Loveseat is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Tropnevad from the planet Earth. He is a free use alien made by Blake.
Appearance[]
Loveseat is a large couch. His cushions are purple, with magenta, marigold, and teal patterns. His back, arms, and seat are lavender, and teeth stick out from under his cushions. He has vermillion wooden legs. His eyes are perfectly circular green dots that are the buttons of his two outer cushions, beneath black eyebrows. His center cushion has a white tank top.
Loveseat wears the Omnitrix on the front of his seat.
Personality[]
Loveseat is a very laid back alien, and takes solace in very simple things, even going so far as to create elaborate spiels on why the simple thing in question may be so good.
Powers[]
- Loveseat constantly emits a low-level magnetic frequency that disrupts the area of the brain responsible for motion perception. The magnetic field has an effective range of about 10 square meters. At the furthest point, the recipient will perceive all motion, including that of Loveseat, as being jittery and performed in snapshots. The closer one attempts to get to him, they will find that motion seemingly stops entirely, and people and objects will "teleport" from being from one state to another. This includes fine motion, such as lip movement, so even following a conversation can be difficult.
- Loveseat's presence causes others, even including inanimate objects, to feel romantic attraction to him,
Weaknesses[]
- Loveseat's main two powers combined makes for a terrible combination, as his romantic allure will cause others to try to approach, and be stuck in his motion blur field.
- Loveseat's motion blur does not impact those with the ability to manipulate magnetism, such as Lodestar.

Etymology[]
- Loveseat's name is a play on the term itself, referring to a two-seated couch typically used for lovers to sit together, but also just off of "love" referring to his allure.
- Loveseat's species name is a reverse spelling of Davenport, the type of couch Loveseat's species are animated versions of.
- Loveseat's planet name is a reference to Ancel Keys, who coined the term "Loveseat index" in its modern context in the 1972 edition of Journal of Chronic Diseases.
Trivia[]
- Loveseat was the tenth in an experiment of having several people give attributes for a single alien, independent of each other, with Blake needing to figure out the design and the way all the powers could come together cohesively.
- Loveseat is one of the few aliens to have an existing Watsonian reason given for the species name.
