Appearance

Luminferus is a bright yellow/cream humanoid alien with a rather standard body shape. His head is sloped, with what appears to be protective plating covering most of it. The Ultimatrix symbol is on his chest.

Weaknesses

Luminferus becomes weaker in the shade, and is highly vulnerable to shadow-based attacks.

Species and planet information

Luminferus is a Litonares from the planet Trizetra.

Trizetra is a rotationally-locked planet, meaning that one side faces towards the sun and one side faces away from the sun at all times. The Litonares live on the side facing the sun, having evolved to live in the bright light and extreme temperatures.

It is theorized that the Litonares and their shadow counterparts, the Daronites, evolved from a common ancestor that originally lived in the planet's small 'Habitable Zone', but the species eventually evolved into two different forms to live in every area of the planet. This is difficult to confirm, however, as fossil evidence of this theory has yet to be found.
