
Death of Ben 10[]
During Death of Ben 10, Max tried to help Ben and Rook come up with a way to protect Sella despite the Plumbers being unable to formally aid her. He later helped rally the Plumber forces when Apollo's Army arrived in the Solar System.
Ben 10: Reboot Revolution[]
Max was present in Chapter 1 to celebrate Ben's victory over Apollo. In Chapter 2 he helped Ben Delta realise that he was in another dimension and not his own future. He was then attacked by one of the Lenopan Degradations disguised as Kevin and left incapacitated. He was restored by Azmuth using the Omnitrix in Chapter 3.
